I use eFest 18350 and 18650 flat tops in my Vamo all the time. Well 18350's all the time, I've tried the 18650 and it's just too long for me in the configuration.

I checked the VAMO battery thread... looks to me like they are using both. SO... it may not matter..?
Do you stack the 18350s?

No drinking for me tonight...was helping daughter remove mattress cover to wash, turns out her 'tempurpedic' type mattress is LATEX..am currently heavily benadryl-ed, hoping to avoid trip to ER. (yeah, I'm THAT allergic) On an upside, my Mt Baker order should be here tomorrow (makes note to order on Friday's from now on..faster to get to me it seems. Order on Monday and it takes all week, stupid US Snail) AND my China order is shipping tomorrow!

OH MYLANTA... who would have thought? I have a Tempurpedic, but I don't recall seeing any warning about latex!

I like MVB. I need to order some more ICE flavs myself.

ROTFLMAO!! I just dragged myself away from the baby owls and caught up with this thread and I laughed so hard I'm crying! I'll have a drink with you! I knew there was going to be a problem eventually with the batteries. This was a little like "Who's on first". Natasha, I think you'll be fine with either battery although you'll probably have some peace of mind if you email them for their recommendation on your order. I wonder if they read this thread...

You got that right! And after reading the VAMO battery thread, it did not get any better. That thread has made me more confused. One thing I did get from the VAMO batt thread is DON'T STACK the 18350 unless you know what you are doing. That rules me out. nI had ordered 4 of the 18350, but now I'm thinking I may change 2 of those to 1 18650.. just for grins.
WHY are batteries so damn dangerous....?? OMG

Oh molli, I hope you don't have to head to the ER! Please be sure to post tomorrow and let us know how you're doing.

And it's good to know about when to place an order! It is convenient to be able to order stuff from home, but then you have to wait for it - and that's how Vapemail got born!

They were already punched. What are the odds? I've never had 3 duds in a row.

Oh, well, that's not good! Here I thought you punched them yourself and couldn't imagine how big the hole had to be to see the glow from the coil!! That can't be right can it? Never saw holes that big in a cart.

Just tag, charge and use 'em as pairs. You'll' be OK.

I know that you're now gun/batt shy after your eGos. Don't let yourself get talked out of a superior and reliable setup. But, if you're still dubious 'bout stacking batts, get yourself an 18650 mod.

Hell, I'll gladly send ya a plastic/rubberized Bolt, two 18650 batts and a charger to try out. Noper, it's not a VV/VW... but I don't go over 3.5V on any of my PVs anyways!

I just feel bad you've had a chain of mishaps! I've been vapin' near two years (next month) and my worst encounters have been dry hits (have I ever mentioned that I HATE dry hits?!?!) Send me a PM if you're interested.

Boge 3.0 and never an issue before. Bad batch I guess.

The only time I ordered Boges, the QC department must have been on vacation! No mo' Boge fer me! Now, must say that Jewels luvs 'em...

Iffy, you are so very kind. I've just watched most of Phil Busardo's review of the VAMO, which was helpful. And really, in looking at it.. it's HUGE. I cannot imagine that I will ever want to use it except in the short mode w/ 1 little battery. BUT.. if I do... I will come find you first so that you can teach me to safely stack batteries. He did say that the one long batt rattles around alot, where as two short ones stacked do not. I'm not sure which style of TOP he had on his short batts, but they did not rattle.
You are very generous to offer to send me one of your mods to try. I'm ok. I just have to be careful, patient, and read the instructions here on ECF. And stay in short-mode! We have TONS of rechargeable electronics in this house. And we leave things plugged in, charging, all the time. And I've never given them a thought until reading about some of the batts here on ECF.

One thing I am going to need help with is understanding about the VV, VW, and the RMS. Busardo was going over all these diff settings and I'm like... OH GEEZ this is WAYYY over my head. I am going to need to know how to stay out of the danger zones, cuz I definitely don't understand any of that stuff.

I also need to order at least one more battery as my Tornado passthroughs are getting way old. 15 mo/14 mo and 12 mo respectively. Got to say those have been awesome batteries. I might breakdown and order another one from TW. Just wish they had somewhat better prices. Even my Smok batteries have been long lived. One finally died last month and it was 13 months for it. Doesn't Joyetech make the Tornado for TW?
