I have a digital caliper, a 1/1000 inch micrometer, and a laser measuring device accurate to 1/10 of an inch. Just kidding!!!!

   you brat!! Too funny!

Ooookkkkk. I need to borrow someone's brain a minute please. Janet thanks for posting that. I went to good prophets, and it looked like they only have 36 nic in either pg or vg. Now, if I want around 70 pg and around 24 nic.......If I got 36 nic in pg and used roughly 2/3 of that in a bottle and roughly 1/3 vg no nic in a bottle, then added my flavoring...... would that gimme roughly 70 pg and roughly 24 nic? Please don't laugh at me, that's really how I do math and really just how dumb I am at math. Does it work though? sorta?

ETA: I did try that ejuicemeup calculator but couldn't get it to load on my computer. I'm sure it's my error, dl'd it, installed it, it wouldn't open.

Deb, your approach is pretty close to what you want.

2/3 of 36 nic PG and 1/3 vg will get you to 24 nic w/ a 67/33 PG to VG ratio.

Then if you added 12% flavoring the nic would drop to about 21 mg and the PG/VG ration would be 70/30 (assuming the flavoring is PG)

For example, you would use 30ml of the 24 nic base and 4ml of flavoring when mixing the juice.

2 PAD for 44 yrs and you completely quit within 2 months? You're a trooper Constance!
I smoked 1 PAD for 30 yrs and STILL am working on completely quitting after 5 months.

My wiring must be faulty.

Don't feel bad OC, I was a 2 PAD smoker for 45+ years and it took me a good 10 months to be able to switch over completely. In my case, it was the addition of WTA's (whole tobacco alkaloids) in my juice that got me over the final hurdle, but it took some head adjustment too! Everyone is different. The important thing is we keep trying and remember that every cigarette not smoked is a victory!

Moishe would this work? You should be able to just copy/paste/google and see em :)

Protected 3100mAh 18650 Li-ion Battery - Cell Panasonic NCR18650A

Kat...I've looked at that one,but it doesn't say protected. The one I saw with that number was listed by Orbtronic? Where did you see it listed with protection? The 'protected' part seems to be the problem as it changes the size (to big). I was emailing back & forth w/the fellow at Orbtronic a few days ago & his suggestion was for going unprotected but that's him & he knew what I wanted the batts for. I wonder if the 'protected' really does.....BTW - Thank you...

I am not 100% sure, but I believe that this battery is to long for the Joye 18650 Mod. The control module cannot screw all the way down. Even though they all say 18650 - not all 18650's are the same size. The protection circuitry makes them larger... If I remember correctly the 2600mah protected batt is the largest that will work. You might want to double check first before you order.

Semi...you're 100% correct on the 'protection circuitry' makes them over 3mm longer & they are also way to wide. Where did you find a 2600mah protected? THAT WOULD BE PERFECT!

Deb, do a search on yer computer and see if you have "Net Framework 3.5" If you don't, or you have and older version, add it. If you have a newer version you have to remove that first, and then add in ver.3.5. . No guarantee it is you particular problem, but that's exactly what happened to me, and I finally got it to work! Good luck!

Here are links to other calculators that should work for you Deb.

e-Liquid Calculator

E-Liquid Calculator Ten Flavor's Plus PG/VG Adjusting

My brain would hurt if I had to do the calcs in my head! :)

Gloria, I have ejuicemeup on my desktop, but I love the simplicity of the bolded calculator. When I become more advanced, I will probably use ejuicemup, but for now, I really felt comfortable with that one.

Thank you!!

Can one of my wise friends here suggest a good PROTECTED batt for my 18650 mod? I'm using Sanyo 18650 - 2600mah & they're wonderful, but, not protected & that makes me a little nervous. I've never tried an IMR, they're supposed to be 'safer', but I really don't know much (if anything) about batteries....just that I want them to keep a loooong charge & safe. Is there such an animal?

From what all I've read the IMR batteries are much safer than the protected batteries for VV PV's. If it is just a standard 3.7 v PV it is allright to use the protected batteries if they aren't too long. All I use in my 18650 mods are the IMR's.

Waves at everyone :)
Old Curmudgeon, yup and so did my neighbor. Took her the same amount of time to lay the cigs down. However she has not been able to drop the nic level down like I have. She was an ultra light smoker and I smoked PallMall Green. Before the PallMall I smoked Misty Lights 120's. Was hard to go from the Misty to the Pall Mall 100's. Think the first few months after that change I was close to 3 PAD. Had to use the 2 meg gum to get down to 2 PAD and the lozenges. My other neighbor likes them but when she went back to work it was back to the smokes. :/

Uncle Willie, that Njoy is a RN4081 battery I think. I have one of those batteries and found cartomizers for it at GoodProphets.I actually use that battery and carto for certain juices. It puts out a ton of vapor, just not a good battery life.

For those of you wanting something that looks like a cigarette, that RN4081 one does. Think it was also called a "Super Mini". It and a Titan 510 kit from TW, did the job. I orginally bought the RN4081 kit in Oct 2010 and didn''t like it. LOL Now I think for it's size it's a good vape.

Boni, I have a real hard time tasting juices. What one will rave about, more than likely I will taste nada.Did better using vendors I could add extra flavor shots to the mix. Found a few I could taste and really like.

I am trying some of the juices you sent. The AltCig buttermint..all I taste is the mint. Reminds me of straight peppermint which I do vape at times because I can taste it. The Raspberry shortcake..I taste nothing...sigh. Smells good though. I've decided that black tea is like unflavored nicorette gum..you know when you get that "pepper" taste...lol...lets see thier mint sort of killed that but not completely...hmmm Mint tea?:D

@Janet H - Ordered my beakers from Amazon should be here this week. Thanks! Never crossed my mind to troll through Amazon to see what supplies they have to cost compare.

@my4jewels Thanks for the Precise Tipped Dropper Bottles. I ordered them tonight or rather this morning.

@MikeE3 Great vids on rolling mesh and I look forward to the World Premier of your FIRST video!

@Iffy - the renown nico lord protestor

@Gloria Thanks for the different E-juice calculators. I will have to play with them to find out which one I like the best before my DIY samples of nic juice get here. Love that Vape mail!

@ Kat56 - Is the peppermint at 12% - altoid strong or like a peppermint candy cane strenght?

@ Welcome to all of our new friends!

Wow Connie. Your buds must be in worse shape than mine!! LOL

The Raspberry Shortbread isn't really an "in your face" flavor. It's kind of subdued.

Mint tea sounds good. :)

Have you tried anything with a hot cinnamon? Of course those can be tank/clearo killers, so you may not want to go that route.

I like cinnamon vapes :) Yes I can taste that LOL I have one from MtVapor Baker "Cinnamon Roll" with extra flavor shots (2 maybe 3) that I can taste and like.
The Raspberry shortcake needs more raspberry for me...I may get some raspberry flavor and throw it in there. I can taste butterscotch, which I vape a lot of. Another flavor to buy. I can taste the hazelnut in MTBV hazelnut coffee, but the coffee is subdued....more coffe, but I do like that one. Think I'll try and find some hazelnut coffee and extract some of it. Maybe that's why I'm a big fan of Kona, because I can taste it.

I use the 2000mah IMR batts in mine. It was the most suggested batt so that is what I went with. I read other posts that said the 2600 fits, but have not tried it myself.
