It's true that most of the tubes from the 50's do sound better and some of the newer production tubes are good as well. I don't think some of those outrageously priced NOS tubes would be that much of an improvement in sound.No doubt the old tubes were made better, I had some 6L6 metal case tube a friend had to have for his guitar amp. I still have a case of old tv/radio tubes and a tube tester.

And so the last of my purchases from the pre Christmas Sales turned up yesterday - the Dovpo Topside Lite.
Today I'm running it as an ordinary mod, tomorrow I'll see how it goes as a squonker.
Initial thoughts? The instructions in its booklet weren't much help; I'd to go to YouTube to see how it came apart and how you got a battery into it. It feels brilliantly light as a single mod, I love the feel of the buttons, the large screen is superb and the vape experience excellent.

Nothing like some healthy excercise first thing in the morning - no, not that kind!
Converting the Dovpo Lite to squonk mode I dropped the small valve you have to fit first and spent a good 5 minutes crawling round the floor to find the thing, after first hunting for my glasses.
First pic shows the offending small valve!
Device assembled, bottle with some juice in it and my original Origen Little fitted I tried it - and loved it with a 0.87 Ohm coil running at 17 watts.
It's quite big - see the pic with it beside an Aegis - but much much lighter.

How do you find your v3? I find I manage to 'Pocket Dial' my wattage to max which confuses me with the swipe to unlock and mine seems to autofire overnight and ruins my coils (although I think thats from me completely overfilling my RDA and leaking all over it), but i found it never really lived up to my v2 in my opinion either

The Minikin 2 will always be my favourite though and a bit better again is my Minikin 2 Kodama's
If yours is auto firing you would have a problem with the chip. If you haven't had it for too long it's worth contacting the place where you purchased it from

I ordered it direct from them so I'll drop them an email and hope for the best, I bought the kit on release though so I'll probably be paying for repairs but hey, the things we do for a good lookin vape
PS. Love the colour you got, hot daamn. I got the white 3s and if you get her in just the right light (which apparently I couldn't do for the picture lol), you get a real nice blue shimmer

If you got it from Asmodus it's most definitely worth contacting them regardless of how long you've had it. They have fantastic customer service there and all of the guys are really nice and understanding
