Mike, I'm sorry about your bad experience with the Zmax. But, thanks for sharing the info with us. I need all the help i can get to curb my vaping Hardware Aquisition Disorder!

he he, I like that one VHAD. I'll add that to my medical alert tag along with CRS.

Little success story, I just got engaged and my fiancees parents are both in their 60s, both smokers for 30+ years. Now, both smoke free for a month, happily using a couple ego's we got them.

Nice! Congrat on the engagement and congrats for getting the in-laws to be started on their vaping journey.

Don't do it!

Let me know in 30 days if that worked.

I'd be careful about dimensions. The vented tube I have also works with the eVic and my protected Panasonics (2250 mah) are a little bit too big for it. I got a couple 2200 mah IMR batteries. I'm a pretty heavy vaper and they last me a day and a half.

So nice to read these success stories........congratulations on your engagement!!!

Well bummer! I see that some others are posting the same results as you with the Evod, so I guess it's hit or miss with the quality control on these things. Haven't even looked at the head on the Evod (got it at carolinavapes), but what do you think about trying to rewick it with cheesecloth or some Aunt Lydias?

Gloria, I am still loving my EVODs so I think you may be right in guessing that it may be a QC issue. I bought mine at IVape!

Still wondering about Tx and am including my prayers along with all of you!

I am really too pooped to pop tonight, but wanted to post that we had a wonderful visit with John at Wizard Labs today! I was super impressed with his facility and the precautions that are taken to keep it sterile. They are not totally settled in, but it's progressing quite nicely.
He is a super nice guy and was extremely generous with his advice. I could not believe he was vaping a twist with a EMDCC carto. Told me he likes it simple sweet.....couldn't agree more!

Anyway, more tomorrow, as I just have to get myself comfy on the sofa and chill for a bit.

To my great surprise, it was pretty easy to get rid of my nic addiction a few months after I started vaping but it took some time to get use to the difference in the juice without any nic in it. Some juices just seem to need a little nic in them to make them more enjoyable :)

I said this in another thread today, my vaping today is a lot like drinking coffee for me. Sometimes I enjoy a cup or two of cafeinated coffee because I feel like it and enjoy it but I'm perfectly fine with drinking decaffeinated coffee. If I never drank another cup of caffeinated and only drank decaf coffee I'd survive just fine ;) I DIY most of my juice as 0 mg nic but sometimes I still choose to vape some low level nic juice and enjoy it :)

Most of the time I vape none nicotine juice, but occasionally and usually with caffeinated coffee I will vape a 6mg juice. You are correct some juice just needs a little punch.

Gloria I'm not sure what the problem is with that evod. Leaks like a sieve when you invert to fill it from the bottom(Out the mouthpiece) and now it started leaking while on the battery. Poured juice out the bottom..so it's laying over at the side :/ Hate the way it fills also, can't see the line...unless you hold it just right in the light. Grrrrr! It can go elsewhere.

Wow! That's fantastic! So glad to hear a great success story!! And how wonderful of you to give them such a nice gift! Have them drop in anytime if they need a little encouragement or if they need some help.

Gloria, I've had strong flavored juices in it. Gurgling now on the 2nd head :( May try to clean the head with vinegar though...Tastes just as crummy with the 2nd head as the first. But maybe washing out the cylinder with vinegar might help it. Sent you a message..I have Vape Mail :) TY!!!!

That's not good. I got 2 of them and gave one to my friend since she was leaving for vacation. Turns out hers leaked all over. When she got back I stopped over and gave her a new head. A week later she tells me it seems to be clogged so she's not getting any use out of it. Meanwhile, mine is just fine. Now yours is gurgling and tastes crummy. What's up with that? I'll have to snoop around and see what others are saying. Makes me hesitant to order any more of them.

they sound like great people!!!

No Joy today....my vapemail is STILL sitting in Des Moines. :mail: Mt Baker shipped it within hours of ordering on Monday, and yet again my little backwater town lets me down.
Mt Vaper Baker is really good at sending fast. Too bad about the delays.

Well I certainly can't "like" this post. Sounds like something is very wrong with yours. No way should it be leaking out the mouth piece. I'd be checking with wherever you got it because even changing the innards won't have anything to do with that. sounds like it's defective.

I liked this person's response over in the co-op thread about a ZMax w/ a crooked display screen - made me chuckle.

Been through Stardusts that leak, Lavatubes that have threads that don't hold anything, atomizers DOA, a VV Gripper that lasted me only 4 months, A7's and Phoenix clones that spin freely around their center post, and a BMW that overheats on demand . . . in Seattle!. A crooked screen is nothing!

They really only last 24 hours. There...did that help convince you not to buy them? ;)
BTW, the Vanilla Swirl and Blackberry turned out to be a tasty combo. Just let me know if you'd like a little sample of the VS to add to your vanilla collection. LOL

Gracie, that's so neat that you got to meet John in person and see their facility! :)

Mine has dripped out of the mouthpiece while filling it too Connie. :p

I just filled it again with the handy dandy LightSpecs from Walgreens on, and now that I can see down inside well, it looks like a bit of the juice is going down the center tube even though I'm pouring it down the side. So I cut most of the head off a Qtip and stuck that in the tube. That helped keep the juice out of the tube. Another solution would be to use a needle tip dropper when filling.

The other thing I've noticed is that the head comes loose pretty easily. So whenever filling it, make sure that the head is on tightly before putting it back together. I'm thinking that a loose head may be causing the leakage out of the battery end. Not sure though.

So Gloria, tell me how did you like the Caramel, Pear, Black tea by Ahlusion???? Gotta know....:D

Ok..head is tight and I'm filling it with a syringe. If you fill from the bottle it does go down the tube even if your filling down the side :p All I have to do is turn it over to remove the bottom and it's pouring out the mouthpiece. Give me a few I will send this puppy to you ..heh!
