I thought it was because R41 doesn't want to form coils...
it's rather stiff . . . .
The wire comes on a spool and is in an annealed state (soft), and so is easy to shape how I want it.
Insert that's what she said joke here.
she told me it was rather stiff, and altogether too . . . . .. . . . . (nevermind)
Couldn't pass it up. Sorry for my 6 year old humor.

I have to disagree.
Wood would be hard/good, soft/not so good.
A Nuppin Atty, but they're pretty rare -- like only one exists in the entire world right now and I think it's enroute somewhere between Baghdad and Seatle at the moment? Now to get back on topic....sort of.
What would be a good atty for one of Peter's mods bearing in mind that it needs to be dummy proof?
I know a guy getting one of the mods and he is really dumb about this kind of stuff.
just ordered 16', Grade 1 Ti, 24g, .44Ω/inch. Should make for a nice dual coil setup on the "Nuppin" Atty at about .5Ω net.![]()
