Hahaha, I wonder why? :pervy:

OMG, yasss! I do miss it.

O, yeah, great stuff. Even just from vending carts. Loving it!

Called it! :rickroll:

I don’t like food from the North of Perú. I think it can be too scandalous  I grew up in a half Peruvian (strictly from Lima) half Japanese home so I’m more used to food from the coast. Fresh, simple food.

O, lol, I thought because rocoto was one of the hottest of the midrange peppers around.
But I get you. Had some great ceviche up north, though.
Funny thing was that me and a friend (who migrated to Perú years ago) decided to do something nice for a poor community in Iquitos and bake pancakes. We called it pan holandés. :pervy: Not a single adult would eat it, because "Why tf are there men in the kitchen?!" Really, every adult was insulted. The kids loved it, though. With jelly and peanutbutter. It was awesome.

But rocoto relleno isn’t spicy at all lol! At least not to me hmmm...

That was so nice of you! And they didn’t eat it? You must have come here a long time ago, now most people who cook well are men :p

Just found this meme and thought it was perfect. How I react when someone says they’ve never had Peruvian food:

LOL, but you have the genes. I had to learn the hard way. Although, a friend is half Indonesian and his grandma made these wonderful, albeit spicy dishes, so I was kinda trained for it. Just not prepared.

Good stuff! I think it was about 8 years ago. But you'll also have to take into account that it was a very poor neighborhood of Iquitos. Like wooden shacks on poles in the water, trash floating everywhere, alcoholism. Very dire conditions. And a lot of the men were alcoholics and the women really felt that the kitchen is their domain and the men should keep the f out. So, I do understand that for them it was kind of a culture shock.

We take our cooking seriously XD but yeah, still in South America we feel that women should be in the kitchen and not men, especially if we talk about the household as opposed to restaurants. I think it depends on the community, there are some where men cook on special occasions for example. There’s another thing which is very sad, these communities are often times veeeeery sexist and racist. Not all of them but it’s a reality.

Old home week is wonderful... but this is a picture thread. :D
All right, all right. I'll play ball.

Me, I pass on fusion rolls. Here too they're putting sauces on sushi... WHATTTT? No!
To be fair, there's also avocado on there. Which, to me, sounds awesome.
And it's not really sushi if it's a fusion roll, that's why they call it a fusion roll. ;)

Never understood why anyone would want to run an RTA on a single cell mech? I could understand back in the Kayfun days when mod choices were limited, but not today.
I love to run the Reload RTA on a single 18650 tube mech with the Samsung 20S because, unlike any other RTA that I know of, the flavor performance is simply just fabulous with 4.5 wraps 2.5mm 27/36 Ni80 aliens dual coil at .11 ohms, like so:
