Is there a noticeable difference vaping SS in TC rather than in power mode? Excuse my ignorance. You can say that I'm still a newb.
I have yet to use it in non tc mode so I really couldn't tell you. No dry hits is a great feature of tc so I guess that's a difference.

Sure, you can hold the button long as you want as it will reach temperature and stay there.

As far as taste, it's different as well. With temperature control it's almost like being able to customize your flavors.

Well damn. I use ss so it would be pretty useless lol.
It would be useless for TC over SS. I ran an SS coil in wattage mode on mine all day today... Notch coil, in fact, at 25 watts. Nice vape.

Overall, I like the little Hana Ones for their small size and battery efficiency at lower wattage's. I mainly use SS430 now at lower wattage's in some of my Kayfuns, so it works out pretty well.

I got into a 'sperimentin' mood tonight. Put a Ni200 coil into a Kayfun Light Plus in the XvoStick (clone DNA40), and a Ti coil into a Kayfun 4 on the iStick TC40W, and a Ni200 coil into a Kanger Subtank Mini RBA in a micro KST top fill clone on the Hana, and another Ni200 in the RBA head of a Melo 2 on the iStick TC60W.

Generally speaking, the iSticks are tuned a little cooler. I was getting similar temps at 470 on the iSticks and 420 on the DNA40, and, surprisingly, the clone. The clone, however, did have a small issue locking into TC mode.

The Hana is the first authentic DNA40 I've owned. I have owned several clone boards.

Kinda impressed in spite of myself...

That's not to say that there aren't issues with the Hana. The battery sled is a bit funky and was giving me bogus low battery errors for a bit. I popped it off, cleaned the contacts, and put it back together and all is good there. It also reads "Temperature Protection" AFTER I'm finished with a pull... odd, that...

A lot of people say the Hana's have all kinds of problems, but the DNA 40 board itself seems good. This is my first DNA 40 tbh and at $20 I couldn't see why not. Love my DNA 200..

Yeah, the battery bays are flimsy, I could see them going out after a lot of use if not gentle with them.

Also, I can fire mine by pushing the Case right under the fire button lol :w00t:

Yeah... I think I'll not be swapping batteries much.

I didn't mean the sound (I'm about half deaf), I meant the vape quality. Do you notice any harshness?
No harshness. I'm not quite sure what you could mean, except for in terms of vape. I've only had it for a day, and haven't been giving it my full attention. What I have noticed though is having a need to increase the watts as its not hitting as hard my other mods, e.g, Presa. These are just my initial impressions.

Edit: Initial impression in power mode.

PWM causes the vape to have a harshness, lower the frequency the more noticeable if is.
In truth I don't remember hearing about it until today. I'll do some research, get a better understanding and then test it out.

Edit: Hold on, I remember Phil (PBusardo) talking PWM on other mods, and how performance varies at certain wattage ranges. f1vefour (geez that's a mouthful (that's what she said)) do you remember hearing any particular watt range where the issue occurs?

I would think at the higher wattages, I know a bunch of 2 18650 mods do it to hit 200w
