Torch? Now you're scaring me!! Mike I have no idea what Skype is. LOL

It's like the modern version of .... Tracy's watch for your computer.

edit: I don't believe the ECF censor machine removed Mr. Tracy's first name and substituted 4 dots

Smoked since I was 15, now 58. Just switched to e-cigs a little over 2 weeks ago. Had a 3 year period when I did not smoke at all. It started for me when a relative had a BluCig he was vaping. I went and bought one to try out. It was good for my first time. Then went to a local smoke store and got the Choice 7's starter kit. I like it and will use it for a while. Purchased an additional battery, e-liquid, a couple of atomizers and blank cartridges. I did not have much info to go on initially but have learned a lot by browsing the web for info. When one of the batteries dies I will probably get a 510 or the 7's hybrid.

You're off to a good start 73 - any PV that keeps you away form the cigs is a good PV. Welcome to the thread, if there's anything we can do to answer questions and help you - we're here for that. Make yourself comfortable here, lots of good folks willing the share and help.

ya'll brought back memories talking about Skype. My daughter and her hubby "saw each other" (as in courting lol) over skype for about the first 2 1/2 years of their relationship. He is Austrian and met her here on a business trip.

He always spent the holidays "with" us via Skype. At times, it could get pretty comical. Like the time my son walked into the house on Christmas eve, walked into the Living room and my now son-in-law greeted him hehe. My son had never heard of skype before that, nor used a webcam or the internet. My daughter would always carry the laptop from room to room with her so he could hang out with us and participate. Skype is the bestest thing since sliced bread. They've been married 4 years and he has lived here in America for bout 3 years now :)

I was looking at some of the RBA threads, got curious about what they were talking about (AGA-Tiamat, Phoenix, etc.), and went looking at these things at some vendor sites. I stumbled upon some dripping atties, and I'm in love!

Such beauty and simplicity! I really, really like the Choice RBA at DV!

Who knows? Maybe I will give this a try after all.

    But, a torch?!

Oh crap!!! Sorry to hear that.

Yes everywhere I say anything about DIY almost always said "keep good notes" and I did just wish I did in 2 places....l

@Ken62 Thanks Ken for the peppermint and really had a good laugh on the silly putty comparison. I agree with you on that one!

@Kat56 I was wondering on the % used for the peppermint mix. Order some today along with 3 samples of Nic juice. Still have not decided on a manual batt. Looking for one that goes 3.7v. The gg clone is still appealing!

@Racehorse Thanks for the new places to look never knew they existed. deifantely have to give them a look see!

@Janet H;8477525]Do not worry about the time it took to get back to me. I was working anyway and decided to jump on th ecomputer this morning or my evening before going to bed! Your input means a lot to me as you and Mike are always giving the good and the bad with your posts! After smoking and being in the military (plus the extra trips to the Middle East) I am lucky to be able to smell anything!
I have been reading posts like a madman at work since found out that I can read posts at work on my breaks. Everyone's input on what to read have been HUGELY appreciated by yours truly!

@MikeE3 I was able to get in on the Sigelei Stainless Steel ZMax with OLED & Option 8 Coop. I made several trips to the Provari site and loaded the cart, but never pulled the trigger. If the Sigelei does not work I will! I agree with Old C you should do a video or is helping you clean out the attic still on the table for a personalized class???

    @Rat Welcome aboard!

@ Iffy - Thanks for the laughs I really needed them this morning!

    Good night every one

Oh No! What a shame. That's so frustrating! You're absolutely sure you actually put it on you bike before you left? I know that sounds dumb, but sometimes we divert from our routine and don't realize it.

The dripping atty's are usually wicked w/ silica, cotton/bamboo yarn, or hemp so you won't need a torch to oxidize SS mesh.

Also - here's a tank geny (not a dripping atty) that looks fairly simple to re-wick with silica/cotton/bamboo/hemp and no tiny screws to fuss with. It has a center piece made of ceramic that you put the coil/wick into then insert the ceramic cup into the atty. I thought of you when I saw this one. You might want to check into it to see if your eyes and fingers might be able to handle working with this one.

    And it's only $15.

I'm so sorry! Just reading about it gives me an upset stomach. I can only imagine how upsetting this must be for you! Maybe if we ALL petition St. Anthony, . . . . .

You're absolutely sure you actually put it on you bike before you left? I know that sounds dumb, but sometimes we divert from our routine and don't realize it.

That reminds me of how I react when something is stolen. I keep going back and looking as if magically it'll be there, refusing to believe that it could really be true!

At least your incident has reminded me to back up my data on a mem stick.

I had all my grandmother's family photos scanned and backed up onto an external hard drive, which my drug-addict niece just stole a couple of months ago. But, this little reminder to get current with backing stuff up just jogged my memory. I think I may have most of it backed up online!
