I'll have to check out the F-4315 first I've heard about it. I have a DSE601 Pipe too and it is a very nice looking pipe. I got the full kit on sale for 30.00 from DV. It is very similar to my tobacco pipe that I used to smoke. It has a very good auto system but you are limited to using their builtin atty and cartridges. I was pleasantly surprised to how good it vapes compared to all the negative repots on it. I probably wouldn't have bought it but just couldn't pass on it for 30.00 and I'm really glad I got it.
:tumble:
Tex, the pipe I was speaking of was F4313. I corrected my original post. I think the F4315 is a cigar. The F4313 looks much like the DSE601. I am wondering about the amount of liquid the cartomizers hold. I'll check. I doubt that it holds as much as the Echo.

I still carry my real eGo 650 mah batteries to work with me. The size is perfect and I just swap batteries at lunch and I know I'm OK for the rest of the day. My original batteries are now near 2 months old and have been charged every day and I notice they're getting a tad weaker. For the past week or so I've been debating getting some new ones and I've been vacillating about what to get. KGO1100s, 900s, stay with 650s, something else?

I have "bigger" PVs for home like Epowers and VTubes so I'm good there. Neither of these is convenient to carry at work so that was my dilemma. Finally decided this morning just to get 3 new KGO 650s as the size is just perfect. I'm also going to like the little bump in voltage as my current eGo's are 3.4V regulated. Sweet-vapes had them at a decent price so I ordered this morning.

On the CE4s I was testing. I got 2 from Discountvapers and I had only tried out 1 of them. Wasn't impressed at all as it seemed to dry hit to often unless I held it upside down and waited a minute or so between hits. Well I loaded up the 2nd yesterday - and it works perfectly. I think maybe I just got a bad one and that was the one I was testing. Anyway, DV has the LR models in stock so I went ahead and ordered a few more. I still really like the CE3s but it will be nice to be able to refill without a syringe...

I have never seen 650 KGOs. Mine are 1100...but still pretty small.

Hey Harley, I am getting way more flavor in my phoenix now. The ones I filled, I just let sit a couple days while I was vaping with my stardust, and the other day when I tried the phoenix's again, the flavor was great! Don't know if it was because they sat in time out for a couple days, or if the juice just steeped for a couple days. lol

Also I watched some vids on the vivi nova the other day. For some reason I thought those weren't clear, so now not sure what I saw that I thought was them. Anyhow, they look really interesting. May try one next time I can order hardware. Today's learning experience will be watching vids again on how to clean/change juice in these and actually try it. lol

I did have some juice get in my mouth from both phoenix and stardust yesterday, so hoping something just slipped a bit, and cleaning and putting back together will fix that. No other leaking though.

They do have metal colored tanks for the Vivi Nova too so maybe that is what you saw. I should be getting my new Apollo Tank from DV and I'm anxious to try them. I like my Vivi Novas though so we will see which one I like the best.
I just got the Apollo in the mail today....had to run out the door for a meeting, so didn't even get to take a look at it. Gonna be a long afternoon till I get home....lol

Arizona Smokefree sells it (It's actually F4313 --my original error.) Not sure who else carries it. They had the best price a couple of weeks ago -- $69.95. That's AZsmokefree.com I believe.

Thanks Ronaldo for the link. AZsmokefree.com It does look exactly like the DSE 601 but uses a 510 cartomizer instead of a cartridge. It will be much cheaper than replacing the bowl when the atty on the 601 fails. It is a shame they designed the 601 without replaceable attys. The F4313 should last a long time if the auto switch holds up. I read where one failed after a month but maybe it was a fluke.

Got mine too and it is very cool looking. Filled it with Cinnamon Roll and it is vaping excellent so far. I will post more after I've used it a few hours!:vapor:

Okay, everybody is getting all this cool stuff...all I got was a few boxes of cartos. :glare: I am actually happy though, I did get 5 boxes of 5 Boges for $23.00! Not too shabby, right! And they vape so smoooooth! I had been vaping my old washed and recycled ones that get to be like sucking a bowling ball through a garden hose...being broke sucks! What a huge improvement though, like a whole different animal! Wow! I think this is actually my first time using branded Boges too, they are exceptionally smooth and nice. Where have you been all my vaping life? I guess that's what happens when you continue using the old atty/cart combo for a long time.
One advantage to being broke...you don't rush out and waste money on every new accessory that rolls out only to find it sucked...you let everyone else do it for you. Then when enough people sing it's praises, you take the leap. I did spring for a few clearos which I didn't like, and giant cartos, which I did, a DCT which is great for those favorite flavors, and some other asst stuff, but so far I still like cartomizers for me. It's cool we have all this variety though. Up to a point...sometimes it makes it even more confusing than it has to be... for people just getting started especially!
Actually, I can think of another advantage to a tight budget for me...DIY. It started off to be a way to afford a variety of flavors because I do like a variety, but it also appealed to the mad scientist in me. I love whipping out all my "lab" stuff and mixing up some new concoction to vape. (or not) LOL. It's always entertaining if nothing else, and sometimes you really strike gold! In fact, since I have some new cartos, I think I know what my entertainment for tonight will be! Just rambling folks. Happy vaping!

My ECBlends order came in today so I have more black cherry! Also, while I like their caramel apple it just has to much caramel so I solved the problem. I ordered a bottle of green apple and a bottle of caramel. I mixed it 60/40 apple to caramel and it's near perfect. Just made a 10ml batch but I think I've found the spot...

Be careful when taking the tip on/off of the Stardust types. There's a small clear o-ring/seal that can accidentally come out with the tip and is easy to loose. When that happens, it doesn't seem to leak but when you remove the tip there's a lot of juice on it.

That's true, I did loose one of those rings, but since I use the Stardust a lot I do notice that if you hold it upside down you will get some juice leak out of any of them. Not much, just a little, but it doesn't taste good. That only rarely happens to me unless it ends up upside down in my purse or pocket.

Just an heads-up, for those trying the Visions/Stardust/etc, save those lil' drip tip gaskets if you're gonna try the CE 5+ rebuildables in da future. The latter has a pizz poor fitting gasket! The V/SD/etc gaskets fit soooo much better than the CE 5+ origs.

BTW, I've had no, nada, ziltch leaking with the SDs!

Hi to all. Thought I should check in and tell you my first batch of DIY ain't half bad. I made a honey flu cured tobacco menthol using 50/50 at 12mg. Herself says it's too "bitter" so I've ordered some sweetner and will probably increase the VG in hers. I also got a sample of root beer from MadVapes and I love it so I ordered some flavoring to roll my own.

I considered totaling how much I've spent on vaping since March and decided not to. It doesn't matter to me as long as I'm not smoking stinkies. Another thought I had really made my day. I am no longer paying the exhorbitant taxes that were levied against cigarettes "for my own good". Talk about taxation without representation. Well, up yours Mr./Ms. Legislator :vapor:
