I still pop into other threads... even post. sometimes. But I post mostly on the porches because we have gathered some good people, who may need a gentle reminder to take arguments elsewhere, but don't need to be hit over the head with a 1000 watt transformer.
I would say for the most part, we are not politically correct "P.C. BAD!!!", but we are not snarky either.
I like it here.

My energy burst is finished. LOL

Energy burst?!?!? Braggart...

How much is the tax on bombs these days?

If ya have a Class III license, $200 tax stamp per 'device'. If ya don't have a Class III, no tax... just a loooong vacation at Club Med!

As far as venturing far from da porches, it's a lot 'safer' in our neighborhood! Less chance of 'self-detonation'...

Yes, @Ken_A. It is MUCH calmer here - perhaps some "maturity" in this thread?

Everyone in this thread has been warm and welcoming. It is quite refreshing. And most are long-time vapers, so there's no "I'm right and you're wrong" going on here... I am eternally grateful for all the help I've received during my journey. Winding and wicking coils, mixing juice, electronics refreshers (hold a degree in electrical engineering, but haven't practiced it in over 20 years....) It's been a re-education for sure.

Thank you folks for everything :) Thank you for helping to save my life.... I just passed 16 months smoke-free, and I feel AMAZING....

It IS a good feeling, isn't it Dinger? And the longer we vape, the better we feel about it all

I still "cruise" a few other threads, New Members, General, CASAA and other legislative ones, and Ask the Vets. That one pretty safe - since non-vets who post questions can't reply :)

This is a really cherished group. Several threads I have followed for a long time are turning into little drama spat sessions. My way is better than yours, well who died and made you in charge, on and on. Gets old real fast. This group, however, respects each other and although there may be disagreements, they are handled like adults, not a bunch of 5 year olds throwing temper tantrums.

People are leaving and going to other forums, or leaving threads and moving on. I am so comfortable here, I don't need to go anywhere. Any question I have had lately I get my answers here, with no arguments about what is better, just what works for you might work for me. Links to information and resources. Sharing joy, sorrow and anguish, worry and celebration of milestones, no matter how big or small. Lives for what they are, not some soap opera drama.

So thank you to everyone for welcoming me so warmly, and making me feel at home. I hope I am extending the same feeling toward others, because that is my whole intention. I love helping others, even if it is just to send regards, healing thoughts, prayers, congratulations, joy and sorrow. THIS is what friendship is all about.

{{{HUGS}}} to all!!!!!!

I agree with Dinger. If it wasn't for ECF inwhich sent me intoYouTube I would have given up on the vaporizers just from not understanding how they operate along with noobie issues. Once figured out I began to dwell into other paths of my vape journey. Now today I have great gear, mighty fine coils and wicks in all my attys and make my own juice and I can safely say both my wife and I are in vape nirvana and will continue to ride the wave.

I think I know exactly what thread has brought you to make this post.....and I would guess that we will see a couple more people, with valuable knowledge and experience, no longer sharing their info.:(

Yep!

Haven't seen anything "official" yet, but the budget passed earlier didn't include it, and no mention of it anywhere after - that I've seen.

So here's hoping!

Did vapours get people to do something nice for them ?
Soon y'all may be as smart as some mice :)

Straightened up my DIY supplies and put some of them up high in my BR closet. Grandkids are coming to visit so I don't want anything out where curious hands can grab them.

I just have to say - Thank you for taking the time to do that - and while they might not say it - your Grandkids thank you also or they would if they knew what you were doing for them...

Nice? Email and phone campaigns telling them we vape AND vote? Inundating them with FACTS. MBV leaving the State... Well, I guess maybe the attention they got could be considered "nice" since it's better than being ignored...

(The only smart mice around my house are the ones who decided to move down the street. A LONG way down the street, as my cats consider them food.)

You know your comment goes more to saying some people are not that smart or perhaps just greedy as they require many people to take action for them to do the right thing.

Washington sure has strung this out. Hope it stays dead, as I hope California's does too. And what's with raising the smoking age to 21? You drive a lethal weapon at 16, vote and get sent off to war to die at 18, but you can't drink (good idea) or smoke until you are 21. I don't want anybody to start smoking but really, more laws trying to corral kids that aren't going to work? ;)
I read an article about this and just shook my head. 13 & 14-year-olds are smoking so they raised the age to 21?? In Oregon, a 16-year-old can have a sex change operation without parent consent and it's paid for by the government! Yet we can't take care of our veterans!

Thanks Deb :) I try to help people out here as best I can. I don't know a lot, but I know things that I *SHOULDN'T* do (like wind a paperclip....)
Darn, and I just bought a new box of paperclips. How many wraps on a pencil does it take to get .05ohms on my homemade PVC mod with a single 18650 battery? Should I use the big clips or the little ones? <dripping sarcasm>

I just have to say - Thank you for taking the time to do that - and while they might not say it - your Grandkids thank you also or they would if they knew what you were doing for them...
You're welcome. My grandkids live in Houston and come to visit twice a year. Before they get here, all of my DIY gear and spare mods and toppers will be put away. It is just me and by 30+-year-old daughter in the house so major child-proofing takes place prior to their visit.
