Response from Senator John Cornyn regarding my email attached to the current petition. I also got a response from House Rep. Pete Olsen.

Dear Ms. Neel:

Thank you for contacting me regarding the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). I appreciate having the benefit of your comments on this important issue.

As you may know, on April 24, 2014, the FDA issued a proposed rule that would extend new regulatory authority to e-cigarettes and various other tobacco products, including cigars, pipe tobacco, and nicotine gels. Under the proposed rule, these products would be subject to controls such as registration and product listing requirements, prohibition on providing free samples, and restrictions on marketing products prior to FDA review. Moreover, the proposed regulations would use February 15, 2007, as the grandfather date for newly deemed products, as established under the tobacco Control Act. The public comment period for this rule closed July 9, 2014, and a final rule was expected to be issued by June 2015.

On April 28, 2015, the FDA Deeming Authority Clarification Act of 2015 (H.R. 2058) was in introduced in the House of Representatives. This legislation would change the grandfather date for newly deemed tobacco products from February 15, 2007, to the date on which the FDA’s regulations are finalized. H.R. 2058 has been referred to the House Committee on Energy and Commerce for further consideration. Although no similar legislation has been introduced in the Senate, you may be certain that I will keep your views in mind should relevant legislation be considered during the 114th Congress.

I appreciate having the opportunity to represent Texas in the United States Senate. Thank you for taking the time to contact me.

Sincerely,

JOHN CORNYN

United States Senator

Thought it was worth a shot and went looking for their customer service page.

Customer Oriental Service

Customer First is all Anyvape people’s sprits. No manufacturer who can say there will be no quality issue. The difference is the solution attitude and method.

Who knows what I’d wind up with if I said I needed three new chimneys?

First, you may not qualify for that level of service. (Um, and may not want to. Just what the heck IS Oriental Service??)

You'd probably get 3 previously unemployed Oriental brick masons. :D

But many of the domestic outlets used to carry replacement glass, so maybe chimneys can be found?

Or could you start a thread in a PIF forum for donations? (Not entirely sure of the ECF rules on that...)
I got the email from MFS too and they only love me 15% too. Oh well, don't need anything right now anyway.

Yeah, only loved 15%, too. Just hope the other 85% is apathetic rather than antagonistic!

No cults for me. By the time I became indoctrinated, vaping had officially gone beyond cult status and had graduated to being a trend. In the ensuing 2.5 years vaping has climbed even higher to become a movement.

On a totally irrelevant topic, am I the only person who thinks the tilted winking smilie is a mean-spirited psychopath? :)
Not sure it's so much of a mean-spirited psychopath but it does look like it's taken too many drugs in its past.

"I will keep your views in mind," seems to be the new, noncommittal, political buzz phrase. Ticks me off. Why don't they have the brass to just say I will NOT be voting for it?

Get what you pay for when you use google translate. Really, I don't understand why these places don't invest a couple of bucks for a translator. Nothing like offending your customers right there on page one. It's okay, I use the larger ones mostly. Couple of places sell the glass but I've never seen a place that sells parts. Did a search for it and found nothing.

MFS gave me 17% off and I have only bought $25 from them in the last year... They must have an algorithm that figures out what discount it will take to get you back in the shopping mode...
I checked my email and found one for 20%, and I have not bought very much from them at all, so maybe it is to encourage those who don't spend much. However, I will not be using mine, so if someone wants it, pm me and I'll send it to you, first pm gets it.

The one with the dark tip is the one I trimmed & used. Ill leave it a ta longer next time.
thanks hun, just those are the ones I bookmarked.

Don't recall getting one from Pete Olsen, but pretty sure that was the same BS letter I got from Cornyn

Well I gotta say I'm impressed with Ti wire so far. Have had the same coils in for 2 weeks. They have the flavor of nickel or maybe even a little better. They seem to hold up like Kanthal. I'm just about due for a rewick and supposed to be able to run them under water with a soft brush and will come clean. So far they still taste great. You can't dry burn them or not supposed to causes titanium dioxide but its great having TC and longevity plus easier to wrap coils then nickel not as easy as Kanthal and so far have been using spaced although I made a contact coil and seemed to work well but wanted to do more investigation before I went to that. Seems to stay clean for a long time. Also I noticed that they taste better as they age a little. Also for me they work better in NI mode rather then Ti mode but either way you can get almost the same vape in Ni I use 275 14J and Ti about 460-470 14J so it's off either way. They hit temp pretty quickly. This is on the SXM and getting a similar vape to 390-400 14J with nickel wire. Also seems to be a lot less finicky then NI200

Good for you Legs ... you've certainly put in the time getting there. Nice to hear its finally paying off.

Me ... I've been running the same nickel coil for about 3 months now. When it starts tasting 'off', I pull the wick and do an 'easy' dry burn. Just pulse the coil 'till the gunk turns to ash. I don't really 'glow' it. Then rinse w/ water, brush lightly with a toothbrush and rewick. Resistence is staying stable at its starting point, so I see no need to recoil.

oh duhhhh jup that makes sense. Didn't know who the other guy was.

I need a hex wrench for an atty with grub screws. I was told it was a 1.5, but it's not. I need something smaller. Can anyone help?
Which atty is it? I just checked my atomic clone, it has phillips head screws. My nuppin and I think the cyclone use .9 but some use other sizes.

Yum! I did some experimenting and found a great vape. I did a Blackberry in 75pg 25vg and it is wonderful. I do believe I have found my new ADV. :w00t::vapor:
oh kewl, I've never tried a blackberry. Will have to do that at some point.

Knowing specifics on the atty would help. Might then be able to find the size needed on line somewhere?

Older folks shouldnt vape on the front porch... your neighbors are watching ;)

Maybe they'll learn something...

And who let those kids on the lawn, anyway??

I've read

.035" cyclone and most authentic 14mm attys

.050 anything with m2.5 grubs (very long list)

1/16" 4-40 grubs

M2 grubs= .035"

M2.5 grubs= .050"

M3 grubs = 1.5mm

4/40 grubs= 1/16 or .063"

M2 hex cap screws= 1.5mm

M2.5 hex cap screws= 2mm
