Yep. I enjoyed the Reborns and, so far, I enjoy the "New" Original. Other than simple curiosity, I'm not too concerned about the differences between the Original, Reborn, and "New" Original.
I hope Bad can chime in to tell us the difference between this version and the Reborn's. I'm hoping that the capacity is back to what it was in the original's but the bottom line is how it vapes.
How's it working for you?
The capacity is the same as the Reborns. The vape is fine; plenty of vapor, flavor maybe 95% of what I'd expect out of a Phoenix, just the tiniest bit of muting.
I don't know, I may have to lower that muting percentage to like 85% of normal. Right now I'm vaping an 80/20 mix of Apricot. Usually this is a very bright, vibrant, and clean flavor. In this "new original" Phoenix it seems a bit dull. I can get a flavor bump if I squeeze the bottom, but even with that it seems a bit dull. And so far no dry or burnt hits or leaking.
I hope I don't come across as an unnecessary complainer or ungrateful. I just want to give feedback from my perspective.

Danno or Bad, can either of you confirm these new "original" Phoenixes should look like Reborns or not?
fatcharlie what ohm did you purchase because the 2.6 classics came back a day after the others and we had three packs of 2.6's left from last order...you may have gotten those...
Yes first thing I noticed is the capacity is back...there is more room between the bottom casing and the wall of the Phoenix and its shorter, on the reborns they had a casing that seemed to take up half the unit. I think fatcharlie may have gotten the last of three reborns in the 2.6's we still had before the non-reborn classics came back a day after I put up the 2.4's (we'll get that straightened up for him)...
Thanks for the reply Danno. I ordered the 2.4 ~ 2.6 ohm versions, on either Friday or Saturday. I received my shipment notice on Saturday, which was freakishly quick (in an awesome way!). I would imagine that to be my luck to receive the last of the Reborns that you had.
Ah, so the mystery is solved. I got one of those packages of Reborns. I ordered two boxes. I opened the second box and they're definitely different. I've been vaping the Reborn and that's why I've been unable to tell the difference.
I received my delivery of the Phoenix today and they are the same as the reborns. Since I had no problems with the original ones or the reborns I have no complaints, so far. 
FWIW I always raise the center post up a tweek to help with wicking. Occasionally I will trim down the wicks. The bottom where the cup is located is large same as the reborns and the bottom is sealed, which is what I like the most over the originals.

Personally I never had that problem with the originals. I just filled and vaped. That's why I liked them so much.
My order of 2.6-2.8 "Classics" came in yesterday. They didn't look like the originals so I compared them to the "Reborns" my Daughter is using. They are identical to the "Reborns", same long base & short inner tube.
Am I wrong in thinking that they should look like the originals??
