The ZAP is one of the finest rba's you can buy. But there's probably as many folks that don't like it that call it the best. It's in the class w/ the Cobra, DID, Ody, Line, etc.

IMO, it's much better than a Vivi Nova. I have many Vivi's and I can get comparable vapor production with them compared to an rba, but for me the draw is much better and the taste is 'cleaner' with the RBA.

That said, I have a couple of the new AGA-T2's w/ glass tanks. They cost me $14.50 in a co-op (there's a part 2 co-op active now for them again). The ZAP cost 10x that. The vapor / taste would be (again IMO) difficult to tell apart in a blind taste testing comparison. The only way you would recognize one from the other is the 'draw' and it's noticeable. The ZAP has a much easier draw than the AGA because the air hole is much bigger in the top cap. Many people don't like the ZAP because it is so airy. Is one better than the other? Is a Ford better than a Chevy, is an apple better than an orange, Only you can decide. Obviously you have a Provari - and IMHO, a ProZAP (Provari w/ a ZAP) is a great PV.

The AGA is more tedious to setup than a ZAP due to it's tiny screws, smaller wick hole, and wick hole distance from positive post. It's common to struggle learning how to 'not' get a hot/glowing lead on the positive connection w/ the AGA. It's certainly do-able just takes some patience or adding some small washers to the positive post under the screw connecter. The ZAP also has a larger wick hole which allows for fat wicks and even the new fad - ceramic stone wicks. But again - w/ SS mesh wicks the AGA can be setup just fine or you cn carefully drill out the wick hole. Do these differences make the 10x the $ ZAP better just because it's easier to setup and allows for more wick options - aarrgghh - I can't answer that one for ya, but it sure looks.

Now I feel like a dunce. Didn't make the connection that a ZAP and a Z atty Pro are the same.

Someone posted previously about Newport Vapors opening soon. I checked them out yesterday. Almost ordered four flavors until I got to the shipping stage. $16.00 was the cheapest available shipping for four one once flavors. Needless to say I did not order and probably never will until they come to their senses. Major disappointment for me since I was looking forward to a few new flavors. I was willing to live with the one ounce bottles without knowing if they were any good, but not that shipping. How anyone can charge more than a flat rate priority box is beyond me. If they ever get real I'll give it another whirl.

I'm with ya Wally, especially when we were told they were gonna do a $5 shipping offer! I'm hoping they just need time to get straightened out, but that shipping charge is a deal breaker, no one else is near that high! It's a shame cuz I hear the flavors are good. I also heard that Ecig express is going to be selling them too, but not sure when. Natures Flavors I think?

I just sent them an email about the shipping. I'll let you know the response.

Re shipping costs. I complained about a $6.00 flat rate at a vendor in my own State because they were higher than everywhere else at the time. I thought I would get a break in shipping cost as it was in my State and most of the places I was ordering from many States away charged a $3.00 flat rate or none over certain amounts. Now I'm seeing more and more vendors going to around $6.00 or more if charging by weight. It really irks me because my daughter has her own business (not vaping) and she directed me to the USPS site where she pays for their service. There I learned that vendors pay $16.00 a month for USPS priority mail service. This means a huge amount of a vendor's profits come from shipping charges. What I'm paying in shipping now would buy me a 30ml or more bottle of juice every month. It just doesn't seem right. For this reason, I am not buying from any vendors who don't have super good product prices or offer a discount code. Another thing I shy away from is if a vendor doesn't have shipping info somewhere on the site and wants me to only find out about it at checkout... makes me leery of them.

Edit: speaking of juice, My battery order from Moutain Vapors came in this morning and they sent two 10ml juices. One was pecan roll 18mg and the other was sweet leaf 26mg. They are both good but I vape tobacco so I like the sweet leaf best. In fact, I'm already hooked which kinda sucks because my ADV tobacco is $15.00 for 36ml and sweet leaf is $18.00 for 30ml. They do have a 4oz (118ml) size for $39.00 and I haven't broken that down to mls yet.

That is about the same price as shipping from China. Is Newport Vapers a US company? I know I've mistaken China companies several times for U.S. companies.

Anybody know anything about HDPE vs LDPE plastics and which is better for storing juice?

    HDPE Vs. LDPE | eHow.com

I have both and, to me, the big difference is "to squeeze or not to squeeze." Zikwid has all HDPE bottles and you don't squeeze.. the juice just drips out. In a way I like them because some of the empty LDPE bottles I squeeze vary in how hard you have to. With HDPE, the bottle does the work but if you need to work fast in more volume, you can't hurry things up short of pouring or using a syringe instead of counting drops.

I would very much appreciate a link to that USPS information .. I ship guitars and parts by USPS regularly and have for 35 years .. I know of no such program, however, your providing the info for me would likely save a large portion of the 12K a year I spend with USPS ..

@Wally....try HighDesertVapes for Nature's Flavors. He's going to be adding 28 more flavors soon. Here's a post about the new flavors he'll be adding. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/high-desert-vapes/332457-product-request-thread-tell-us-what-you-want-see-stocked-our-site-4.html

ECX is looking into to offering them but I think they're concerned about diacetyl and similar molecules in some of the NF flavors which is a legitimate concern.

ETA: ECX has ordered the NF flavors also. They're working on getting them added to their site.

I can't give you her specific link as its password protected but I'm pretty sure there is a generic list of prices offered. I'll see what I can find.

I don't know if this helps but here's a generic one:

Stamps.com FAQs – Help for Online Postage Software

"How much does it cost? $15.99/month - no hidden costs, cancel anytime. back to top"

ooops, I may have misunderstood. Maybe that's for the stamps.com account?

Yes, that's right... just spoke with her. That's for her account but her shipping costs are different. She doesn't pay what you do... not even close... but then she's shipping small jars of cream.

All of my diy juice is in these bottles. It makes it really easy to squeeze that juice in bewtween a carto and the tank for refills.

Now in my cart / thanks for the tip (no pun intended) .. these appear to be more needle nosed / sharp tipped than the ones I get with store bought liquid .. you've bought them before .. ??

Unreasonable shipping charges do not make me happy. But you have to be careful because sometimes shipping is cheap, but they increase the price of the product to make up for it. Let the buyer beware...

    There's 29.5735296875 ml to 1 oz. At $15 oz, 4 oz would be $72. That's quite a difference to pay $39 for 4 oz.

That's what appealed to me about the bottles. I have some needle tip bottles with the tiny little cap on the needle and use them to fill tanks. I like that these have a regular cap on them. They might give a faster fill than the needle tips or I could at least widen the opening if I wanted. I'd rather not get out a syringe and needle if I don't have to and certainly don't want to have to travel with them.
