So my 1st fasttech order took 18 days. It was held up for a few days because they were trying to re-stock an item that showed in stock when I placed an order. The contacted me about getting a refund, credit or just adding something else in its place. I opted for a refund and my PP acc't was credited quickly.

When the order arrived a spare glass tank than came w/ an atty I ordered was all in pieces. I contacted them about returning/exhanging it and/or getting a replacement tank. Next day they offered me $1.50 credit on my next purchase. Sheez!. I accepted that offer to be done with it.

Ω Ohhhhh so THATS what that is!! haha

Yep, learn something new everyday in here!

Those pen styles can give a good vape with the right topper, and are a fine backup anyway :)

Rebuilding is a lot easier to do than to explain in words o_O, and when you're ready, ask. We'll sure try to confuse the dickens out of you before pointing you to good youtubes  Depending on the topper and your budget, rebuilding can be a good way to save a few $$ over time. Of course, if you move to true rebuildables, you MUST build your own.

This horseshoe thingamabob? Ω

That's the Greek omega, stands for ohms, aka resistance. (And at least on a windows machine, if you hold alt, press 2,3,4 and release the alt key, you'll get it on screen.)

Thank you!

I am not sure when/if I will be able to build my own - but I would like to - at some point. The disposable coils will get expensive over time, and I like to save where possible. I also like the idea that I can re-wick (I think you call it) - aka change the cotton more often for a cleaner/smoother vape.

The guy in the shop told me the disposable coils should last about 2 weeks, but the last two I used only lasted about 1 week before the taste got harsh. The kit came with a re-buildable - so I may have to learn sooner, rather than later. ;)

Ω ... I suddenly picture a bunch of monks chanting ....

I've noticed that more and more juice is high or Max VG. I'm told that it's because of the trend toward low ohmage/higher wattage. Ok - but why? (This is not an "I'm kind of curious" question. I've been going lower with ohms and higher with watts, but am finding the high VG juice makes my lungs heavy.). Is there some reason that high VG juice is used with low ohms/higher watts? Thanks!

Oh! Manners, LB! Good morning, Porchers!
Morning Birdie! What David said. I messed around with percentages and anything above 20% VG just doesn't work for me. Makes it hard to breathe. Last night I saw the only juice I ever buy from a vendor, maybe once every eight months, has gone to 50/50. Won't be buying that again. Don't you love fads?
Yup, knew that. And that's why I couldn't understand an earlier post that they would take a scrip because they weren't taking new patients....
That's what they told my husband, "We aren't accepting any new patients." Turned out to be a huge favor to us because the next place was excellent but I'm still scratching my head over it.

I have been having problems with some of my Orchid bases, and have an order which includes two more that left Chicago. Last night I couldn't get the coil right-- like 6 ohms. Took the base apart, cleaned up the screw part on the post, put some Ox-Gard in the contact, scraped the top of the insulator where it had burned, and reassembled and rebuilt. Coil ohm was good, and burns good. Did the same thing to the other one, and the repair was successful there. I am thinking that it was cleaning the tops of the insulators that did the trick. Now I will have two spares for quick changes. Now four wraps of 30g on the Ockian screw (don't LOL), I might be ready to do duals soon.

Wow! I am SO impressed! Wouldn't even know where to start ... I'd prolly have just tossed the darn thing into the trash bin. You go, O Mg!

Woot! Is this your first REO, Kenna? For me, they are a whole new world! Can't wait to hear how you like it!

This "fad" makes me nervous. I understand cloud chasing; if that's what floats your boat (and keeps you off stinkies), have at it! But I'm afraid that vendors will forget about the rest of us, as LiPo packs, 200+ watt mods, and .1 ohm coils become even more prevalent. :w00t:

The high vg is just for more vapour.
Some think its safer but thats debatable.
Some think they're allergic to pg but I think more just think they are than actually are and most the time its probably something else causing any problems. Just like some people who think they're allergic to gluten but haven't had a test for celiacs.

So Flamingo your on what 75% pg ?

Did you just opt for the regular packaging? It's not the best option for glassware, but ok for more durable goods... (And unless they specify otherwise, glass is just glass, usually, NOT pyrex, which might have fared better.)

And 18 days from China isn't too bad.

Lots of variation on coil/head life, Inni. The particular flavor will have a lot to do with it. I prefer to "rate" based more on how many mls through it versus time. Heck, if you only vape 0.01 mls a day, a factory head could last months! :)

Aha! Knew it was someone here! So it seems that, at least at that one CVS, they don't fill prescriptions unless you're a patient of THEIRS???? As I said, BIZARRE!! Even if lucky for you!

0mg is rock'n troubleshooting her devices! That is so cool!

Yes, this is my first Reo. They've been calling to me since I first started researching vaping, especially the Woodville's. I just felt like I needed to get some experience under my belt before I went there. Proved right when I bought that Rig clone, & killed a Hana (moment of silence, please.). It was fun using it in the HO last night with a full audience to help with set up & wicking, & first squonk. I showed it to my mother this morning, showed her how it works, & told her it is my first Reo. She asked how many I need. My reply was "All of them." And according to oldbroad I was cloudchasing. Who knew? [emoji15]

When did the Kenna and Reo connection start ?
Lol! I've been looking at them & researching them since I started vaping. Finally figured out I was going to go there someday. Then thanks to oldbroad I got one in my hands. Wrong atty so couldn't vape it, but I could see & feel, & examine it closely. Saw this one on the classifieds & kept going back to it. Then she dropped the price, & threw in a Molehill Mountain custom matching dt & before I knew it I had done it! I wanted a special shiney to celebrate my big month this month so this is my version of special shiney.

80/20. That was pretty much the norm when I started, then the whole fad and cloud chasing thing took off. And yes, I do like having a decent, but not extreme cloud. I'm one of those that has to see it but I can with 80/20. I also agree with you that I think a lot of people think they have allergies, PG being the current popular one. I'm more inclined to believe that certain flavorings are their problem.

And the funny thing is, I see more people wanting to sort of go back to the "basics." Newer and so-called better really doesn't attract me. I'm happy for the people who do like it and are into it, but don't forget about us folks like the old plain and simple.
Once Deb started spreading the Reo gospel.
Was she wielding her frying pan at the time?

Wow! That's a really nice looking setup w/ the drip tip and all. I'm gonna go w/ 0mg and put Reo's on my ignore list or I could become a sqonker just 'cause it looks so nice.

I didn't even pay attention to upgrades shipping. And I didn't know the Taifun V2 came w/ a spare glass tank. The assembled tank is a poly tank. The support desk did say something about verifying their packaging to avoid this in the future. The Taifun kit was only in a small zippered cordura case ... not a box. The package was just a padded mailer. A couple boxes of other stuff in the package were slightly crushed too but the contents unaffected. The only real breakable item in the package was that glass tank.

I didn't mind the 18 day wait ... nothing was 'needed' ... it was mainly spare parts and tanks and some midcl. stuff. I'd wait again for the low prices I paid.

Good luck with that! I "ignored" the REO forum for months ... Now I have, well, let's use Watership Down math: hrair. :)
