Mike and Chuck - great stories. I always say it and I will keep on saying it - it does not matter how you quit or how long it takes to quit - as long as you get there and do not stop trying until you do. It took me several months also and the great support that I got on ECF let me know that I would make it and I did...

Congrats to all that have quit and to all that know that they will...

Very fitting post for me today. I just purchased some WTA base and eJuice today. I've been vaping over 5 years and went from 2 1/2 pad to 5-10 smokes per day over that time. Been thinking about cutting it back hopefully to none and thought the WTA might be the nudge I needed. I know quiting has a lot to do with attitude and really wanting to.

When I started vaping, it wasn't to quit smoking even though I knew I should and it really wasn't mostly about the cost, vaping was fun and tasted a lot better and mostly got in the way of smoking.

It was an 'edge' that helped me. Honestly it (WTA) wasn't an ah-ha moment like this makes vaping the same as smoking. But for me it did help take the 'edge' off the craving for a cigarette. I still had to develop the new habit of vaping to replace smoking. WTA didn't, for me, make it a 1 to 1 switch but did help me kick the smokes.

The Cherry/Vanilla/Rum sounds interesting - would love if you would share your recipe!

Hi kariM, I had to modify the original batch as the nic was too strong for me. During the modifying of the batch, I threw the recipe out by mistake. Yeap, a real rookie DIY mistake. Sometimes I can be a real dunce. I know I used Cherry, Vanilla, Banana, and Rum. I am thinking it was 3ml of everything except the Rum was 1.5ml. I used the eJuice Me Up calculator.

Sorry you are getting dry hits with the A2. Mine doesn't dry hit but the vapor production with mine is disappointing. Flavor is pretty good but even at 60-70 watts at .3 Ohm, the clouds are downright puny even with max VG. I think my first Atlantis put out clouds bigger than that. The coils seem to last a long time, a good bit longer than a Kanger OCC for sure. And flavor is improved over the first Atlantis, IMO.
I hate to say it, but I have given up on my A2. I had a friend recommend the Herakles and I am so happy with it that I just ordered a second one. I've yet to get dry hits and the flavor is wonderful. I have heard that the A2 coils will work in the Herakles so I may see about putting Herakles coil in the V2 to see if it will help. I have the Herakles on an IPV4 and it is wonderful. The only down side is the Herakles really goes through the juice.

Mikey only tested one cereal on TV...

... then *poof*

Never saw him check these out, to Susan's (c-peach) dismay...

Actually, he didn't exactly go poof

Vaping related, I got a free sample of piña colada eliquid from MBV... Initially, it is pretty good, but after vaping it a while, I think it's only an occational flavor, not a go-to one.

Well thank you for getting back to me. I will have to see If I can come up with something for him. He did try the Pink Starburst that is one of my favorites - the recipe I believe is from "Bill's Magic Vapor" on the TFA Flavors Thread. So I will probably make some of that up for him - I will try to create something Cherry/Vanilla/Rum - I just won't really know if it is good - since those flavors are not something I would be looking for. I guess he will let me know if he likes it

I just made up some of the Flamingo (thanks again Seapeach) and the Starburst for my youngest son as well as a Starburst, Melon Cream, Strawberry Cream and Strawberry Banana for my son's girl friend. She gets more - because she has made it two weeks smoke free :)

One of the myfreedomsmokes.com discounts that I wait for has come around again, as it does every couple of months.

It's 40% off on coils. The discount code is june40coil, limit of 2 packages of each kind of coil that you order.

I got 2 five-packs of Nautilus BVC coils, which will last at least until the next time the 40% discount comes around.

I cannot believe that they have already had over 9,000 posts since yesterday morning. They must really want to get to 20mil posts quick...
That's really been the approximate average number of posts per day ever since 10 million total posts, over a year and a half ago. Not quite 9000 per day but well over 8000 per day.

Thanks for the tip. I have bought from MFS several times and needed some T3 and Protank coils. I was having to rewick/rebuild as needed as I had no spares for those tanks.

Well MFS advertises the i16 and i30 coils as the same thing. They are NOT. Look the same but the i30 wick is just a tad longer. But you can pull one or two of em out so that the reach deeper.

Yep I bought maybe 25 808 Esmart clearos from an outfit that had them listed at 2.2 ohms however all that I bought over the course of 3 separate orders were 1.8 ohms and clearly marked on the box.
Ohh well they were cheap and worked.

I have been having a horrible time with Paypal the past few days. I used Paypal for a purchase, and the charge was listed as pending, had not yet been removed from my bank. WTH? did they think it was another compromised number? Called the vendor, and she reminded me that Paypal does not withdraw money until the item arrives. I thought it was optional, but I guess it is SOP now.
