Ummm, that's not good. I haven't bought anything except those 2 EVODS. Are you talking nic or what?

Don't know what Semi is referring to, but I know lots of places have been out of nic lately. Somebody on some thread said they thought it was down to about 1 supplier there for a day or two 8-o. GotVapes keeps running out of heads. (Got some in, sent me an email, and 8 hours later ... they were out of stock again!) I guess it was the CNY combined with the FDA; but I do know that I got an email from MFS saying they'd have nic back in stock today. That kind of stuff (suppliers running low/running out of the goodies) makes me twitch. The twitch then runs down to my trigger fing... er my order-button finger and then the bang goes off in my checking account.

I swear, this might be said to be the time when ignorance really is bliss. Paranoid (even with good reason!) is not a fun state of mind.

I am an older folk and have just stumbled in to the whole vaping adventure... and into this thread @ page 1054. Forgive me if I haven't read everything up to this very point... if I'd tried to do that, I'd have been a much older folk by the time I got done!

I smoked for 35+ years before an illness forced me to quit a little over 2 years ago. I still struggle with feeling like I ought to be doing something with my hands and the seemingly constant need to munch on something. It's my hope that vaping will give me some relief from these issues. I ordered my first vaping supplies last night and am looking forward to trying them out!

So hello and please, don't let me interrupt any further. I'll sit in the back quietly til I've figured out what's going on. :)

best,
Deb
Vaping should help with all of those problems... hope you like your setup.. what is it? haven't read past this, so if you already answered, i will see it soon. ;)

Sounds like USPS is a efficient at Canada Post. My package of nic and flavors that finally showed up way down east in Ottawa - still shows in transit as of Feb 21 with and expected delivery date of Feb 15th. I don't know what is worse - being told that your package has already been delivered or that it will be delivered 6 days ago  I sure hope both our packages show up soon :(

Hope they didn't mean Feb 15, 2014. Better give 'em a call and ask. Between you and OC having delivery problems and the CNY, I'm glad I stocked up. Expecting a delivery is fun until it drags out, and especially when they say you already received it!! Don't they call that gas lighting?

Tooth, thanks for the dryer leaf blower tip! Wouldn't it be awful to finally give up smoking and end up burning up due to a lint fire?

MaDeuce - bet you'd look just fine in a fancy hat and a pipe. Of course, this time of year you'd need a down coat to put over the dress.

Deb - the older I get the more spelling mistakes I make. Don't sweat it - we all know what you mean. Besides, with all the texting abbreviations people use these days it won't be long before nobody will know how to spell.

Debi - boy, when all your stuff arrives it's going to be like Christmas!! Hope you don't make the local paper doing your happy vape mail dance!! Wait until you get back in the house to let loose!

Thanks Kat. Now I have to be smart enough to use it.

Awww, I'm sure you'll be fine and you're certainly smart enough!! Think of it as an adventure! You might even like it! Mike and others are more than willing to help if you run into problems or have questions - not to worry.

They're just lying to you for the fun of it. Nobody got mail on Monday - some kind of presidential conspiracy ;-)

You're right. I can't read:facepalm:

It said Saturday! But lo and behold there it was today in my mailbox
next to my snooty, high brow British shaving cream:2cool:

Life is good.

Morning all... sorry have been MIA. Work's been NUTZ.

Quick question... I'm getting on very well w/ this vaping, but I think I'm becoming a vaping addict. I'm going thru 3 batteries a day w/ the VOLT system, and that is not going to fly. SO... what do ya'll think about the JOYETECH E-CAB? Longer battery life? And is the manual battery a pain?

    TIA!

We have 6 family members who have switched to vapeing. We find 1300 Spinners with Clearomizers a simple, practical solution. Two months so far, without a single failure. The Spinners last all day; the Clearomizers are simple and easy to fill. Both are reasonably priced.

Using a manual is no big deal. But, the eCab uses a 10440 battery. That's only 360 mah! It wouldn't be much improvement, if any, over the 78 mm Volts.

Why not just get a little 650 mah eGo battery? I have an adorable little purple one. Besides, it's compatible with just about everything!

If you want to stick with a auto battery Mountain Vapor has a very good auto ego 900 mah that isn't very big and it will last you most of the day. I've tried lots of autos and it is the best I've found. The spinner or twist would be good choices for manual batteries but they are a little longer than regular egos. A good fairly accurate measurement for how long a battery will last is to figure one hour per 100 mah. That will vary of course depending on what you are vaping and how often but is a good approximate measurement.:)

Is size or looking like a cigarette important? Those 808 pre-filled carts are too expensive IMO. If size is not a factor, try a eGo Twist 1,000 mAh, or a Spinner 1,300 mAh. I would also go for a cartomizer tank like the DCT Tank (use the single coils).

To me, the auto batteries are a pain. Manual is much better.

And maybe I should add that aesthetically, I still prefer something longer/thinner. Not saying it has to be a skinny long e-cig look, but really don't want to do a short/fat marks-a-lot either. :)

THank you, will look at these.

Am wanting to also find a larger carto, as I'm already tired of continually refilling the little nanos, also.

    Thank you for this info...

ETA: And I'm sorry, but what suppliers are you ALL buying these items from?
