Natasha, if you like the side screw fill system but only want glass/pyrex tank, I thought you might want to look at these sidewinder tanks - he offers the option to upgrade to caps rather than those grommets - option in drop down. I've never bought from him but from reviews it looks like folks are happy with his products.

Sidewinder in 4ml or 7ml

Thank you. There is so much to choose from... and then try to discern what is and is not compatible.....

More questions, please. I am trying to discern how one determines sizes to fit tanks, carts, and batteries for ordering.

For example.....THIS GLASS TANK IHybrid - Bedazzle Tubes
How does one know what carts will fit inside of it correctly?
And it's diameter in choosing a battery that would be of similar diameter??

I have this .... side of my personality that wants things to coordinate and be similar. Such as a glass tank that is approx the same diameter as a battery. And battery, I am thinking maybe 1000 mah...?

I think I need to hire a personal shopper!

Nathasha, I may be wrong, but I think the tubes in your link are for very specific Rebuildable Atomizers. They are so pretty, but I don't think they are cartomizer tanks. Hopefully someone else more knowledgeable will jump in and take a look and can help you.

Edit: Have you looked at Phiniac? They make really pretty carto glass carto tanks, and the site tells carto sizes for them I believe. Not sure about matching diameter of a tank to an ego battery - I think they would be more the diameter of the "marks-a-lot" size PV's.

Bedazzled is one of the one's I can't help too much with. I went to their site, and didn't see the outside diameters mentioned. However, to best match the size of a tank to a battery, you're going to need the fat Spinner, and the smallest diameter tank Bedazzled has. Sorry, but that's the best I can to on that one.

Edit: Even with a fat Spinner, and the smallest tank, the tank is still going to be a bit larger, and that's if they have one that's 19 mm.

More questions, please. I am trying to discern how one determines sizes to fit tanks, carts, and batteries for ordering.

I'm like you in that I prefer my tanks to flow with my battery lines.... however......

The tanks you're looking at appear to be something that would fit a provari and that's a whole lot wider than any ego or spinner or cuban cigar ;-)

If you're looking at a 1000 mah battery, it might be wise to look at a vision mini vivi nova. I have an eGo passthrough that's 1000 mah and it came with Stardust clearomizers which looked alright but weren't what I needed. I tried the mini VN because I could simply replace the head if it got mucked up and the cost didn't hurt (what I found even better was I could just rebuild the things for pennies a time but that's not for everyone).

A lot of carto tanks are just too big although I'm sure you can find skinny ones somewhere. Just had to throw my :2c: in...

Thought I would chime in here on the Bedazzle tanks, as I have some. She , Kathy, has a thread here on ECF and they're all very friendly and helpful. Don't be afraid to go there and ask questions. ;) She has shifted her focus to tubes for RBAs lately, but there are sizes that will work with a carto. These are just the glass tubes, you would need to buy end caps from her seperately, and there are end caps available elsewhere that will also work. As to size......yep, you will need a provari, vamo, zmax or similar size mod if you want the size of the tank to match the size of your batt.

There are also cone thread sleeves available from vendors that make the transition from a smaller batt to a tank look nicer and also serve to stabilize and support the tank.

I have looked at phiniac, as well as another site flint linked me. And will probably buy 1 from each of them also. HOWEV... these tanks are heavily on my WANT THAT list. They are just stunning.

And just yesterday I said NO FAT BATTS, but I can see that is already not going to hold.

Can you please show me some pix of some of your set-ups using Kathy's glass tanks? And I did also post on her thread, thank you. My gosh some of those tanks are TDF!

Has anyone tried the new Innokin iclear 30 tanks? They are supposed to be real good but are hard to find. I just found some adv at vapor joes. I ordered one to try. I have a couple of i16 but haven't tried the i30's yet. They come with a stainless swivel tip which I like and are 14.95 with free shipping. They are dual coil with 16 wicks. Fran - I woke up thinking of your flaming ZAP.

Here's what 2 of the Zen experts said in response to harsh hits.

    Quote:
If there are no shorts just vape at 3 o'clock till it goes away. And at a lower setting. It WILL go away. I've experienced the same thing with more than one new Zenesis. It WILL get better once the wick is broken in and it's wicking properly.

i agree with the advice that the others have given. the stainless wick often takes a day or two to "wick" properly. for a short time, make sure your APV is almost parallel to the ground (3 o'clock). it will get better. promise...
    Unquote:

Then I found this thread titled: Issues with Zap Fire

    http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/rebuildable-atomizer-systems/376610-issues-zap-fire.html

And this one: talked about "...I get a really harsh, unflavored vape..."

    http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provari/376561-got-my-second-provari-zap.html

The issue in the 2 linked posts was vaping 100% or high% VG and it not wicking properly. Any change you're a high/100% VG user?

Tx, how are you liking your groove? I really like the shape of it, but I sure wish it had replaceable batteries. I like box mods better than tube ones. Love my gripper, but would love to find something very similar to that only made better. Mike, since you probably own stock in provapes by now, talk em into doin a box mod type! lol

I was tempted to get a gripper but I'm just going to bide my time until the next
run of Billet Boxes are ready. The only tube style I have is a Lambo which is fine
to use at home, but out and about the Billet fits the bill, for me anyways.

I had never heard of a billet box, but looked it up. That looks very interesting. I don't like cartos, but have never used one in a tank, so they might be better that way. It said you need protected batts, and I definitely prefer the IMR type. Do you know what changes are being made on the next run of them? What do these run price wise?
