Happy vaping!!!!!

P.S. A very special thank you and *hugs* to Katya with Lori's help for the get well card she sent me in the mail and to all those that had their names added to it. It was the best surprise and has helped me since getting it. I keep it sitting on the night stand next to the bed so I can look at it and draw positive energy from it to speed my recovery.

OMG!!!!! WitchWay!!! Girl, how are you? How have you been? Back with a vengeance! :p

A wall of text! You must be feeling better!

So good to see you! Welcome back! Welcome back, dear!

I also want to thank all of you for taking the time to report back your findings to us...it really is helpful...but let me ask all of you this one question.. Would you all be happy if you had paid for the PitBull in its present form?...no changes being made to the way it looks or works?....that is something I would like to know...thanks again...

I'm having a tough time Bill... I'll keep reading hoping I will find solutions to the difficulties I'm having but if this were my first experience with an e-cig and I had paid for it I would be headed to the store for a pack of analogs.

At this point I'm not sure if the problem is with my cartos, with the battery, or with my technique. I do know the Bull is being a bully to me... I'm getting no vapor, about the time my carto finally starts feeling a bit warm the safety shut off kicks in. I just got it off the charger so it's fully charged **kicks rocks** I'm reading some great experiences but at this point I'm just a bit frustrated.

I just have to ask.....why would you say something like that? Why wouldn't...in fact why don't you just call me? ......if your having problems getting the product to work just call. 877-964-7800. m-f 9-5est.

and you DID pay for the cartomizers.....so you can expect the exact same service anyone else gets. In fact.....I give the same service to people who receive there products as a gift from family or friends. It doesn't matter how you got it...if you need help with it we're here to give that help.

That said...the easiest thing to do is try a different cartomizer. The cartomizer should not be getting hot the way others do....if your not getting vapor it is probably a combination of your technique and too much juice in the carto. Just blow out the carto from the thread end until any extra juice drips out of the top. Try taking off the cap and removing the filter at the top. There is just way too much that could be going on for someone who simply cant make the product work for me to post it all.....if myself or another SS team member can talk to you on the phone I'm sure we can have it figured out in very little time.

I said it because it has been my truthful experience as well as the answer to the question posted. I was under the impression that the purpose of a beta test was to get both positive and negative feedback. This is not personal and we HAVE communicated via Email. I spoke with you then (yesterday morning) of the difficulties I was having and as of yet have not received a response. I didn't complain because service is not what is being tested. I finally posted here in this forum hoping to get some answers (not my head chewed off for being honest).

I have tried 2 cartos, the second did the same thing as the first, it worked briefly and I was very happy with the battery function. Since it was the first full charge it didn't last very long and I needed to plug it in again as was expected. When I started using it again the second carto was the same as the first.

After reading a bit further I noticed that some were filling the cartos and so I did this as well, that seemed to take care of the problem I have been having with both cartos. It would seem that instead of being overfilled, they were actually quite dry.

Thank you for the number Lori, it would appear that I have managed to correct the issue.

Lori, it's sounds as if we are having communication issues and at this point I hope we can just put this behind us. This has been your baby and I see no reason for another customer service rep to contact me. I am charging that bad boy now and waiting (yes patiently) for the light to go out so I can give positive feedback.

So far I know I can say that I thoroughly enjoy the draw. I've only had limited experience with an automatic battery and I wasn't sure I would like it. The PB is so much easier than the 510 automatic batteries that I have tried. It's very smooth just like drawing on an analog. I love the look and feel, however, I do agree with the consensus that the CZ should be blood red.

It will be! Bill says the two noticeable changes will be the blood red CZ and the threads will be cut more accurately. Also the battery sale should be functioning now....$15 pink and gold batteries at the ECF site....this is really a great deal for anyone who wants to be able to compare the batteries.

And...just talked to Bill again about the chargers.......he says to really not worry about the blinking LED on the charger or the different colors when it does weird stuff. The light on the battery should stay on until it's charges and then go off. That is the main point...if that is happening then the charger is working. He also said.....do NOT drain the batteries dry....this shortens their life.....it's best to put them on the charger when they are still working....not wait until they are totally dead. The few times you have already done that for this test isn't going to hurt them...he is talking about overall....the entire life of a lithium battery.

