Good morning Good Folks!

A big WELCOME to all the newcomers and all the "returners" :D

It's time for my Saturday morning PV maintenance and DIY mixing. This morning, I'll need to make up a fresh batch of nic base -- 240mls of 50/50 @ 10mg/ml. From there, I mix most of it down to 5mg in 60ml bottles of 50/50, 60pg/40, 30pg/70, and leave some @ 10mg for those times I need a nic-kick.

50/50 goes in the Subtanks (Mini and Nano)
60pg works better in the Lemo and Ego ONE
70vg for the RDAs

Unless, of course, you're looking to win a cloud competition, rather than "just" be an EX-smoker. :D

Yessir, I'm perfectly happy being "just" an ex-smoker. I do use 1-1.2Ω coils @ 12-15w these days, but that's so I can take 2-3 second lung hits and still have a substantial exhale. Remembering back to '09, sucking relentlessly on 901 and 510 cigalikes till my eyes bugged out, trying to get enough of a drag to make me NOT want a M'bro red, makes me shudder!

Thank you kindly.

Heavens! Would a bit of counselling help?

Thank you!

I guess we mustn't stray off topic too far but I love the friendly world of OpenSource. It's always a shock to stray into the shark infested waters of MS, Apple and co. I run Fedora and Mint, neither of which is perfect but, for a guy who started out on punched paper tape, they're astoundingly good. I run my mobile on Cyanogenmod (Android without the Google bits) but I find it a nightmare to use. At the moment I'm trying to find a place to share my Linux/LibreOffice version of Scubabatdan's fabulous mixing spreadsheet.

Yeah, I probably need counseling alright, but not because of Windows! :D

I know XP Pro, Vista (ugh), and Win 7 (the best one yet) well enough to fix them in my sleep. Don't even mention Win 8 (sucks bigtime)... 8.1 is a little better. I've got Win 10 beta in a virtual PC on my laptop and it looks promising -- and the best part about 10 is it'll be a free "upgrade" to anyone running XP and up.

I can't do it either but I'm going to anyway. I think the Halo Tribeca is a higher PG mix as well. Not sure but it vapes like it. This has been fun and there's still so far to go with it. Quick Nic and Butterfly's are coming next. Tribeca really is good though you should try it if you haven't.

Once you get into DIY (see what I did there? :)), you can get your fav high-PG juices in a higher than normal nic % and just add some of your own VG to your preferred ratio and nic %.

Good day to all, hope everyone has a great weekend!

Rats!

I forgot to take my nic out of the freezer last night, so it'll be a few hours before I can open the bottle at ambient temp.

It crossed my mind yesterday (a short trip for sure) to "test" the longetivity of the Ego ONE 2200mah battery. So after it fully charges, I'll fill and refill the ST Nano on it and use it exclusively this weekend, to see how many tankfulls until the batt gets down to ~60%.

Better go service the mower, much yardwork to do today.

Well I sure hope you are all y'all are happy. I spent so much time having fun with you in these porches last night I forgot to recharge my mod. So I'm now having to mash my forehead on the desk just to get my straining lips to it on its stupidly short USB lead. Of course it would be possible to just swap in a new battery but it's the butler's day off. And I'll have to go vapeless shopping* now 'cos the pantry maid's off too. Really my dears, the pressures of modern living...

* Would that be "going commando shopping" perhaps?

I split my nic up into small bottles for the freezer.

My 2200 Mah iStick lasts about 4-5 hours with a Subtank on it at 22-25 watts. Another hour or two if it's a 1.2 Ohm coil. With a Nautilus, it will last two days at work, 16 hours.

What size bottles? I use the Wizard labs 8ml bottles. A few minutes in my armpit, and it is ready to go, and I am wide awake.

Sorry thought you had a big bottle. I use 15 ml bottles. Have a tupperware tub full of em in there. I do low nic and Tootle Puff so a 15 ml bottle of 100mg nic lasts me a while.

Well I'm back. The doc says my leak is pretty stable only 2ms greater then before and the valve is opening and closing the same. He suggested having another echoin 6 months and if I have anymore palpitations to wear a sonic monitor or something like that for a month but I guess I am going to live for the present which is good news EKG was not normal but the same as before so I guess I'm not all better but I'm not any worse which is good. Now I have to go into the VA and they are going to give me every blood test known to man. I asked if they were going to check my liver functions and they said those and many other functions I told them I didn't have that many functions anymore, then they are going to start me on the $100K Hep C treatment. Got the OK from the heart doc to do it. He said he has heard of no cardiac issues with it.

Well that sounds like good news that nothing is worse. Good luck w/ the upcoming blood tests.

Good morning old and new porchers:) Got a Kayfun lite mini from ft and I like it so much I've ordered another.

I just gave Janet my KFL nano - so that makes 3 that she's using on a daily basis.

Took a small step towards DIY. Don't know why I was so reluctant to pull the trigger on an order but this is my start. From eCig Express:

Ry4 Tobacco by FlavourArt Size 30ml 7-12-0423-00-12-99 1 $9.74

7 Leaves Tobacco by FlavourArt Size 10ml 7-12-0003-00-08-99 1 $3.74

3mg Unflavored Nicotine Base Size 120ml Base 50/50 Mix 6-01-0003-00-17-02 1 $5.99

Plastic Bottle with Blue Needle Cap Size 30ml 4-99-0161-01-12-00 2 $1.78

Plastic Bottle with Blue Needle Cap Size 10ml 4-99-0161-01-08-00 3 $2.37

Subtotal $23.62
Shipping & Handling $3.81
Grand Total $27.43

I wasn't ready to order jugs of VG and PG and separate nic yet. Just like when I started vaping, I wasn't ready to buy an iStick and a Subtank. I started small with a 800 Mah spinner and a cheap little tank to make sure I liked it first.
