This one breaks my heart: It's advertised as 6 3/8" long x 2" x 1 3/8" but is actually 1/32 shy of 2"

Ouch... that one is a shame...
I meant, a shame it's not big enough

I'm still catching up so I have no idea if anyone has expressed interest in block 4 if it is indeed able to be split, but I would buy the other half for my 2nd dibi.I hate it how women are so good at math.. LOL Just tell her to cut your allowance by 30 bucks a month
BTW, BLOCKS 2, 4, and 6 are big enough for a good split![]()
I'm on for 8 and 12

I only know of one person who uses 80 . . . X-puppy. But I don't know if he's compared it to 60.
If you want to get 60 tho, this place is good. Jacobs Online Nichrome & Rene 41 Wire
Ok Pdib, I learned to listen to you from my last mistake. I just wanted to make sure... when you say "don't buy a bunch"... are you actually saying don't get this one?
you know me, I gotta ask ..(and it really pains me to let this beauty go)

You mean his wood, Glass?
( . . . . . someone's gotta say it. . . . . and that someone's gotta be me . . . . .)
That's what she said, ValHeli, on a public forum.

Been wanting to try this fancy Rene wire so I ordered some from there yesterday, showed up today lol then I realized it's in Moxee, WA. 10 minutes from me, how awesome is that?
Thanks for the recommendation pdib!
He just drove by your house and dropped in your mailbox.
ho ho ho - Rene wire huh? get your welder's gloves on! That stuff is harder than the devil's head! Fill up the blowtorch.
But it lasts, i still have a coil i used for over 2 months this year that i made last year from it (somewhere here on the desk - i'll find it later - i have been messing about with other stuff is all).
T
my point is not the price or its heating abilities - it is that it is a dog to work - it is extremely hard to form into a coil without pliers, jigs, multiple blowtorching etc.
I know this because i tried to wrap it like every other coil i had made prior the first time and it pierces skin and i daresay bone! It is not troublesome if you know what you're letting yourself in for, but if you come at it from using a 30g kanthal microcoil, you're in trouble!

Haha thanks for the warning, torch full, pliers handy, and gloves on standby.ho ho ho - Rene wire huh? get your welder's gloves on! That stuff is harder than the devil's head! Fill up the blowtorch.
