i'm a nooob at DIY and my recipe's would be strictly recognized flavorings with no special expertise.
super Sub ohms and spending too much $ and time are my only detours from the mainstream….
I wouldn't put pg or vg in naked brass, plated brass is ok, so long as the plating isn't damaged. If it IS damaged, both copper and zinc can be dangerous. I'd just stay away from plated atomizers (decorative elements don't matter, it's juice steeping over time directly on brass/copper/zinc that's bad).
I mean it's not like you'd notice alzheimer's and testicular cancer within a few months, but why take that chance for 10-20 years down the road if you don't have to. Especially when stainless steel atomizers aren't hard to find.

Brass is usually copper, with lead and/or zinc alloyed in it.
The RM2 is manufactured using brass. When chrome plating the brass base metal, a thin layer of copper is first plated onto the brass. There is also likely to be a thin layer of nickel over that. This is required, as the brass does not accept chrome plating very well.
This multi layer plating process is very common for most plating operations, including silver and gold plating. Part of the reason is that the base metal can react in certain ways with the top plating material, changing it color immediately or over time. Copper is used as a buffer and to increase electrical conductivity to enhance the plating process. Nickel is used to buffer the copper from the top layer.
It's very thin, but if you used a fine grit and went slow it might be possible.
Interesting flavor combos with regular flavors is always great
. My biggest interest is in formulas that don't gunk coils while tasting good. That's the biggest problem. I can make great smelling/tasting blends, but then you throw the coil gunk factor in there and it's a pain. I wouldn't expect you guys to be sophisticated blenders. If you did it yourself, with a recipe, and it's obviously a decent blend, that'd be great for a swap! What I was saying about buying juices is that someone didn't go to ecig express and buy a 50ml bottle of on sale $3.99 stuff they didn't even try and call it their own blend

I don't know about having a copper atty though. I would think it'd be high maintenance as copper tarnishes easily.
A copper atty would be gorgeous! But... copper turns black/green fairly quickly if not sealed. And I think the sealers are toxic too? If you did the outside of the atty only, and used a stainless or glass drip tip, it may not be a problem, but that's a lot of extra care.

Morning Dibbers! Uhhhh, I was quite worried about my ability to purchase a Dibi with my latest financial issues :'(
I traded in a 2001 clunker with transmission hiccups & an alternator light blazing for 2 months and am now tooling around in a mammoth Hyundai Santa Fe. I am pleased with him, even though the initial drive home was horrendous, up so high, hesitating with the sensitive steering and brake system LOL
I have not been a fan of Hyundai since the 1st and last one I bought in... uhhhhhh... maybe '95? But, I have read many reviews and spoken to friends that have bought later Hyundais and they are extremely satisfied with their vehicles. With my 95 Hyundai, the little hose feeding fluid to the clutch kinked the first month and I learned that the break worked independently as I careened around a corner I am a learn it while you live it type of driver XD Bought my first car and THEN went to take driving lessons for a week many moons ago HA! Anyway, wish me luck with this battleship! I am falling in love with him slowly =] I think I shall call him Titus, because he is the largest vehicle I have driven besides the hubby's pickup.
I had thought that I would be even more limited in my vape purchases with the new insurance, BUT my provider dropped in price once I began comparison shopping =] It dropped over $400 for the year! Yeah for me! My vape gear expenditures are immediately halted so that I will squeak by and adopt a Dibi!

Understood - but with an atty such as the RM2, the juice never sits on metal, correct?
I was rather hoping the nicotine would protect me from Alzheimers and trust the wife to look after my balls. But i suppose if i forget about them then it's no harm, no foul! I also take the rather philosophical view that after smoking for 30 years, i probably have it coming to me anyway and i'm not going to worry about a bit of brass.
Sounds like it's more dangerous to get in a car with Lisa right now - especially without my blindfold and BP medicine!

Not only that, but the inside of the cap is still plated lol. Unless you're EXTREMELY .... about doing things thoroughly that is. My rm2 is more like silver/chrome inside, chewy delicious brass outside.

In the RM2 the inside stays plated, so the juice you're squonking never touches the outside if you sand it down to copper or brass. Some people are still worried about and will only vape from SS. I'm with Super T, in several years they'll probably find out that it's the multi- vitamin I'm taking that killed me and the brass infused nicotine would have saved me if I kept vapping at 24mg instead of dropping to 12.

Recipes are not really my forte, HRH likes monkey poo and RY4, and i have been vaping the same apple fritter recipe Jack gave me for almost a year.
For some people at work i get HRH to make them a menthol, since that is what they smoked. For my stuff i just put a bottle on some scales that measure to 1/100th of a gram and pour it in - syringes? pfft!
No cleaning up after, so it fits well with my usual idleness. BTW, my R41 coil is now on week #5 and wick #3. I am danger of forgetting how to make them and HRH will soon steal my blowtorch for cooking. Dangerous times.
