Question for the veteran DIY folks. I got my kit and there sure are a lot of droppers, measuring cups,
more droppers and a syringe. I inspected each item and it seems like it's ten different routes to the same
destination. Couldn't you just get by with the syringe?
I'm not much of a veteran because I've only been DIYing for a couple months, but this is what I use all the time -
I initially bought more than I needed, but I think that's usual for a lot of people. You'll find what works for you. I had gotten a bunch of 5ml syringes, but found that the 10 ml ones were more useful. I got a set of 3 sizes of glass beakers that come in handy so I'm not filling the syringes multiple times and mostly use the 50 and 80 ml ones most. I use a small glass to fill with water for cleaning out the syringe after each use and I have a funnel or 2 for filling bottles. I also got an assortment of small plastic bottles for mixing new creations.
Tiny little disposable droppers come with my flavors and I use them for just adding a couple drops of things, but I've also used the syringe to do that. (Just make sure the plunger works smoothly or you'll end up with a squirt instead of drops.)
I noticed that the VG tends to suspend itself in the PG so I have a tiny little whisk that seems to help get it mixed thoroughly in the beaker, but you could just shake the bottle really well to mix.
I'm mostly making 30 to 60 ml of juice at a time so these things work best for me, but you would want larger containers to mix larger amounts.
