I talked to my maintenance man today..He is still smoking..However he has gone from a pk a day..to 8pks in the last 60days:)
That's 1040 cigs avoided!..He said he is at the point now when he lights up..He wonders why..It tastes really nasty..
He really liked the Peppermint joose I made..and wants me to make him more:D
It feels really good..Knowing your helping someone improve their life:D

A side note his wife was just an occasional smoker..Since she got her kit..she only vapes.

Hey y'all ! Just got back from an overnight run to TN (near Knoxville). Hit a little snow in NC Smokey Mtn but nothing to be worried over. Heard WV got pounded, thoughts and prayers to our friends in the NorthEast. Originally from MD, called Mom and she said everything was OK with her and Aunt Gloria. Anyways- when I left out early Tues Morning I left a new Twist / T3 setup filled and upright. Just got back and not a sign of any leakage, still hitting cool and smooth. For what it's worth I got this setup at Stormy's Vapor Cellar. Heard they are top-shelf. T3's were $6.50 each, think they have replacement 'coils' (looks like entire bottom assmy to me) for $3.50. It's my first clearo so I have nothing to compare it to, maybe some of the more seasoned vaporheads (no offense) can help out there. Doubt this thing could handle the beating a big Truck dishes out, though, so it'll have to be my at-home PV !

Wow Mul, that's really fantastic! He's very lucky to have you to talk to about vaping and you can pat each other on the back! I'm sure he's going to tell someone else about it - and so it goes. vape On!!

Awesome write up with your usual excellent pics!

Looks like a vapor machine. That's impressive. Nice bennie with the juice color. I take it the coil has no center 'tube'. How many more wicks do ya think ya can make with what ya have left?

I need to gather some patience and give the 500 a try. Just haven't been in the mood to go MacGyver. Maybe with the cooler weather I'll spend more time inside.

Thanx for your report. Please keep us posted on your experiments. Again, awesome job!

Iff, if I make more of these really fat wicks (100-120mm x 35mm) I can get 3 more with some left over. If I made smaller ones to fit inside the insulator at about 50-60mm x 35mm I can likely get 8 more out of what I have left. I figure I can easily get a month from a wick and likely 2 months. The one I replaced was a month old and was still re-useable. I just wanted to try a 'fat 500'.

Kiko I use Dekang menthol and also menthol from MtBakerVapor which I usually buy 36mg and cut it in half it with Pg. USA Made Nicotine Juice, E Juice, E Liquid, Electronic Cigarette Juice Ends up to cost about 10.00 for 100 ml

This is the cheapest I've found for Dekang e-liquid E-Liquids 8.99 for 50 ml L get the 24 mg and cut it with 1/4 pg so it is about 18.00 for 150 ml.

MBV's Menthol: your referring to the regular "Menthol" - not another name right? Menthol E Juice Baker Vapor - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes
When you do your cuts do use any VG at all? Or do find the vapor is still pretty good when cut? Is this a "tobacco menthol"? Do you get extra flavor shots? Dah - maybe this is the menthol I got that I like - perhaps I need to try it with out all the extra flavor! Have to check my receipt! Blank now ...

Dekang: holy cow! That's quite a good buy w/o complete DIY Thank you! Bunches!

This sounds like the place for me.I'm new to the forum.Started smoking at 8 and was at a pack a day by 12. I'm 51 now and it's high time to quit. Besides the fact that if cigs don't kill me,my doctor will. I've tried a half-dozen of the cigarette type ecigs and none would satisfy. Last week I picked up a Veppo Vetta with the tank system, and I LOVE it. I get the 25mg strength of juices, and it's really doing the trick. Once I learned to "play" the button,I can get a good satisfying hit. Thought about trying the 36mg,but I'm thinking that might be dangerous to my health. Any thoughts on that would be greatly appreciated.
Vape on,Dude!! :vapor:

Hi hrferic, Sounds like your of to a good start on your vapin' journey. Welcome to the thread and I hope you to more of you here. Looks like you and Fran are earlier birds. Me I'm just finishing up my 2nd cup of coffee. Oh - if you like the Vetta batt and tank combo, as questions before buying more. There are similar setups at better prices available.

Welcome hrferic! Sounds like you're making a successful switch from the ciggies. There's a lot of choices out there in equipment and juices to choose from and most of us have found the journey of discovering them has been quite enjoyable. Some people will start out with a high nic level like 25 - 36, but if 25 seems to be doing the trick for you why go to 36? Your body is going to have to adjust to not having all the chemicals pouring in. I vaped like crazy in the beginning, but that tapered off after awhile.

I'd never heard of the Veppo before so I just went to their site. This set up looks to be much more expensive than what you can get elsewhere. You might want to check out the eGo batteries that are available through a lot of different vendors. The Veppo looks like it's the same thing. Vendors who sell the eGo also sell what Veppo calls the "clear tank". We all find the PV devices that we're comfortable with and through these threads help each other find best prices and let others know about new PVs that they've tried.

If you have any questions this is a good place to come because we're a friendly bunch and you'll always find somebody here who has answers and would be happy to point you in the right direction.

Hi hr...I was smoking 1.5ppd when I found vaping. Menthol light 100's. I started at 24mg of nic but was soon down to 18 because I hit it hard and heavy. In less than one month I stopped using tobacco. It wasn't long before I started making my own juice and I'm making it 12mg now. I still vape a lot and I have tried quite a few delivery systems.

For every cig you don't smoke, you'll have +/- $0.30 to spend on vaping. I am now at the point where I'm saving money but even if it cost more I'd do it because I feel better.
