Well got my mod with the sx350j chip on order , same one as in the sx mini m class.
I will see how it goes when i get it. Thought originally I had to build to 0.1 which is still a few wraps using nickel but legs said you can go lower , to 0.05 , so probably try for 0.07-0.08Ω. Is it accurate , is it any good , don't know and probably won't know if its accurate even after using it as I'm not planning on measuring the temp with anything just go by what the device does. Too hot turn it down too cold turn it up.

8,193 people have signed the petition so far. Thank you everybody. Not exactly sure what the rules are but I think it has to be an astronomical number of signers, like a million, before it's sent to the targets of the petition. The goal is to make people aware of what is going on and hopefully have politicians take note that people are not happy with what is going on and are willing to fight.

Try telling that to my cats :w00t:
They got the point, at least while I was there.

To me the kgd has a bit of flavor for the first few puffs after a wick change. And yes i let the wick get soaked.
I didn't notice it the first time, probably because it didn't taste like a wet t-shirt for once, but did after that. Lasts a very short time, then all is good.

Regarding the petition... the "owner" gets to decide the cut-off on change.org. It's the White House that has a high minimum to be looked at. But with this, once the person who started it (Lessifer, in this case) decides it's enough, they do whatever to "close" and send it. I'd expect him to keep tabs, and if it looks like the rate of signing is dropping off, do it then.

White cat doesn't look too happy.... probably because flamingo doesn't taste as good as mouse (if you're a cat, anyway...)

Thank you, what's being said all makes sense now.

Yeah? Try getting cat fur out of your beak.

IIRC, anything sent to the whitehouse needs a minimum of 100k to get looked at. So there's a loooong way to go.
That beats the one million I thought it'd need. Ten thousand in two days isn't shabby. While I was there I signed, naturally, the anti Chinese dog meat festival petition. Which reminds me...

Is it just me or is FT just recycling their items with different pictures on them? Seems like the same drip tips and tanks over and over again. And yes, I do have it sorted to date listed. Does make not buying anything much easier.

Yep thats just about it Wolfy. What I do is depending on the juice turn it up or down. Some of my flavors taste to strong at one setting and I turn the temp down 10 degrees. .07 is good. A lot of guys use higher I think it will go to .3 in Joules mode. If you like a warmer vape 26awg a little cooler 28awg. 26 is about 7 wraps 3mm, 28 is about 5 wraps 3mm. I'm experimenting with a 2.5mm coil still 5 wraps the diff between that and 3mm is about .003ohms. 2.5 comes out .073 3mm is .078 depending on the atty you are using. I am trying the 2.5 because I was occasionally having wicking issues with the STM at 3mm but I think I found a way around that too.

Whitehouse.gov and change.org are two different animals. The 100K signature requirement for a petition on whitehouse.gov guarantees a written response from the White House.

There is no minimum number of signatures required for anyone who starts a petition on change.org. The more the better of course, but there are no magic numbers. The originator of any petition can send or deliver the signatures anywhere that they choose. Direct delivery via gyrocopter not recommended.

Of course. But the best place (IMO) to send it would be da whitehouse. Anywhere else seems to be a waste of time. Buffalo NY just passed a no vaping law wherever smoking is not permitted. And reason being... no one knows what's in vape. sigh

The petition is aimed primarily at congress urging them not to pass the FDA's deeming if it contains all the usual ridiculous restrictions.

I saw this thread today but was too angry to post in it. Democrats blast feds' delays in e-cigarette, tobacco rules | E-Cigarette Forum

Two tombs at Palmyra were blown up today, history taken away from every human on this planet--past, present and future--and these guys are worried about what flavor we are vaping while we stay off their federally approved cigarettes? Sorry, I'm really POed about Palmyra, not to mention politicians in general right now.

His plan is to send it to all the Reps, Senators, and the Pres. Haven't heard if he's set either a cutoff date or magic number.
I was just there, David, and a note said "499 needed to reach 10,000". Kind of makes me think 10,000 is the minimum needed. It should now say 498.

That number keeps changing as we go along. First it was X to reach 100, then X to reach 500, etc. Now it says 430, you apparently carry some weight in there. :)
