If you're happy with NN...that's all that matters. There's no reason to change.

I just prefer BA because to me their PG & VG is great quality, while being lower in cost, too.

I definitely agree with you about DIY being dirt cheap, especially compared to buying ready-made eliquids! I don't even like to think back to the $$ I spent on them before I started DIY, and I didn't even buy the really high-priced stuff.

Ah yes, the joose bandits. The folks who buy ingredients in far greater quantities so at far lower cost than we as individuals doing personal DIY can. The 'bandits' I'm mostly referring to are those that don't have a lab, a store front, employees, insurance or the endless other extra expenses associated with a real business that might justify to some extent the ridiculous prices they want for joose that seldom fits our personal tastes as well as our own DIY does. Those who often just mix at home, on the kitchen table, out in the garage, in the family bath tub or where ever that you have no idea at all of what the quality of the ingredients are or how clean/safe they are. Unfortunately cost drives some premade users to buy joose from unknown/unproven sources that could be some of the worst sources.

I started doing DIY when I started vaping, but I also bought premade from established sources with labs as I was learning how to get my DIY to the place I wanted it. I stopped buying premade when I figured out enough of my own nic free DIY recipes to have the variety I wanted for all of my vaping. I can't remember exactly when I last bought premade as part of my kit (maybe 4+/- years ago?). But I did do a half dozen of them from quite large samples (with nic in them) that were sent to me from South Africa to try out for my opinion/review of them about 2.5 years ago. Five of them were winners for me (an unbelievable percentage), but I did not acquire more of them. I was long out of the buying premade game and didn't want to use nic joose (although I'm 99% sure they would have custom mixed for me without the nic). They did not ship to the USA though. So any more would have had to come via the same resident there who bought/sent the samples to me for the review (who was happy to continue doing so). The joose easily earned my kudo's, was sold for very reasonable prices compared to most US vendors and he got my sincerest kudo's. But I've always paid my own way in life, and he wouldn't accept my money.

I'm so happy with the LL+LS combo that I've already mixed a second 20ml batch. BUT when I sat the new batch next to the 3 day old batch there was an extreme difference in color. Made me think I may have done something wrong with the new batch! No worries, 24 hours later they look nearly identical in color. Funny how this stuff works.

Anyway I also mixed up 20ml of Arnold Palmer and it is definitely another keeper. While I can't detect the taste of tea I'm sure it contributes to what the flavor is and I like it.
Next up will likely be trying something with the Baked Cinnamon Roll. What I had in mind when ordering it was too mix in a good dose of Fuji in the hope of getting something like an apple Danish flavor. Probably will try that first. But I also have Osdiy cherry, blueberry and blackberry untried and standing in line. Might be able to do the same with any of those. Thoughts?

That will leave me with one untried flavor. The Choco yum cake. That might be best to try on its own the first time, I'm guessing?

Have next to no experience with BCR @Foggy Road as vaping what are to me too sweet flavor profiles is not really my thing. But I have tried the OSF BCR. I mixed it 10 to 1 with LO Cream Cheese Icing IAMA way back as a kid when I actually ate such they were drizzled with simple maiden glaze. The vape tastes like I remember the way we made them at home (but that memory is clouded by the 5-6 decades since I have eaten BCR's).

I considered but never tried the OSF AP tea as I didn't think it would work for me anymore than Southern Sweet Tea did way back when I tried it. The only teas I have vaped for any extended period of time have been Spiced Chai and Chamomile, both made with tea, spice concentrates that I extracted myself from raw ingredients minus the sweet or milky additives (Black Indian tea for one, Chamomile flowers for the other and appropriate locally acquired spices).

I tried BCR. I normally like sweet juice and the BCR was a bit harsh for me. I was planning to try again with something else added to it, but after it sat on the shelf for a couple of months I quite liked it. For me it's like menthol, wouldn't want to vape it all the time but it's a refreshing change once in a while. Stops the taste buds from getting stale.

