Apologies in advance for the poor pictures!

Some time ago I ordered what I thought was the non TDP pod for my Mulus but when it arrived it turned out to be the RBA pod which then I didn't know existed.

From time to time I'd take it out and look at it, but think "Naa - that's too small. With my aged eyes and not 100% steady hands I'll never manage that ... and I remember the sheer amount of my life that I wasted on it, trying to rebuild the accursed Melo Tank that let all the juice pour out the minute I turned my back!"

We're in lockdown and as I'd nothing else to do I tried it this morning.

You need three hands and a microscope, trust me - but I managed to get a 1.0 Ohm coil into it and so far so good ... but we'll see...

I used to say on here, that they should come out with a cig-alike with a cord long enough to reach your pants pocket, connected to a big brick battery pack that’d last 5 days :hubba: but then the Joytech eRoll came out and I realized that, it was an even better design. It’s funny I never even tried the eRoll, considering it was one of those designs where, you hope for it and then it comes out, for me. Besides the low juice capacity, it had a lot going for it, compared to the pod devices of today. All they needed was to develop a little piston tank refiller. plug in your e-cigarette into your pocket charger, maybe crank a knob til there’s resistance, to refill your clearomizer. Now your device can be the size of a 27 because it charges up and refills every time you pocket it. O well, i guess the market wanted to differentiate from the cigarette style design. Pretty cool setup @Timbo87

Running the good old Kayfun V4 as my daily driver these days. Stepped away from all the high wattage juice burners due to the ludicrous vape taxation here in Nova Scotia.

Horrible Kindle picture for your maximum viewing pleasure. ;)

Between Christmas and New Year these were on offer for a limited time only at incedible bargain basement clearance prices ( around £10.00 a throw ) so as a good Scotsman I couldn't resist buying a spare!

Possibly the Bargain of the Century as it came coiled and wicked with another coiled and wicked deck thrown in, as well as a spare squonk bottle and a free battery!!!

It's a Qinpu A3 (8.5Wx2) hybrid that I use with a pair of Dayton B652 bookshelf here in the vape shop. The stock Chinese 6N3 tubes were quickly replaced with a pair of JAN GE 5670W (I removed the standoff between the plastic tube guards as the 5670 are much shorter than the 6N3), but it will take 2C51 and Western Electric 396A if you can find a reasonably priced pair.

Source is the Line Out from an Amazon Echo (3rd Gen) streaming Spotify.

I've never tried the line out with any of my headphones as I have a Little Dot MK IV OTL headphone amp for my high impedance cans. I do have a pair of 50 ohm Fostex T50RP MK2 Planar that would probably work very nicely from the speaker taps. I'll have to try it one of these days, that might save me from ordering in an Emotiv BasX A-100 amp for those. A pair of jumpers inside the A-100 can bring the speaker output power directly to the headphone jack for seriously hard to drive headphones like the HiFiMan HE6 etc.

I do love the euphonic sound from tube gear. :toast:
