Hi hr...I was smoking 1.5ppd when I found vaping. Menthol light 100's. I started at 24mg of nic but was soon down to 18 because I hit it hard and heavy. In less than one month I stopped using tobacco. It wasn't long before I started making my own juice and I'm making it 12mg now. I still vape a lot and I have tried quite a few delivery systems.

For every cig you don't smoke, you'll have +/- $0.30 to spend on vaping. I am now at the point where I'm saving money but even if it cost more I'd do it because I feel better.

The perfect reason to stick with it!!!!!!!!!!!

MBV's Menthol: your referring to the regular "Menthol" - not another name right? Menthol E Juice Baker Vapor - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes
When you do your cuts do use any VG at all? Or do find the vapor is still pretty good when cut? Is this a "tobacco menthol"? Do you get extra flavor shots? Dah - maybe this is the menthol I got that I like - perhaps I need to try it with out all the extra flavor! Have to check my receipt! Blank now ...

Dekang: holy cow! That's quite a good buy w/o complete DIY Thank you! Bunches!

I usually use 100% PG when I cut the Menthol but sometimes use 50/50. I just find the Vg to be more of a hassle because it is so thick. I was talking about the regular menthol at MBV. I ordered some of the ice this time to see what it is like. I usually get a couple of extra shots if I'm going to cut it in half. The menthol is pretty strong though and I have cut it without extra shots and it is still strong enough for me. I would try some small bottles first to see if it works for you being as we are all different when it comes to juice. I usually try a 15 ml bottle at 18 mg first to see if I like it and then order it in 50 ml at 36 mg if I like it.

That is interesting and the first time I've seen it. It looks like a VW with three buttons and either a mini or 18650. It should be a good seller at those prices if it is dependable. Looks like we are going to have lots of VW PV's on the market soon. Do you know who is making it?

I see they are sold out and I can see why at those amazing prices.

This sounds like the place for me.I'm new to the forum.Started smoking at 8 and was at a pack a day by 12. I'm 51 now and it's high time to quit. Besides the fact that if cigs don't kill me,my doctor will. I've tried a half-dozen of the cigarette type ecigs and none would satisfy. Last week I picked up a Veppo Vetta with the tank system, and I LOVE it. I get the 25mg strength of juices, and it's really doing the trick. Once I learned to "play" the button,I can get a good satisfying hit. Thought about trying the 36mg,but I'm thinking that might be dangerous to my health. Any thoughts on that would be greatly appreciated.
Vape on,Dude!! :vapor:

I just started recently as well and am at 24mg with some 30mg for when I'm wall crawling.:w00t:

Good luck! Welcome!

Okay - I know what variable voltage is and what it does with my juice delivery systems. What the heck is variable wattage? What will it do to my vaping experience?

Variable wattage allows you to set the wattage you like and nomatter what resistance your carto is the wattage and hit will be the same. So if you switch from a 1.5 ohm carto to a 3 ohm carto it will automatically adjust the voltage to give you the same wattage or same hit. If you have a juice you like at a higher voltage you can adjust the wattage just like you do with a VV. I leave mine at 7.5 W most of the time unless I'm experimenting with a different juice. It seems like most prefer 7-8 watts but others that normally like LR at higher voltage may use it at 9 or 10 watts. The ZMax will let you go all the way to 15 Watts although I haven't heard of anyone that goes that high but there probably is someone who does.

Well I've been using my new ZMax for three days now and I'm sure glad I didn't sell it. lol After I took the time to learn how to use it I'm really liking it a lot. The VW option is pretty awesome and is all I use now.

I'm so glad you like it and happy for you that you got the revised one. I'm still loving mine. :)

YuP! That is reason enough! While I've been tempted to say the heck with it (2 new twists died at the ripe old age of 40-45 days) I couldn't go back ...

LOL! I have that straight menthol w/ 5 extra shots! Could be why 1 drop is enough in an entire clearo! It just doesn't help up the nic level at that rate! I ordered 24mg so I could cut it in half - which is why I figured I'd get all the extra flavor at the get go. With the SI regulated batts I notice a less vapor if I don't add a bit of VG. I would guess the menthol / peppermint types probably are like cooking w/ spices: you don't necessarily have to double the flavor just cuz you doubled the recipe!
If your referring to Extreme ICE - that one had a bit too much wintergreen for me (again - 5 extra shots ...)

I just started recently as well and am at 24mg with some 30mg for when I'm wall crawling.:w00t:

Good luck! Welcome!
So - what size suction cups do you use? :D

WELCOME HR! If you have questions - you'll get more answers than you can shake a stick at. Just be sure to padlock the wallet and toss the key while reading here! It can be V-E-R-Y dangerous ... :vapor:

JUST CURIOUS: when I smoked stinkies I never went anywhere w/o mints. Now I keep forgetting them ... anyone else notice goofy things like that?

The prize was a Handle. It's like the gripper.

SWEET!

Now I got to figure out how to use it.

Any helpful hints?

First off, I think it's an 808 thread. So be sure to have a 808/510 adapter if ya have 510 joose devices.

Oh yeah, one caution... Be mindful of what the voltage is set to. I've inadvertently 'bumped' the voltage up and got a couple of 'surprises'!!

I'm very fond of da Gripper... got three. Enjoy!

Wow, if this this is 'good' it'll give the more expensive Zmax a run for its money.

That's good news Sir - so glad it's working our well for you. By the by, I'm checking out another co-op for a Zmax clone w/ the latest features of the Zmax. It's looking promising. Price point is real good too.

i just won the V4l contest.:banana::banana::banana::banana:

Got my answer Fran about Fusion and Platinum PUNCH! carto's from IKV. They both work fine with Smoketech DCT tanks. They have two small holes pre-punched. I'm using the Fusion w/ 50/50 pg/vg and it's wicking just fine.

It's kind of like back to basics. The Fusion's flavor and vapor rivals my geny RBA's and there's a lot less fuss and muss. (and $$$).
