Haha, the bottom of all of my purses have crumpled napkins and paper towels. I have also been using carto tanks for months and months. I just haven't seen anything new worth trying come along yet. Of course, I did get involved with the Raven, but that was essentially a fillerless carto for my tanks. Of course, it didn't pan out.

Same here, including the cup holder in my car. I have an inventory of clearos, CE2s, attys etc. that I'm holding onto just in case the SHTF.
But for right now, I'm just sitting back & letting everyone else try all the new goodies that show up every 2 seconds. It's actually kind of fun seeing the excitement & raves when something new hits & it doesn't seem to take too long for the 'rants' & complaints to start. No....I'm very content for the time being, my cartos/tank & me.:)

KariM you can still use the Stardust and it shouldn't need dryburning after three refills. Most likely you didn't have the tip screwed on far enough and the juice got past the silicone seal.

Tx - ok - I am very happy to hear that. I kind of figured it was the "dumb" newbie thing - rushing to get out the door and not only not being prepared - but not getting the darn thing back together the way it should be. I am sure I will probably make a few more

I have now added papertowels to the list of what I need to take when I go out - thanks all. :vapor:

I started stealing packs of camel straights out of my dads carton when I was 8. At 51,I finally switched to vaping. I dig it.

I would "borrow" a pack a week of my dad's Kools, then scoot them forward so they looked the same. I'm sure he had to know but he never said a word to me about it. I think I had to be at least 16 at the time though, when cigarettes where a whopping 35 cents a pack!

I usually have tissues with me and have a small make-up pouch in my purse that I keep my supplies in when I go out. My husband has a small cloth carry case that he throws in the car with him to make sure he'll never have a problem. Never hurts to have extras with you. I agree that your Stardust shouldn't be giving you problems so soon so I'm inclined to think the top wasn't screwed on tight as well, but you never know if it could be a defective unit so just watch it to see if it happens again.

Kari, despite what you seem to think, you sound very together for a newbie! There is so much stuff out there and it can be so confusing, I am glad you are off to a good start with some solid equipment now and learning more day by day. Not smoking is a great thing and something I never thought I could accomplish. Welcome to the crew and best of luck!

If anyone wants a Vamo from a vender you can get them here for 44.00 with coupon 5off. I haven't bought from them but saw it on ......... https://vaporbank.com/shop/index.php?p=catalog&mode=search&search_in=all&search_str=Vamo

Thank you tx. Ordered. I've been looking and looking and missing out on the co-ops.

Vaping is an interesting activity compared to smoking. I would stick with the same brand of cigarettes for years and not even think about switching. Now, everytime a new PV or whatevermizer comes out, I feel compelled to try it. I've been perfectly happy with my little inexpensive 18350 VV mod (with it's 18650 big brother for road trips) and the Kanger T3's for a couple months now. I guess the variable wattage has me intrigued.

Now, just in case a solar flare knocks out all our sophisticated mods, I wonder if a Bic lighter, a glass vial and our favorite e-juice would work.

Good morning guys feels like I caught the flu! First time I have been sick since I quit smoking. I have been vaping today although not as much as I usually do been drinking tea with honey seems to help.
Vaping while sick yay or nay? I dont seem to feel any negative reactions from it.

Can't be any worse than smoking when sick! How many of us did/do that?

That one is only about 7.00 more than the co-op and you will get it much faster plus have a little better recourse if you have problems. Mine should be here soon maybe today. Did you order the Black or Silver Chrome? It is a very cheap way to try VV or VW. I really like my Zmax in power setting. I very rarely ever adjust it. I normally just leave it at 7.5 W unless I'm just experimenting with it.

We would always get a pack out of a new carton too and rearrange it to look like it was full. I don't think my dad ever caught on because he smoked so much. The cheapest I ever paid for cigarettes was 1.00 a carton when I was in the army overseas and they were tax free.:).

I had a bad case of bronchitis back in January and couldn't vape for nearly three weeks.
I hope you feel better!

Usually when I was smoking it would always turn into bronchitis but it seems this time its alot more mild.

This is the beginning of my fourth winter of vaping and I've been very fortunate because I haven't had a single cold since I started. I've been exposed to lots of them through my grandkids but I haven't caught one yet.

I work with a lot of teenagers they are a hot bed of germs I tell ya! lol

tx...I went with black...that's what I was having such a hard time finding.

Not only .10/pack, but the Chesterfields in C-rations were free  I can't believe I was so desparate for a smoke.

No colds?? That's 'cause we're so old we've had 'em all :vapor:

The black chrome is nice looking. I wish they would have been available when I ordered.

Shortly after starting vaping I had a bad case of laryngitis, but it never turned into the usual chest cold. I haven't been sick since then and it's been over a year. I've been around sick people and haven't caught their colds. Hmmmm. And yes, I did smoke when I was sick with colds. Not much stopped me from smoking back then. Actually, I'll have to go check, but I think I read that PG kills bacteria and maybe virus too..

Yep, found this posted by Roygate - It is a powerful bactericide and virucide, and has been used in hospital air spray projects. It is reported to kill airborne pathogens at only 2ppm.

Here's the link if you want to read more. Almost seems like you should be vaping if you have a cold!

My first cigarettes were Kent - with the micronite filter - whatever that was. My parents smoked unfiltered Camels and I couldn't handle those.
