Ok folks , do I want my new Samsung 25R button top battery tops to look like #1 or #2?

I mostly see flat top didn't know they had a button top.
My flat top ones are blue and all the others I've seen are blue.
Search at some stores shows button top ones and they are blue.

I just found out about the button tops myself. Samsung INR 18650 25R Battery FLAT OR BUTTON TOP | Lightning Vapes is where I got them, so knew they were legit, but didn't expect them to come with all the wrapping and the circle sticker thing around the top. Mine are blue, that Google pic is just to have something to show when I asked my question. There's no way I coulda put what it looked like into words.

That would be tough.... If it wouldn't be too much of a hassle, take some mixing stuff with you? Then, you could play a bit and maybe nail what he's looking for

I am not sure that mixing there will work - the looks and comments I get when I even mention mixing juice - I don't think that will fly with the 20 + people that are likely to be there I did mix up a small sample of the Cherries Jubilee that I got from the dropbox recipes. Since I am not sure what I am looking for - it was not awful - but not something that would make me want to keep it. I guess I will see what he thinks when he tries it.

He is cheap (frugal) and always broke so is willing to take almost anything I don't like so I am sure it will all be good.

I purchase a lot of things from Lightning Vapes. Not always the cheapest, but near where I live, fast service and shipping, and Sean is always quick with answers to questions and very helpful.

This was the first I'd heard of MBV's move. I skimmed the article earlier. Gonna give it a good read again. I live in Indiana, and there's all kinds of "smack" that's going to happen come July 1. My favorite B&M (not only because it's right around the corner from me) makes 90% of the juice it sells in house and to order. They have four locations just in my town alone. Plus a couple more in Indiana and a couple in Ohio. I don't buy much juice from them anymore, but I sure gave them 90%-plus of my "purchased juice" business before I started DIYing.....

Some of the legislation requires clean rooms, advanced video surveillance of the mixing area, and keeping various samples (locked away for random inspections). Yes, I want my juice to be safe, but REALLY - this seems like a bit of overkill.... {sigh}

Actually saving a sample of each batch is a good legal protection for if you ever get sued for someone claiming bad juice caused injury.

Got my flavors in today as well. I am hesitant to get started since I don't know how much to mix in.

I got Flavor Art RY4 and 7 Leaves tobacco. No recipe or calc.

Hmmmm, I am just now mixing tobacco flavors. Don't hesitate to wander to the DIY section - there are TONS of folks out there willing and better able to help. I use mostly TFA and CAP flavors, and I find that I need more than one flavor (especially the TFA's) in a mix. I looked for a percentage list, but couldn't seem to find one. However I did find a thread where a vaper commented that he couldn't mix his FA tobaccos above 3%. So, I'd suggest SMALL samples (5mL?) and try various percentages in each sample. 1%, 2%, 3%, etc. May need to let them steep for a while (few days/week(s)?) to determine how each really turns out....

Thanks, clnire sent me a PM with some suggestions on getting started. Going with 10% on both and will see how it goes. Might try 5ml each tomorrow and then let the other 5ml steep a week or two.

I do want to try the TFA RY4 Double. Any recommendation how many drops per 10ml on that?

I was thinking somewhere around 5% for the RY4 Double

This dropbox has a bunch of recipes for the e-juicemeup calculator as well as recommended percentages for the various TFA flavorings.

Sounds like the batteries were just wrapped very responsibly for shipping. Tip of the hat to them!
