I posted the following comment on the Consumer Reports article:

I smoked 50 to 60 cigarettes per day for 44 years and had accepted that smoking was going to kill me. I've been diagnosed with COPD since 2005. I tried vaping in early February 2013 and went back to smoking less than 24 hours later. I spent the next 2 weeks thinking about the technique of vaping, because it is not the same as smoking. I tried vaping again on Feb 16 2013, and I have not smoked even one cigarette since then. My health, especially my breathing and lung function, has improved dramatically and my doctor is thrilled that I quit smoking.

For 5 weeks in 1988 I stopped smoking using Nicorette nicotine gum. I was broody, moody and pretty agitated during that time and it was a relief to resume smoking. Other than that, the only times since 1969 that I did not smoke were during two three-day hospital stays. One of those was for a collapsed lung caused by smoking in 2011 but I resumed smoking as soon as I was discharged.

Through online groups, I've met thousands of people who were able to successfully quit smoking by vaping. I do not feel like I sacrificed anything when I replaced smoking with vaping. Rather, I feel like I found something better than smoking.

Also couldn't stop myself when I got an email from VapeRev. Ordered this for $40.04 including shipping. It will be my first TC mod that has Ti mode. Available in black too, but I ordered the silver one.

I'm so happy you were able to quit smoking, Bells! You would not be here with us if you hadn't, & might not be anywhere else, either! Congratulations!

Very nice, well-written testimonial, Bells. So glad you are still with us! :)
Label , write all over things Flamingo :)
I did, with a big fat Sharpee. Got all blown away that the bottle had been in there for two years, didn't think I'd ordered any that long ago, and forgot to read the strength--which was very clearly labeled. Embarrassing.

And, no doubt, invigorating!

Great, thank you 2legsshrt ! I also appreciate you sharing your knowledge on flavors, I am confident I will have some real keepers in that last order I made, if you should ever need anything out of my little vape/flavor/toy collection don’t hesitate to ask my friend!

Hey Legs, how's my neighbor ... been spending a lot of time over at the Samaritan Hosp. (hubby)
HS Juicey Peach is good too ... most of the "Peach" flavors I've tried from other company's taste "green" and/or bitter .. HS has a true ripe peach flavor.
Also, given a chance, try the Inawera Shisha Strawberry :hubba:
Sorry you have to deal with Bakers direct... The Chocolate Truffle SCG, and the Coffee Mocha SCG are about the only SCG flavors I have to have, so it's easier to pick them up from VG (when in stock)

Of all the Desert Ships out there, HS has the best.
You may like the Highway like AlterUrEgo says, and also try the Indian  yummy

You have good taste :p
I have 8 of the HS tobaccos, and I love each of them ... sure can't say that about any other company.
Usually I like one or two from each company, but trying the HS tobaccos was like hitting the Jackpot
I don't care for any of the strong "in your face", ashy, grassy or green tobacco flavors like everyone else puts out.
Back to lurk'n ... (hi Deb :pervy: )

Good to see ya Slots and best wishes for everything to work out well for you and the hubby.

Well done Bells - both the comment you left and your victory over the smokes.

Got out to my mailbox this evening to pick up the pair of Kanger Subtank RBA v2 that have been out there since Monday.

The screw that holds the housing is probably the smallest screw I've ever seen. Lost one already. Chances of finding it are not good. I think I may have inhaled it. I went ahead and used the head with the screw missing since it's a VERY tight friction fit even without the screw.

Built a titanium coil with just 3 wraps, 0.16 ohms. It's working fine but I need to make another with more wraps to get more vapor.

The teeny little instruction sheet that comes in the teeny RBA box is pretty funny too, but since it's all pictures it's actually visible.

Just now got the time to relax and read this without interruptions, great article! I think everyone can identify with the learning curve, a very good thing to drag out in the open! And the nic gum was a complete failure for so many people, I am surprised it is still on the market.

Congratulations to you and your loved ones, glad you decided to stick around!
And yeah I checked out the link, Bite My Lip!

Today it's been 950 days since my last cigarette. On Nov 13 it will be 1000 days. I've put it on my calendar to celebrate.

hey, hey, our 'milestone' dates are close ... Nov 14 will be 4 years for me.
