Finally Saturday and I need a day of rest. I'm looking forward to doing absolutely nothing today as the yardwork is done and no chores are high priority. The 2nd Epower kit and a 3 pack of Resurrector cartos came in from CCV yesterday so I am well stocked at the moment. This is a great combo and I'm really satisfied with the performance and I have 8 spare batteries and 2 good chargers to keep everything ready to go. I've dabbled with the VV thing but I'm really happy with Resurrector's at 3.7 volts with the juice(s) i use. Yeah, I know I'm an idiot for not having multiple Provari's but I reckon I'll just stay an idiot.

Big juice order from ECBlends is due in Monday and I'm looking forward to expanding my horizons a bit. My 3 go to juices right now are Cherry Coke, Caramel Apple, and RY4 and I rotate between them as the mood strikes - vaping RY4 on an Epower in a Resurrector right now. The person I converted at my office is now 12 days smoke free and it makes me feel really good to know I helped him with his journey. He had a mini crisis yesterday as his 2nd battery shorted out and he was down to a single battery heading into the weekend. He uses an eGo clone from Liberty-Flights and they are going to replace the bad battery but having 1 battery with no backup is a bad thing. Thankfully, I had a spare eGo 900 mah battery in my case so I loaned it to him until his replacement come in.

What is really cool is this fella has converted 2 more folks so we know have 4 vapers in my office!!! They all look to me to keep leading the way and I'm happy to do so...

I live in Michigan, and here's my story. After smoking for over 40 yrs, I decided to give the ecig a try. About a month ago I purchased one at the gas station. Not so good. About a week later I bought a diff one. Still not so good. My husband noticed a coworker using an ecig. He asked a lot of questions. We looked up the brand and all the reviews were all positive. My husband ordered a kit for me. I really like them. Unfortunately, a week later I'm switching netween analogs and the ecig. Throughout my life I tried to quit. I did manage to quit for short times. I can't wait to dump my real cig. In Michigan tjey have changed something about analogs. Now the box says FSC. Fire safety cigarettes. They are made to go out automatically if you dare to set them in an ashtray. You have to smoke like a crazy fool or you end up buying more cause they go out very quickly then you end up relightling the stub you have left. You end up buying more than you used to. No worries with ecig, thank goodness

Welcome to the thread and congratulations on the progress you're making. If the eCigs even help you cut down on the analogs you're doing good! Many people bounce back and forth before they finally let go. After 40 years it's not surprising. Relax and enjoy the journey. There's lots of good info here and lots of support if you have any questions.

Hi mommywoman and welcome :) I'm new here too, and the folks are just fabulous! I agree with what BacsiBob said, as I have found my craving for analogs becoming less and less over the last month or so. It shocks me that most of the time I don't care for one at all now! Being in the forum and reading the posts daily has been a great motivator and source of encouragement for me.

Now I'm thinking more about all the vaping goodies I can buy instead of wasting money on analogs! Woohoo!:banana::banana: Even on a small budget vaping can be SO enjoyable! YIPPEEE!!! :vapor::vapor:

Okay ya'll...I got my Boge carto's yesterday and just got the chance to fill and begin using one about 10 minutes ago. Mine crackles pretty loudly LOL. So far no poly fill taste, yay!

Ooooh, and I almost forgot - I have a new question. Someone here said they drip over a carto. Wouldn't the juice just go right down the middle hole and out the bottom onto the battery? Or is it a different type of carto used for dripping?

Yes, you have to do it at an angle. Juice down the middle hole is a bad thing... LOL

Thanks so much. I was wondering about this because I also got a drip tip. I have to remove that first right? And then hold it at an angle, and drip until the top looks "slushy". Rotate it between drips to keep it even...

Right? LOL, sorry everyone...this is all new and fun to me!

I do love that crackling sound. It tells me that everything is right with the world. Well maybe not the whole world :p but it does tell me that both my battery and carto are working at peak performance so it is a good thing.

For some of the newer people, this is a short YouTube video of an easy way to fill a new blank cartomizer. If you hear someone use the term condom method this is what the person is referring to.

When I use this method I usually wipe down the sides of the carto before using it. Also depending on how thick the juice is that I'm using, I take my time pushing the carto down into the juice. It takes a little practice but it's been very effective for me.

Yes, there's nothing like the snap, crackle, pop of a happy carto!! I have an RSM Destroyer with a tank inset, and I can't seem to enjoy it because it masks the sound.

Here's an interesting study on youtube done by Dr. Konstantinos Farsalinos, Cardiologist at Onassis Cardiac Center Athens. He covers smoking and vaping effects on cardiac function and coronary flow. presentation starts at 30:34:00, comparison starts at 1:13:00. I know it's long, but there is some fabulous information to arm ourselves when folks nasay our vaping. Please pass this on.
