So, it has slowed down. Some of that is to be expected, and some of that is due to the site issues yesterday. After a truly explosive first day it's easy to see the trickle as a bad thing, but the signatures are still coming in.

I've contacted a few reviewers but I've only received a response from one, and that was a no. MBV did let me post the link to their page, and they said they'd take a look at the petition. I'm assuming that the lack of response from the more official groups is a gentle "no" and at least they're not asking us to stop.

If we want this to continue to grow, I think we may be on our own. I still think we can do this. I want to keep the petition going until the final rules are released. If that's a month from now and in a month we have 50k or 100k or 1M signatures, at least those people will know what's going on, and if we DO get a large amount of signatures, fantastic.

That super fast start was encouraging, but this is a marathon, not a sprint. I'm willing to keep at this if you all are.

Come on all you lovely people, get out of your shells and read it, sign it, and pass it on. Am I missing something here? I am going to try to figure out how to put this petition in my sig like I see so many others doing. so true Jode . on the days when I have less faith in common sense I stock pile on days when I have greater faith in the integrity, honesty and forwarding thinking of policy makers I try to encourage and maybe even educate.
