Yes, those are gorgeous mods. Just as a personal preference, I like their form factor more. Got little hands.

:w00t: Warning

Had some Davide Minis that had been sitting around for a while and decided to clean them all up. Disassembled, rinsed, dropped in some vodka to soak and completely forgot about them for a couple of days. When I rinsed them off, the plating had been eaten of the center tubes on three out of four of them in a mottled pattern. They were fine going in. Three tanks down the drain in one day. :(
I use isopropyl 90% with no issues... Maybe use absolut next time?

Ouch! So sorry to hear this happened.

My Davides were good friends back in the day. I feel for you.

My budding vape-vert is going to buy Innokin Beginner Starter Kit - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes She is waiting to borrow the money from her father. The clearos are disposables, but she can buy more just over a block, and I can introduce her to better stuff later. She wants big clouds like I get, will be a bit disappointing for her. One baby step at a time.
I think it is great that you are taking her by the hand and guiding her down the proper path. I hope she doesn't get disillusioned by the baby steps. I stopped the cigs using an itaste VTR and Nautilus Mini. Now it has blossomed into a hobby of flavor chasing. Not cloud chasing, however, I do like a nice cloud every now and then. lol

That is great! Starting out that's a great kit. She's gotta start, learn & graduate to bigger & better.

Well, I just placed my first order for flavors to start my diy. I already have all the nic I was wanting for the freezer. Still have to get bottles for that. Since I just (finally) found a fruit flavor I like, & it's not a really complex combineation, I thought I'd start with a blueberry cream. I'm still short one of the blueberries I wanted (blueberry extra), & the bilberry that is supposed to add to the blueberry taste. But I got all the creams, & vanillas I wanted, & the sweetners, & blackberry, too. I got the smallest sizes of everything just to get started. And off I go!

I just got 8 more 13 ml bottles of Capellas flavorings today. $2.50 each at ecigexpress.

Just got a coupon code from HDV for 40% off CAP flavors.
lets see theirs is $3.79 for 10 ml so with 40% off it is 2.27 for 10 ml or .227 per ml vs .192 per ml at ecigexpress and ecigexpress is in original CAP bottles.
hmmm

Edit: And Ecigexpress just sent me a personal coupon code for another 10% off my next order :)

I got them from Wizard Labs so they are all TFA & a couple of Capella. I don't want to pay shipping for just 1 or 2 flavors from FA so they'll be on the menu for next month. I'm done with the vape budget this month. And it was a big one!
Oh! I went to Sally's Beauty Supply & got a pack age of little disposable lipstick brushes for like 3.50 to use for Deoxit on the Woodvil & to Home Deport for the Howard's mineral oil, too. Their website said they have the Feed & Wax at our store here, but the website lied. I know it's on Amazon, but I'll wait until I have an order worth the shipping. probably next month, since I need to get blunt needles, too. I have one 18 gauge that will work if I start all this this month.

Only did it to the tubes, no other parts. Been cleaning the with vodka for years and no problems. Don't even occur to me that there might be a problem soaking them. Maybe I'll try cheep beer next time.

I'm surprised as well. Although being immersed in vodka for a few days might be called a bender.... but there might be replacement parts for them?

I'll have to check that out. My son had a pack of cheapo paint brushes and I got one of those, but the lipstick brushes would be more compact I imagine.

They are a little pointy so I trimed one flat & a bit shorter so it would be stiffer. They have a little plastic sheath that slides down the handle to use the brush & then back up to cover the bristles after you've used it. I think there are 10 or 12 in a pavk. Should last quite awhile since they can be reused. Perfect for the contacts & batteries. It's just for the Deoxit.

What's Reo? (jk). I have a built-in aversion to anything that develops a cult (or occult) following. Can't help it, don't want to help it.... that's just the way I am.

I just thought the concept sounded good.
Something popular doesn't not always equal something good , listening to todays music tells me that.

I'm still waiting on my mod with the temp chip in it. Have started to read people using the temp with higher watts , think it has something to do with allowing higher watts but the temp preventing any burnt/harshness to the vape.

MFS just sent me a personal good customer 20% off code... And they now carry some CAP flavors $2.95 for 15 ml with 20% off that is good....
I've been bamboozled! MFS sent me a code for an "exclusive VIP discount" due to my "awesome purchase history", but it's only 15% off. Oh, sure, they SAY they love me, but obviously they love you more. :)

Couldn't MFS just tell me I stink, and include a 50% discount?

I'm partial to the Destroyer ... if or when the time comes.

It's a great mod, Mike, and feels wonderful in the hand. Cappy does beautiful work. But it doesn't squonk quite as easily ... Not that that keeps me from using it! :)

I told all y'all that I went over to the dark side ... Lol

Mornin' peeps!
