Oh... only thing is... many of my juices are made with top grade essential oils and extracts as well as flavors... not sure how useful the recipe would be for most people...

On another note... going to show off the other sides of my wood blocks... they are soooo neat!!! These are wet with a few drops of water, and dried really fast as they absorbed, so the color's actually darker and denser when wet, but you can still see the patterns.

This is with stainless and gold tops, with a copper wire laid alongside the blue one for color (the gold plate looks bad with the copper):

those are some really wild looking pieces of wood. you could just tell those who see your finished mod that you stole it from some alien's dead hand but you can't really talk about it, really looks outer worldly

That wood is definitely alien GG, love it! Its hard to pick a favorite. Hope you can find someone to make it into a mod very soon, I'm looking forward to seeing a pic!
What do I think? I think that pdib should get a plating kit and offer plating too, or contract out for the service. I saw a video of a guy who bought a plating kit and did it himself, and it was really fast and gorgeous!!! But I'm not bringing it up again til he's done with mine!!!
THEN, he can take 6 months vacation...
There are several gold plating services where you can sent your part to get plated for you, it's not that expensive actually. But what would make more sense is that one person buys a kit and everyone chips in a bit for the cost of the kit, and he plates them all at once. Then, he can keep the kit for all his own stuff for free
That would still make it cheaper than paying for plating, and the plater only needs to clean our parts before doing it. Then stuff each one back in the shipping bubblepack they came in, and stuff it back in the prepaid shipping envelope and throw in mailbox, and we all get plated parts
As for what I think of gold or brass top with copper or aluminum band? I don't like it... the brass would look better maybe, but still not great. Gold plated is way too GOLD to look right with brushed copper or aluminum. If the copper or aluminum band already had something gold or brass with it side by side, then it would pull it together, but to have them widely separated like that looks odd.
IF you want to plate tho... I think you have to start with copper. Plating aluminum has a bunch of issues. The bad thing is, there are no copper toppers (for good reason, copper is toxic if ingested), while all the stainless toppers would work with aluminum

As for monkey poo. If all goes as I am hearing, i may be back to crafting it sooner than I thought. Possibly in time to be stocking stuffers.
I will not, however, be doing raw form anymore. It just didn't work and I lost a good amount of bananas on that program.

Not to question the master, however, it was my understanding that the RM2 is chrome plated Brass and not copper? Now I Am confused, which, apparently is my normal state...
When you sand one down to brass, you first hit a very thin layer that has a copper color. Is it copper or just a reaction of the chrome bonding with the brass, I don't know.

When a company manufactures batteries, they bin the batteries by quality. Andy purchases top bin batteries from premium manufacturers. He then takes those batteries and puts them through his own testing. If they pass his strict testing, he wraps them with his logo.
For instance, AWs line of LiNiCoO2 cells use these Panasonic batteries. The protection circuit he uses in some of his batteries is his custom design and build (and many consider it the best available). He was also instrumental in bringing IMR batteries to the hobbyist market and popularizing them there.
Andy is a good guy, who has been part of the flashlight hobbyist community for years. You can see his long-standing sales thread at CandlePowerForumsMarketplace here
Note:the battery shipping situation has made buying directly from AW impractical for many, as direct shipments of batteries from him take a couple of months to arrive via surface mail. Due to the popularity of his batteries, there are many counterfeits. Be careful where you buy, and avoid ebay.
