Quick question about the Boge cartomizers. Do they have a "poly fill" taste at all? I'm deciding what I want to order for June. I had one pack of the Joye cartomizers but no syringe so I had to use the condom method and fill them from the bottom, but overall they haven't been bad. Since I'm having issues with my atomizers, I think June will be carto month for me, and trying to decide which of these 2 types I want to go with as my mainstay for June.

Thanks all - you're all wonderfully helpful! :)

I have never noticed any poly taste with the boges...I still have some and use them from to time..

Right now I am using the CE4+ and I really like them very much..

I just bought some of the CE5+ re-buildable cartos and they vape good but waiting to see how the are to re-build..

Thank you wendallb. I just last week tried a clearomizer, although I'm sure it was not CE4+

Here is the one I got - I'm not sure how they differ:
Vision EGO Clearomizer -V2 (Sorry I'm not sure how you all make links look better than mine)

thanks that help clear some up.
Still CE4 CE5 how do you know and what is the difference?

    Thanks again

I really don't know about these yet, but I had looked at the CE5 earlier from a link someone posted. I'm not sure what the difference would be in the one I got and the CE4+ (except it looks like the CE4 holds more than mine), but apparently the CE5 one is bebuildable

The CE4+ is just about the same thing I think..

On the CE5+ you can replace the center working parts.. CE5 rebuildable core

thanks Now I understand to the best of my ability.
    I like the rebuild part.

I do too - was just checking that out a little bit more. I'm pretty much all thumbs when trying to put tiny things together, but I think my hubby could handle rebuilding one for me with little trouble. I might try these, as the one I got was pretty enjoyable until it started getting that funny taste about the 3rd day.

Well I am mechanically challenged. I do software , but hardware is tricky for me. even simple stuff. Sometimes my wife looks at me when I get confused with hardware, like you smart whats the problem.

but the rebuild looks simple enough even for me.

Thanks Mike. I've been looking at the Boge cartomizers it seems everyone talks about. Not sure what other juice holders would last longer? I was really excited about the tank system because they are so quick and hassle free to fill. Just seems like it won't be very budget friendly keeping tank atomizers is what I'm finding. I'm starting to wonder if that might be because the liquid I chose as my favorite is all VG. Any advice on that part?

If you're using the pre-punched cartos and 100%VG, you probably need to enlarge the carto feed hole due to the 'thick' VG viscosity.

I've seen people mention punching cartos in their reviews, but I just don't know at all what that means. I saw someone else posted an idea about thinning with distilled water. I have some of that, so I may give that a try. Thanks so much for helping me :)

I don't personally use any of the Visions or CE3's, 4's or 5's. I do use Boge carto's in traditional tanks. They carto's can last 2x-4x times longer, likely because they are alway damp with juice and the filler doesn't get burned when vaping a low carto. That by the way, is a good hint when using carto's. Top them off frequently to avoid burning the filler.

As to punching your own carto's. Many people like using a plumbing pipe tap. Line the carto under the pointed screw and turn the screw to pierce the carto. The can be gotten cheap from ebay and a little more at you local H/W store.

And for a bit more money, this style. I used this type for awhile, for me it was a little easier to use.

I think my problem with trying to put tiny things together is poor eyesight combined with impatience hehe

I have been vaping for around two years. Started out with vapor4life. Have used the ego when it first came out, but I work in the oil field and it did not survive. I have a golden Greek, a reo grand, and now a lava tube on order. I have learned to mix my own juices with great success. I have even converted several of my co workers to vaping. Some of them are over 50. Age doesn't matter. It is all in your mind set, and wanting a healthier alternative to enjoying nicotine. I have definitely found my alternative, and hope everyone else that has the desire to is also successful.

Yup...those are what people refer to as a CE4 - or Stardust - or eTurbo - or iTurbo. There are new versions coming out now with a stronger plastic tube that is not as prone to hairline cracks (often from overtightening, or certain juices). These are called CE4+ or V2, or V3. The CE5+ is "rebuildable"....but I just got some and my rebuilding project turned into broken clearomizer...lol. This was Version 1....looks like Version 2 will have screw in replaceable heads.....much better design. I personally prefer the stardust type device and think the boges (or any carto) have a totally nasty taste.....but that's just me (although many agree with me).

Hi Elbert and thanks for the welcome. Yep, I know exactly what you mean - that "something" that ties us to the real thing, I have it too. But it has become less, so I'm feeling like that is a good thing. My progress is slow, but it IS there :)

I just tried something that worked reasonably well regarding the issue with the top of my lungs .
I took a long draw , but whe I inhaled I just pulled in to the top of my lungs and after a few draws the empty feeling was 2/3 full.
Im using some 555+a little RY4 and flue cured with some VG added.
