Alaskan in Louisiana
Where is over yonder If I may ask?
If none of my business then no problem ;)

Well I think of Alaska as my home. I lived there for 30 years. Moved to a little rural town that no one would know the name of anyway in Louisiana abou 4 years ago. We moved here because I had some family here. Now I don't. My mother passed away. Hubby got laid off in March of this year after 19 years working in the oil industry so we can't go back, at least not yet. :)

Thank you. Well he went to Arkansas State University and got his CDL. He graduated Sept 4. He has been hired by a company out of North Little Rock. He starts Sept 28th. I don't like that he will be gone a lot but it's a job and we are blessed to have that :)

And with the internet and cell phones and such he can keep in touch good while on the road. I lived and worked on the road for 5 years installing Telecom equipment. Kinda sucks but if it pays the bills...

If y'all have access to wifi while he's on the road Google Hangouts is free. You could stay in touch better. You can do video calls for as long as you please. We have a HO for the Porches & someone is there most of the time. If you go there in your pj's & don't want to be seen it let's you turn off the camera function & just talk. It lets up to 10 people in at a time. There is a phone app, too, if only one of you has access to a computer. I like it better than Skype.

Looking around quickly I couldn't find a better US price than this, and I can recommend this seller from personal experiences:
XTAR VP4 (Quad-Bay Charger) | Sun-Vapers San Diego

FT is only $2 cheaper.
Bells, thank you! I think it was RTD that I was trying to remember. Price is the same either way. FT? No way for a charger, lol. Now just have to see who has something else I might want to stuff into the package.
OOPS! Sorry about the cactus in the flowerbed. ouch and no Iffy did not fix it. Need some tweezers here.
Well, somethings are more of a priority than others.

Check out the forum at "truckers report.com" A guy by the nick "Chinatown" is very knowledgeable about Local and OTR companies all over the USA and can likely help your hubby find a decent regional/local job. Just start a thread in the new drivers forum. A lot of helpful people there!
Best to you...

I was looking around some more and this site offered a 10% off code in a pop-up window, in return for me supplying my email address. I don't know what they charge for shipping but they're located in California. Same $40 pre-discount price as everybody else. The code, I think, was Sept10 but I forgot to make an indelible mental note of it so not positive.

Welcome GlacierBabe! I have seen you on a few other threads I follow. The porches are the BEST, however, so glad you joined us here!

Thank you, @clnire You guys have made me feel very welcome. I'm looking forward to getting to know you all. Likewise, I've seen you too. It's nice.

He doesn't vape or smoke so he's not on the forums but it should be ok for him to join and watch that one I would think. Thank you guys so much for being so kind and helpful. :)

Oh wait. This is a whole different site. DUH! I just told him about it and he is going to join. Thanks again.

Grumble, grumble, grumble.

I hate RBAs when I'm trying to build, wick, and attach a coil. I love RBAs when the work is done and I'm happily vaping away.

I'm TRYING to build a coil in my Taifun right now. Grrrrrrr.
I need to mod some more T3/Evod coil heads. I did 4 to see if I liked them and now I will mod some more cause I like em.
Drill out bottom pin and top stem. enlarge wick slot to 2 mm and wind some 2mm 1.4 ohm coils. Think I will wind coils tonight and drill tomorrow on my drill press. Can't find my itty bitty file set anywhere. Have to get more tomorrow...
