yeah, I know it's pretty small ---- hope you find it---run a strong magnet everywhere and see if you can find it that way?
Clearly you have no concept of the clutter on an around my computer desk. :)

I just took apart the second of my new rba heads and unlike the first one, the housing separately easily from the base after the screw was loosened just one turn.

Thank you. I've mostly stopped checking my email since I've been in the hospital. It's really bad. So, thanks for letting me know.

Now, that's a tiny screw!
Yeah everything is tiny on that one! Thats why I posted last week asking for advice on a nice rba to play with. Had to get a fun one to make up for the subtank mini, lol. Love the flavor though.

Well, if everything sticks to the magnet, then so will the screw :w00t:

It's good the other one came off easy -- I'm sure you will find it -- eventually?

I repeat, you have no concept. It's a lot more likely to get eaten by the vacuum than to be found, and it's too tiny to make an audible cry for help if the vacuum gets it.

If the vacuum gets it, it will make a little rattling noise. Then the vacuum will fling it 3 feet in a random direction.

The screw would have to be at least 100 times as big for my vacuum to fling it instead of eating it. Seriously... if your vacuum couldn't swallow this screw it can't pick up anything at all. You also could not break a window with this screw even if you fired it from a gun, or it could end up going through the window without breaking it, by threading its way through the silica atoms. Methinks you're not understanding how small the screw is.

I have a solution ---- just don't vacuum until it is found :w00t:
It may take a year or so in which time your place may get a tad funky but at least you may find the screw :w00t:

But, but... I've already gone over a year without vacuuming!

you should understand this basic law of physics.......any screw no matter size, will get flung by a vacuum! Period lol and.....we did figger the window was OPEN hehehe

Well, I only have a fairly cheap 20 year old Hoover 2000 TurboPower upright vacuum from Sears. It's in good shape though because it's only been used for a handful of hours in those 20 years. However, it lacks the ability to fling things. It either leaves things where they are, eats them, or gets them stuck in its craw. If it tries to pick up something with its hands (the rotating brush) that's too heavy to lift to it's mouth, it can only throw it against the bottom of the vacuum cleaner head where it will drop down to the floor again.

You people with vacuums that throw things need to contact a repair professional. Lawn mowers throw things, properly functioning vacuum cleaners do not. You sure you're not confusing your leaf blower with your vacuum cleaner? If you're sure you're talking about your vacuum, then it's time to change the bag.
