The weather has been so strange and not very nice this winter for sure... Hope you don't get too much to deal with.
I did a grocery run this morning so we are set if he doesn't have to go to work tomorrow. When it gets icy/snowy down here it is just safer not to get on the road. I know how to drive in it but no one else does. Heck most people don't even have winter coats. We have no snowplows. In some parts of the parish the salt truck is a pickup with a guy shoveling salt off the back. This happens here maybe twice a decade so maintaining the special equipment really is a waste.

Hello all! Name is Dan. I'm 55 and finally quit smoking the week before christmas after 40 yrs. I started with an eGo kit and quit stinkies immediately. I swore I was just going to stop smoking and not start a new hobby but now I have a couple mechs and rebuildables. :p

First off, we're so glad ya found us! Hope ya hang 'round fer a spell.

Now, I must state dat EVERYONE should have a hobby; especially if it can extend a life!

... and didn't want to add the 18490 to the collection.

... to bad you can't use that end cap with a 18650

Ergo, my endorsement of telescopic mechs (if one is so inclined to go wid a Kick/mech).

OMG IT IS SNOWING!!!!!!!!!!!

PLEASE keep it up yonder!

... so maintaining the special equipment really is a waste.

Dallas thought da same back in '68 when it became a skating rink wid fairground 'bumper pick-ups'. Dat might o' been da source of my back issues; lost count of folk my bud and I assisted.

Sure hope da jet stream lifts back up to da Arctic. It's been truly brutal fer our Northern brethren!

Punkin' spice and warm apple cider would be appropriate flavs dis winter season!

Yesterday, this one was great!! 15
However, I like this one better today. 35

I wondered about that.... I know when my in-laws lived in Arkansas it was the same way. Well if you have the groceries and supplies needed hopefully you'll get a snow day to just snuggle and watch some lifetime movies:)

What do you have it on? I would be putting it on a VAMO. I like your taste, however, while I consider, I will look at the whole list occasionally.

46 47

I have used the Jwraps for my Pro Vari and Zen Mods....now for a tube mod the two I have actually been the most happy with would be Vamo numbers 46 47 (the pink and white winter camo....they are beautiful on a tube mod...I think it's because it's an 'overall' pattern)

(Did you notice I typed 46-47 before typing my response so I wouldn't forget the numbers...meant to erase that:facepalm:
No, it meant nothing to me. LOL. OK, I'll drop the others and see if I like another overall pattern better than 88. Thanks. I'm still going to take a while deciding.

True story

My first winter when I lived in Iowa int he course of 12 hours we got like 2 inches of ice + a foot of snow on top of that + 3 more inches of ice on that. ISU shut down and even CYride did (that was the year IOWA didnt order enough salt for the roads and they were asking locals to donate their water purifier salt to the cause). I had no idea it was coming so I had NOTHING in the house. I hadn't really learned to drive in it yet. SO I was stuck in the house for 4 days with basically cup of soup and potatos.

When it passed I hit Hy Vee for a huge grocery run. The checkout lady who knew me by then said my GOD this is a big food order for you. So I told her how I was stuck for 4 days with nothing. THen she said the fateful words:

"Aw honey we deliver"

That is funny...you know when you grow up here I guess the cupboards and freezer are always stocked..maybe not exactly what you want, but you'd never starve. I'm sure for the students from other areas winters are rough. I always fear loosing the power for long periods of time as we always have 1/4 - 1/2 beef in the freezer, pork etc. We've never lost a freezer full of food thank goodness.

Cover it with every spare blanket in the house, and if all else fails, put it in a big picnic chest and take it outside with a cement block on top.

I lived in Keokuk, Cedar Falls, and Sioux City.

Up yonder where da weather is so bad, if ya lose power, just open da freezer lid! (JK)

Da longest we went without power down here in 'cane land was 6 days. Thankfully I had filled da bottom of da freeze with 2 liter soda bottles 'bout 2/3 full of water as an awesome 'heat sink'; lost nuttin'! Did have to do a lil' grillin' to save da top layer.

Shure did miss da AC, though!!!

But since I started vaping, my survival mode is centered 'round my PV batts recharging concerns. Definitely got dat covered!
