Just found out the Kanger Protank will not be using eVod coil heads (unless something changes before they are released hehe). With modification they would work but I don't want to be whacking the gasket all up LOL

I definitely still want one though!

Won't they be the same heads as the T3? Do you like the eVod better than the T3?

I think I said somewhere in this thread that the smok redux was just like it but a different manufacturer. :) It's the rebuildable version of the stardust. The Stardust short wick was the first, then Vision made the Stardust V2 (long wick) and then the V3. I used the Stardust for a long time and it was a good clero. The smok redux heads are different though, so still looking for my V3 heads cheaper than $2.95..sigh.

Try here, Connie (or do you only go by Constance?). Right now they're $2.49:

Hi Tx. I've never tried the T3 cuz I decided to wait for the eVod for the lower priced replacement coils. Sorry I can't compare them.

So far, the replacement heads for the Protank will be similar to the eVod heads in that they are separate from the base, but the center pin is longer and the gasket is smaller. I can't remember but I think they are slighter smaller in diameter. So if using an eVod replacement coil, the gasket will pancake and restrict airflow unless you get an exacto knife and shave some of the gasket off, plus the center pin would have to be swapped out. At this point, I think I'm glad I don't already have tons of eVod replacement coils, but I really do like the eVod a lot.

Got an email this AM from RTS stating they have experienced a 400% increase in business the last few weeks .. I guess there is a lot of stocking up going on right now ..

I received the same notice. I says "for some unknown reason". I do believe that the reason is FEAR. Hoping they get their new place up and running soon as I need to place another order with them. :D

    Yep .. I don't plan on making another order .. ;)

I do wonder with the expansion at Wizard and RTS if that's wise, but hey, it's their business ..

Got 'cha. I do believe that you are all set for whatever happens. :)

It could be that they know something that we don't. I believe vaping is here to stay and it could be they are just positioning themselves to be in the right spot when what ever breaks, breaks.

Wizard Labs being shut down for relocation and people having to hit up other vendors harder than usual causing them to run low certainly didn't help with the fear factor. Once everyone has restocked and caught up, things should settle down a little.

But, I think most of us are already pretty well stocked now. I know I am. The only way I'll buy anymore is if someone has a really fantastic deal. Like a year ago, when I got 500ml of 36 mg/ml from My Freedom Smokes for under $24 shipped (30% off with free shipping). Now, THAT I wouldn't pass up.

Truth be told, it's more like tuh-may-to. Hey, whatever works to get to the same results. I only use one kind of carto, so it works for me. It's always been a deal breaker for me if I can't "hot swap" a carto in a tank.

You say tahmahtoe (you are from Maine, right?), I say 'mater...

Actually, some of my cartos have a base that is just a lil' tad larger in diameter than the carto body. Ergo, 'mater... rut roh... INCOMING!!!

I got my Groove today and it is pretty cool or should I say Groovy! It is pretty much a combo of the MVP and a Gripper except it is VW. It has a Li-Polymer 3800 mah battery so it should last me at least two days without recharging. It has a very nice led readout and is very easy to adjust. All ego type cartos will fit down in the well except T3's and a Vivi type tank also fits perfect. It is also pocket friendly whereas my other VW 18650 PV's need to be carried in a lanyard. I think I have a new favorite at least for awhile. The only negative is it is plastic but it is a thicker tougher plastic than the Gripper. I already tested it by dropping it about 3 ft onto the hardwood floor without any damage, scared me though because I hadn't even tried it yet. lol:D

Yikes! If you did this on purpose to test its durability I duly impressed. :toast:

lol Not intentional just clumsy. I've been using it all afternoon without any issues. It isn't quite as comfortable as the Gripper but close. It's about an inch longer and much better built with many more features.

Are those color-coded battery boxes in the corner of your pic (the purple and green)? That gives me an idea. I could get different color battery boxes, one color for IMR and another color for the others (ICR?)

    I know, I know. I just can't help myself. I'm a container/organization junky.

Yes and if you would like a few PM me and I will send some to you or anyone else that needs some. I bought a bunch from China for practically nothing. I'm going to go home for the weekend and could send them then otherwise it will be end of March before I will be back home.:)
