Here we go again. The coil is 6 wraps (4 full wraps and 2 partial end wraps) giving me 2.1Ωs. The coil was wrapped on a 1/16 machine screw and is 1/8" (~3mm) when taken off the screw.Note to self - you got to play around w/ this stuff earlier in the evening. Having a nic buzz just before bed, just ain't right.

Nice job Mike! I am off the last week of Sept. and will be trying the cotton wick then. I am looking forward to your class and wondering if you have 5 items that would fit in a suitcase to bring back or do I need to rent a Ryder????

Will definitely be lookin to see what you think about white vinegar (I expect you mean the distilled vinegar) vs the AC. I have some juice with not much flavor at all, maybe it will wake it up some. I need to experiment with this some, just a couple drops in a vivi maybe to start. I keep all kinds of vinegar around.

I did use distilled white vinegar. I like the taste better, but they are 70/30 pg/vg and I use 50/50. They have a little bit too much of a TH for me.

I just wanted to show off some of my Bling..My vaping Turtle..and A juice jar..

Like the new BLING! OOOH - Shiny object must have!

Thanks JJ but it's months not years. If you had told me six months ago that I would go 5 1/2 months without a cigarette I would have laughed in your face. I still can't believe that I'm free of those things.

Way to go Tiny!!

My advice to the uninitiated would be, don't start vaping specifically to give up smoking, but to simply reduce the number of cigarettes you smoke; that way there won't be the stress associated with " I have to give up".

Congrats Yothar and welcome!! Good advice too!

Oh boy...color me happy today! Black Mile.

Kat, Black mile?? What is in it?

I'm really wondering if this is just cotton yarn LOL

    Atomizer 100% Natural Cotton Wick

There are other options that are considerately le$$ expen$ive. For an example, here is my eBay WICK purchase. Note the 10 YARDS & free $hipping!

OK, I'm now ready to do some 440 SS mesh shopping... MIKE!!!

Hopefully, Mike will drop in and show us da way to da 'cheap harbor'!

    Hi Kat. :)

You see any where where it says how much you get?

jj on that "cotton wick" it says you get 6 feet per package. What I did after I saw that was to just get out some white cotton yarn, boil it for 5 minutes (dunno how long you're supposed to but I figured 5 minutes would do). It's drying now...I'll let ya know if it seems any good when I put it on T2 and/or Vivi Nova.

It looks like the same thing as cotton yarn to me. The one I have is either the Peaches & Cream or Sugar & Cream, as I have both in my crochet stuff.

Like these but widely available at most craft stores
Peaches And Creme Yarns - Cotton Yarn Balls
Lily: Lily Sugar'n Cream - Free Knitting and Crochet Patterns!

yep jj, definitely at Michael's, and likely at Hobby Lobby too.

The size on the site that called it cotton wick was 1/0 but that didn't really mean anything to me :(

Worsted weight on the cotton yarn though - if you've seen a skein of yarn, it was very likely worsted weight as that is the most common. I'm gonna dig around and find out who, if anyone, still makes sport weight or fingering weight cotton yarn. I bet I can find some.

Still would like to know what size. Please? :)

Oops, sorry... #1/0 candle wick. That seems to be one of da more popular/recommended sizes within the 'wizards of DIY coil/wick rebuilding' genre.

Ten yards? Hey, just gettin' ready for the run on candle wicks during Y3K...
