Be careful what you wish for. My next one is going to be some mildly distressed looking wood with an oil finish again, 'cause one I just got is so beautiful and perfect, I have yet to start using it.

I used to be like this when I get something new, I would either not use it at all or use it but at the same time preserving the protective plastic wraps or stickers so as not wear it out!
... Then I realized I get more satisfaction and get my money's worth by putting it through outright USE AND ABUSE!