Funny thing about these OSDIY flavors and blends. They sounds sweet but it really doesn't come thru for me. With exception of AP and Pink Lemonade. Both very lemony with what strikes me as a natural fruity sweetness from the lemon. Nowhere near obnoxiously sweet.
Some of the flavors actually seem to benefit from adding just a touch of sweetener. I've come to suspect that is by design, to give mixers the choice of how sweet they want it.

Had called her about something else, and then remembered your post about the LS + LL. Thought I'd just pass it along to her as another kudo for their OSB and OSF. She was pleased to hear that it's something that's working for you!

Just a heads up on the OSDIY Baked Cinnamon Roll flavoring - It does have alcohol in it. I let my mix breathe for a day or so, with the bottle tip and cap off, to let the alcohol evaporate off. After that it's smoother and nice, to me. The only other flavoring I've ever mixed with it...was a minimal amount of the LorAnn Cream Cheese Icing. However, I like it just as well without it. You might want to try it solo first, after letting it breathe, before you try it with your Fuji Apple. To me, it definitely tastes more like a real Cinnamon Roll, than a Danish. But you know what they say about everyone's perception of taste. So....who knows what it'll taste like to you.

I did get a 30ml bottle of 'tobacco blend' way back. Wasn't impressed. I don't even see it listed anymore but there are 2 others. Probably 1 a blend and 1 a flavor. Anyone tried them?

Since you vape 24mg nic eliquid with an older set-up like she does at 1.5-1.8 ohms...she recommended using 10% or maybe even a little higher, when making each one. As far as the 2 tobaccos they have - The RJ4 OSB is their version of a RY4 (tobacco, vanilla, and caramel). The one that used to be called "Tobacco Blend", is now called "T/A Blend" instead, because Canadian buyers were having trouble with their Customs not letting it go through because of the name. So, they changed the name to "T/A Blend", since it's really a Tobacco Absolute Blend anyway. Now it goes through Canadian Customs with no trouble. She also mentioned that some people like the T/A Blend with a little fruit flavoring or vanilla in it at times, so you might want to give those a try sometime, too.

FYI. My Innokin VV/VW V3 is scheduled to deliver Tuesday.

I've been doing that as well. I have 9 tanks in action and ended up with 10 flavors, so I decided to combine those two. I like them both but the combination is really good. Of the two I prefer Lucky Shot so I mixed 2 parts of that with one part Lotta Latte.

I'm going the other direction. First mix was equal 50/50. Second mix I bumped up. The LL and cut the LS a bit.

I came up with a Spiced Pumpkin Velvet DIY (with no crust) around 4-5 years ago that I do vape when it starts to cool off here on the desert. It is used from about Halloween to Thanksgiving every year. I do like strong flavor, but by turkey day (if not before) I've about had enough of it until the next fall because the enjoyment from vaping it goes from being a happy.......

Another new recipe is worked out and added to the list that uses just two flavors that I like individually... Cocos and the Green Fairy (Cocos is coconut and The Green Fairy is absinthe).

Typically the best Absinthe concentrates come from Europe But I just used TFA Absinthe in my blend along with FW Creamy Coconut and it came out fine. Percentages are to taste so you'll have to figure them out for yourself if you decide to try it. Absinthe is the strong flavor of wormwood, anise, sweet fennel and other herb additives that if mixed at too high of a percentage can be sharp and will be over the top sweet. Rec you start low-mid percentage in a blend, you can always add more to your taste.

Of interest maybe.... Absinthe was first distilled into a liquor from the leaves, stems and flowers of wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) in the 18th century by some of my ancestors in the Val-de-Travers area of Switzerland.

Placed an order for blue raspberry slush, as I misplaced (well ruined) my first one.

First, I want to sub BRS in for INW grapes and make “grack juice” with it and see what happens.

I’ve honestly been vaping nothing but grack juice lately, and I’m excited to see how it could turn out with the BRS.

Also trying the pumpkin spice cream, excited to see what can come of it with some ry4, soho, black honey, and biscuit, etc.

Mixed up “Grack Juice” with a straight replacement of BRS for INW grape @4%.

Also Pumpkin Spice Cream @8% solo, and a small tester of RY4D 7% and Pumpkin Spice Cream @3%.

Will try the BRS in a few days, but am going to give all the pumpkin stuff a week +.