I also asked him yet again about the switches and internals of the Royales versus the Hendus etc....at this point in time they are all exactly the same. And he says NO....these switches do NOT wear out like other auto batteries and they do not stick like others either. They are not just a different configiration but completely different types of components. Themost probable thing that will make them fail or stop responding is juice accumulating inside the battery. This is NOT a short....it is a simple physical action of the juice preventing the diaphram from opening .Hope this made sense and helps explain it. I don't claim to understand all this...I'm just the parrot :0)

Of course we can Sadie....that's what happens when you (meaning me) never sleep :) we're cool :)

Hmmm, it seems that I was having trouble editing this quote:

I find it kind of accurate in our calculations that your for the most part getting 150+ puffs...that's what your supposed to be getting...give or take a few...now why some people are in the high 100's ...that would be simple...a primer puff...they use the same amount of energy to heat up the Carto as a regular puff....so....when counting...keep that in mind...1 primer puff + 1 puff=2 puffs(technically) that's what physics tells us....it's kind of like revving your engine before putting it in 1st gear and dropping the clutch...you still wasted some gas....even though the transmission was not engaged...
At first I was worried that I wasn't counting my primer puffs, although I DID include them when I was counting the time on the cut-off... I still seem to be above the target range, averaging about 165, but if I doubled those it would be well over 300... LOL!! (actually, my primers are more of a hiccup rather than a full puff)

Ok, so I tried a few more puffs on the last (dry) carto and got that kinda burnt taste, and when I opened it up the filter was dry but white. I filled it up with 30 drops of my choco/menth mix (50/50 555 menth/double choc both 50/50 VG/PG).

At 110 puffs I started getting a hint of the burnt taste coming through so I topped it of with another 10 drops and it was Ok... I only mad it to 155 because I didn't want to push it and the vapor was slowing down anyway.

It only took about 2hrs. 10 min. on the wall charger this time, but the last few min. were spent trying to figure out what it was doing... Ha!! I took it off the charger at 2hrs. to show one of my neighbors, and when I put it back on, the light was red but the LED was out... if I loosened it up a bit, the light turned blue and the LED stayed out... if I let it sit too long it started blinking again!! So I figured it was done...

I'm about 1/2 way through my 4th full (?) charge using just my 555 menth this time... I want to save the last 2 cartos in case I get another batt to compare it with!!

I am loving the way it feels and the draw on it with the original cartos, because that is part of the whole experience!! But I just don't like the menthol in them (sorry)... Since there is only one choice in strength, I guess you don't have a lot of customers asking for it. I'm not real picky about my menthol flavor. I used to smoke B&H menthol lights, but I'm on a fixed income and when cigs hit $5, I started buying anything that was on sale, and finally getting the cheapest menthol 100's at the local smoke shop by the carton!!
I've tried a couple of menthol samplers and had a hard time telling the difference, except that most were too minty or the menth was too strong (except the one that had the anise in it, which I have managed to copy pretty much) so when I tried the 555 menth, to me it was the perfect blend of tobacco taste and just the right amount of menth... but that's just me.

And now, to get my :2c: in about the CZ color... I know that the image of a Pitbull is strong and tough, which the new batt definitely is!! And I agree that the Red would be absolutely gorgeous... It's just the term "blood red" that I am having a problem with... Pitbulls have been getting a bad rap lately, with all of the attacks you see on TV, whether it's against people or other animals. So, just from a marketing standpoint, couldn't it be called "Ruby" red? or maybe "Fiery" red? Just a thought...

I have a Dr.s appt. to go to, but I'll check in later...

anybody else using the pb with an atty?
it seems my count has now dropped down to about 120 puffs unless i got sidetracked which is possible. this counting business is for the birds - hiya katya-
anyhow, if i counted right then an atty seems to use up battery power faster than a carto. possible?

Very possible if the atty runs at lower ohms than the carto. Lower resistance would cause the battery to drain faster. Dunno what the ohm rating is on the atty you're using.

It's going to be a function of resistance and "use". If the atty is lower resistance than the cartomizer (likely) and you are using it the same.. then yeah, the battery "apparent life" (number of puffs) will go down. If you are getting a fuller and warmer vapor with the atomizer.. then logic and math should/would tell you that the battery can't/won't last as long. You're simply using more power.

If it is a 2.5 ohm atty, that is likely to happen in comparison to the 3.3ohm carto.

Just letting you know that I haven't flaked out here. We are currently passing it among a few of the girls to get their input. It'll be a point of view from a newbie. None of them has any idea about the technology behind it. They only know to give their own impressions. I've been keeping a log and will post in a few days when it's complete if that's OK. Otherwise, if you want a play by play in multiple posts, I'll be glad to send part of it right away.
