Even squonking, I'm really a Tootle Puffer - with a Wasp I'm happy running a 0.78 coil at 17 watts/3.64 volts with the airflow less than half open.

For many years I have stuck with my nautilus Mini Originals because like the Wasp they have a domed top which IMHO is better for flavour - other's mileage may vary.

The Wasp is simplicity itself to coil and wick, being a single and seems fairly happy with a spaced coil and a loose wick.

While I have no complaints whatsoever about either the Dovpo Lite's performance nor about the flavour from the Wasp, today I'm experimenting to see if I can get it to more closely resemble the vaping experience of a nautilus Mini - I've taken the wattage down to 14 with a 0.87 Ohm coil and have fitted one of my spare Zlide tips - so far so good...

I have a spare unused Wasp and later today I'll see if I can fit in a 1.6 Ohm microcoil

I've got 3 o' those wasps that came with the oumier bf mods and broke the purple cap that matched the purple one (dropped it). I got some alovape replacements, but couldn't find that purple one.

There isn't a Sad icon available to post, but trust me I know how you feel - when you get something you really want and something happens to it and you cannot get a replacement it ain't funny.

I got similar when I managed to lose the matching original drip tip for my first Mulus and found Aspire didn't supply replacements and I'm still less than pleased with them!

I could never get happy with my wasp nanos. I've got a couple with the ultem (coloured) tops and they always seem to get too hot with builds around 0.3 to 0.5 Ohms. Plenty of other little single coil RDAs handle that build better so mine are in the drawer.

I'd guess it'd vary with vaping style and the coil used.

As I've said I'm basically a Tootle Puffer who vapes the way he smoked a pipe - lit up took a few puffs let it go out and repeated and rinsed throughout the day.

Up til now I've used coils around 0.8 -0.9 Ohms running at 17 watts max with my ultem topped Wasps and they've kept cool whereas my Origens would have been distinctly hot to the touch doing that.

I've made a 1.2.Ohm coil this morning and it's doing well at 12 -14 watts so far.

Pipes are awesome and I was smoking few years ago but got bullied by everyone cause I was 25 and in their mind I am toooo young and it doesn't look good and I stopped it and back to cigs cause I am stupid and listen to them....
If I didn't vape I would go back to pipes now but...

Different days, I dabbled with pipes from age 20, switched full time to them when I was 25 and smoked mine until I discovered vaping when I was 65, five years ago.

The Old School combination of a Nautilus Mini with an iStick 30w is still my favourite "after all these years" ... but then again I'm a Tootle Puffer more interested in taste than big clouds.

Since I returned to squonking I've been seeing how closely I could replicate the vaping experience of my old favourites with other devices and I'm just about there with a 1.2 ohm single coil, airflow closed well down and a longer drip tip on my Wasp rnuning at a mere 12 watts.

You'll all be fed up seeing pictures of this, so I promise this is the last one!
