Yeah, the auction just ended a bit ago. It got a little crazy.....

Well since it was listed as a "block of blood red black willow", you would have expected that a little (or a lot) of blood would be spilled over its ownership.

That block is beautiful and that guy does great work. He is like the dibby of wood stabilization.

hmm, they look close in dimension,,, surprised because imo the Dibby feels smaller in the hand … maybe not as thick as the Grand. Its good for all hand sizes.

definitely Dib's rounded edges helps… and btw being all one piece (wood) is great; i've had other wood b/f that warped at seams and stuff.

I mean exactly like cherry. Or mahogany lol but seriously a nice dark cherry wood mod, my brass rm2, my blood wood drip tip shorty from drip tip designs I just got... Mmm mmm mm that's good vaping.

Yeah, I have some cherry wood here, and the first run will feature one that's Santos Mahogany (smells like roses when you cut it). Both of those will be available pretty regularly. Also, this first run will include one made of Madrona. It'll have both the darker and lighter tones in it. Madrona has a figure (grain) that's different from Cherry; but it's coloring is similar.

The Madrona is one that I will have to make some effort to attain more. I may just have enough for one more mod after this first one; but then I'll have to find someone local who's got some. (By local, I mean, the tree was cut down around here.)

So, on this size and shape business. I was thinking about how to say this without hand gestures, and then I forgot about it, and then, just when I was walking back to the 'puter, I casually lifted up my hand . . .. left it in the exact same shape as it was when it was just hangin' by my side . . .. and looked at it. Guess what shape it made? (hint: don't say rectangle)

On the reo site, it says to specify if the brass rm2 is for a wood mod. Does that apply for the dibby, or is that something unique to the woodvil?
