I'll be happy when/if GV gets the mini square Vision stardusts to go with this - that will be perfect for me. I have the tank system and I'm not happy with using the tanks - too small, and now I'm finding that after one or two fills, it's just not working/tasting the same. So for now, I'm not using the cap at all - just the 510 adapter with any of my 510 cartos/Vivi Nova/Stardusts, etc.

THIS IS A REMINDER, WE ARE GETTING COMPLAINTS THAT THE LCD LOOKS SCRATCHED ON ITASTE KITS AND REPLACEMENTS.

SO I WANT EVERYONE TO PLEASE READ THIS.

THERE IS A CLEAR PROTECTIVE FILM ON THE LCD & IT LOOKS SCRATCHED ON ALMOST EVERY UNIT, THIS IS BECUASE ITS A FILM FOR PROTECTION WHEN ITS SHIPPED, YOU SIMPLY USE YOUR NAILS TO PEEL IT OFF TO REVEAL THE ACTUAL LCD SCREEN which IS FLAWLESS.

THANK YOU FOR READING.

Haha, I opened mine up and was *so mad* that the LCD was scratched. It ruined the device to me. Then I remembered that the protective film is standard, even from Chinese crap, and managed to peel it off and all was well :D.

Oh.. and I've got money burning in my pocket for dem tanks and bigger caps. Any status updates? :)

I really hate to see comments referring to everything made in China as crap. If it weren't for China what would we all be using to vape? When I was very young I can remember everyone referring to anything made in Japan as cheap imatation junk. Don't think anyone can say that today :)
As for my iTaste, it's definately not crap! I love it, gorgeous and functionable.:D

Yeah, if it wasn't for Chinese crap, we wouldn't have no crap at all! :2c:Not just PV stuff, but almost e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g including the clothes on our backs (as they say -- I cover my front as well).

I do buy U.S.-made as much as possible, and preferably local, but -- still wouldn't be able to get by without a considerable dose of Chinese.

I love my iTaste more every day. :) It's sitting in my "expensive stuff" glass next to my Provari, and I like it just as much. It really is a toss-up: iTaste beats the Provari for looks (hands down) and ease of use (I love not having to fiddle with removable batts and being able to use it as a pass-through), and the Provari beats the iTaste for number of functions (ohmage, exact batt charge). Of course, the Provari ran me twice as much as the iTaste...

Hey, I even got used to how it looks with the ViVi on it! :D

well it is standard but i wouldnt consider the vv crap, its a pretty darn good unit

Of course, I meant Chinese crap as in all Chinese crap comes with screen protector, so of course a good Chinese product would come with it. I'm very very happy with my iTaste.

I doubt I'll ever have a need to buy a Provari now :).

I work with Chinese companies quite often, and let me tell you, most of it is junk LOL. The Japan bashing likely had more to do with nationalism than the quality of their products. There are companies that produce quality products, and Chinese companies are a godsend to supplying parts to western companies with a more rigorous QA, but let's just say when you start importing massive amounts of Chinese products, you really start to see how terrible most of their finished products are.

Woke up this morning and nothing is working on my iTaste... I promptly started freaking out because I know GotVapes doesn't do returns. Swapped 5+ different atomizers I've been using for the past few days, and nothing... Tried pressing both buttons, it displayed 5.0 - 5.0 -- aka the atomizer isn't making contact. I had to screw my Vivi Nova in *much* tighter than I usually do for some reason, but it started working again.

The iTaste is 14 days, like the Joyetech products. Other batteries are 7 days.

A connection issue like this sounds like the post has gotten pushed down... I'm pretty certain others in this thread have described how to reset it and push it back up...

I haven't tried to read all 36 pages to serif anyone else has same issue, but…

Ok, so I've got the iTaste vv kit last week

I love the battery!

But the cartridge that comes with it leaks.

The first one I filled punching through the hole on the side and the juice immediately started coming out of the bottom:blink:
The second one, I filled through the small hole on the side at the wall of the cartridge and it seemed fine for few minutes, but then same issue occurred

So, I'm stick using fluxomizer carts at the moment which, means I can't close the cap (which also leaks if it's tilted over, but works well otherwise)

Have you tried filling it up side down? I'm not crazy about the Tidy's, but I never got a leak. I did have some seepage from the top, but puttingthe small top ring (silicone) from an old CE2 seemed to have stopped that.

You might also want to check the thread Tidy Happenings - just a couple of pages.
