Or, as we say now: Patooie! Spit, spit! ...YUK!
I was actually trying to think of a better way to say that. Patooie, spit, spit! had just slipped over the horizon of my memory. Thank you for the reminder!

Looks like Crystal E Liquid screwed up my order big time. The bottles are labeled right but the juice in them is not RY4 at all. It smells like some kind of watermelon liquid. Had problems with them on my last order, too. Can't recommend their juice any more. They are likely to screw up the order and if they are that hare brained, I have concerns about ingesting anything mixed by them. This is very disappointing. :|
That sucks, Metal. Hope they make it right by you.

They have lightened up on a few things.....Classy fixed it so we can now speak of charles dickens, and use the word oxymoron, so long as they don't get abused. and I do realize you are saying they're looking the other way rather than actually changing rules, however, I think it will take much more than 3 states legalizing certain things before they'll look the other way at that type of talk, because as sure as one person gets away with a reference to vegetation, another person will talk of something much more potent and that will likely never be allowed.
They do not want that talk here at all. I think they're just having more trouble keeping up with it these days.

LOL...yep...that works.... had someone tell me Arigatou gozaimasu (thank you)...one night.....had all kinds of fits just trying to post the proper polite reply...
A bunch of stuff was banned, some really odd words, because the spammers where getting totally out of control. One night on the noob form there were something like two ligit threads (okay a bunch of us had completely hijacked one of those ridiculously whinny threads) in FIVE PAGES of posts. It was the only way they could control it.

Well...I was wondering if I should join the fun in the sun with folks my on age
..but you are here Cathy so I recon I'll grab a rocking chair and get my cape on. [emoji85] [emoji86] [emoji87] [emoji3]

Welcome to the porch Sirius! Looks like you've staged a complete takeover already, congratulations! And if you expect us to act our age, you're seriously mistaken. :pervy:

Well, Louisiana has gone and raised taxed on cigarettes. Whoopee doo!! 50 cents per pack on July 1. However, they also raised taxes on vaping liquids. I forget what it is, but it's just enough to tick me off. For the life of me, I can't figure out why they don't raise taxes on booze? We have the highest auto insurance rates in the country because the way people down here like to drink and drive.

Ah, I just found it.......5 cents per milliliter.

"One of the reasons Ritchie says he is pushing numerous tobacco tax increases is to help people, including himself, to quit smoking" http://www.rstreet.org/2015/04/21/e-cigarette-taxes-arent-the-answer-to-louisianas-budget-woes/

Do they realize how contradictory that is???? They want the added revenue, but they want smokers to quit smoking??? Yeah, no small wonder we're last in the nation for a bunch of stuff.
Those drive-thru daiquiri stands might have something to do with it. ;)

Just watch the steps, got a splinter in my .... sitting there. Or maybe it was a piece of Kanthal?
Still denying it was a pin from one of Iffy's pincushions, eh? We've all been had at one time or another. Going to have a public tar and feathering of him next Monday night.
Bacon!!!!!!! that's the magic word!!!!

Here is the support ticket I sent to MFS on Saturday morning:

Heatvape Invader Mini- return authorization requested

1. Does not detect whether nickel coil or kanthal coil is attached.
2. Shuts off if not used for 3 minutes, requiring removal and re-insertion of battery, followed by removal and reattachment of the atomizer tank, followed by changing the power setting, after which the PV SOMETIMES reads the atomizer correctly.
3. Does NOT remember previous settings when used with a kanthal coil. Instead, it defaults to thinking that a sub-ohm nickel coil is installed.
4. Even though it came in what's supposed to be the newer packaging where such flaws were supposedly addressed, the unit has all of the defects, and worse, that the original version was reported to have, as reported by Phil Busardo in this video:

I would like to return it for a credit or refund, since it is not as described in your sales information.

Thanks!
Dave Bellware

MFS has not yet responded. I didn't have a nickel coil available until yesterday to check how the mod performed in temperature control mode. Since my Invader Mini DOES work correctly in temperature control mode, I may well decide to keep it.

I would think MFS would replace it for you with no problem. Sorry you got a dud.

Yes well,..being a retired trucker myself,..forced into it mind you,..I know the trucker attitude. Truckers are NOT ordinary or normal people..I'm fact,.we all all quite insane! hehe
I see you've met beckdg.

but apparently not you.

I'm having some trouble with my Tugboat clone and was hoping y'all could offer some advice. I'm just doing a simple single coil build this one is a 7 wrap 24 ga read .7 Ohm after install. It starts off fine but twice now after I drip some liquid in there, the resistance reading on the mod jumps. Got 1.5 Ohms once and 2.4 this last time. Happens with both the IPV and the iStick last night and today with two different builds.

edit:

Got some spare screws from the box and was going to replace both neg and pos but it seems to have stopped after putting in a new screw on the neg post.

Haven't heard anything from Crystal E Liquid about the mystery juice they sent me.

Still haven't gotten a response from MFS regarding the ticket I filled out 3 days ago for my defective Heatvape Invader Mini mod. I'll call them tomorrow.

Meantime, I found that even at 500 degrees F and 48 watts with the 0.11 ohm pre-built nickel coil in my Kanger Subtank, the Invader was not giving me vapor as voluminous or tasty as I get with a 0.5 ohm or 0.6 ohm Kanthal coil at 16 watts.

I'm going with the theory that this is not due to any problem with the temperature control mode of the Invader. I think it's due to the pre-built nickel coils not being all that great to begin with.

Regardless, I've now put the Invader away and am no longer entertaining the idea of keeping it, thanks to those who were making the sensible recommendation that there is no point in accepting a product that is defective when used in power mode (conventional mode.)

I just made 100 ml of single-flavor joose using TFA Orange Mandarin flavor for the first time. I used 8%. Hits the spot for me! I loves me some orange flavor!

My best wishes to those in the Texas area in their dealings with Tropical Storm Bill!

Glad you're liking the new juice. Wonder if TFA makes a blood orange flavor. Surprised you haven't heard from MFS. Maybe they called and you didn't answer? ;) Hey Texas, send the rain over here please! Really, I hope everyone is safe and damage is avoided.

Just Got Email From Crystal E Liquid:

Forgot you'd already been pin pfeathered sleeping in the lost and found basket.

Cool, hadn't heard of The Crimson Wing: Mystery of the Flamingos. Will have to look it up. Silly beagle, you never saw those pin pheathers coming did you? All this time you thought it was the Red Barron.

Merry Christmas.

No way am I going to find that post about my pfossilized pheathers being in the lost and found/Iffy sleeping basket. :( Pheratherless Phrenzied Pheeding on frozen coffee yogurt right now. :D

That reminds me, will we have to get a new porch at 750 pages?

My father was into Mr. Mcgoo, lol.

I'm dying for the day when "they" realize vaping is a valuable quit smoking tool and have to eat it over all the laws and taxes they've been passing. The truth just has to catch up someday. I hope.

I loved Sylvester amd Tweety cartoons as a kid. One day when I was older (ok, still a baby in my 20s, a long time ago) I was watching cartoons and realized at the end of one Sylvester put a gun to his head and blew it off! They wouldn't allow those cartoons today. Sponge Bob Square Pants! Geesh..
