The was a good vid by rip tripper on using tanks/cartos. Any carto (almost) can be used, it doesn't have to be pre-punched if you can do your own. And it's important to 'prime' the carto first or wait a good long time for it to suck juice from the tank. The filler needs to be wet before your 1st vape or you risk burning the filler.
Just curious, does anyone else here use a Vision Eternity RBA? Or is it just me LOL. I've been using mine for quite a while now in a different configuration than what is shown on all the vendor sites, like it better, and figured I'd share in case anyone would like to know.
The drip mode vapes very nice, but is kindof too contraption looking for my taste. I use the tube that is actually intended for the Type A Ego-C tank, but instead of the tank, I slap a Type A Drip Tip in there

Wow Flint, you've been right on this! Good job! I'm glad I read through the posts before I answered because you had it covered.
The only thing I would add is that in the video of filling the carto tank, I think he makes it look more complicated that it needs to be. We put the carto on the battery, put on the tank and then just put some juice in the carto with a needle or needle tip bottle to get some juice down into the polyfil and then fill the tank and leave it sit for 10-15 minutes and it's good to go. I take some dry puffs on it without firing it to help pull juice into the polyfil. When you can see bubbles floating up you know it's good. This is only done when it's new, once your tank gets low on juice you just take off the drip tip, pull the carto down enough to give you space to fill the tank with more juice. Push it back up, stick on the drip tip and you're done.
We find that it's much easier to fill the tank while it's attached to the battery. I have a hard time grabbing that little end to pull it out the bottom of the tank to fill. I've never had the carto leak out the bottom like his did. Mine has 2 holes punched.

I agree about the video, but it's hard for me to describe in words. I don't agree with him on the part when he removes the top, however. I slide the carto down and fill along the side of it. The only tank I take off the battery when filling is my locking DCT tank.
Natasha, here's a video that might help you understand the difference between cartos/clearomizers/tanks. He does mention the vivi nova's, but there is a mini vivi nova that works great on my eGo. I did get a couple "collars" that gives a better look to it. It can stay on the eGo and I can just switch the vivi to one with a different flavor in it. This is different from a tank in that you unscrew the top, squirt in your juice and put the top back on. I like the simplicity of that. The whole thing unscrews and you just screw on a new head and your done. I do find that the flavor is muted until I go through a tank and then it's fine. Anyway, this video might help you understand some of what's out there. Sorry about the long intro on the video.

That's the way we do it too. I think the less you take out the ends the better for wear and tear on the rings, but I could be wrong about that. It just seems so much easier to just pull the carto down enough to get the needle end in, fill the tank and then push the carto back up so you can put the drip tip back in. I've got my favorite juices in the bottles with the needle caps for ease in filling.

Me too Kat. Actually it got held up because the spare glass tube I ordered was out of stock.
I have ZAP problems. I filled it with juice and let it sit a bit before trying on my Provari set at 4.0. I got that crappy burnt taste that goes right up your nose. Turned it gown a tad and got the same. Took it off and let it sit a bit. Tried it on a Spinner and still got the crappy burnt taste. Took it off. Removed the top. Coils look perfectly wrapped and well away from the post. The screws are tight. Looks prefect but works awful.
Maybe I'm wrong because I don't have an RBA, but aren't they supposed to be "burned in"? Did you do that first?
