Hmm.. 5card you had 2 that didn't have a silicone ring on top? Were yours wrapped in black sticker? Just wondering If these were somehow a "special" batch because I've purchased over 200 of the cartos and every single one had 2 silicone rings with the small filler in between them.

I ordered one box of cartos - regular, high - so had five carts. The first had the little filter paper circle right under the mouth tip - on top of the two rings. Second cart had the little filter between the rings. Third cart had no filter and the center straw up between the two rings. All three of the first ones have a sticky kind of adhesive residue around the bottom just above the threads. As I ordered the Hendu carts, I'm assuming that these at one time had another color wrapped on it.Ya My first two had the little thin filler piece on top. I got the black ones that are in clear wrappers and those first 2 didn't have a sticker on the cellophane but it probably just come off because I noticed another one had the sticker stuck to 2 packages. When I refilled the first one it held 35 drops which I like.
A question about the carto filler...mine fills a little more than half the carto. Is this normal? I've noticed people getting a huge number of drops in when they refill...any more than 12 or so and it's running out the bottom. I know we're battery testing here but inquiring minds....
I got 30 drops by angling the carto 45*(as instructed by LK), drip a couple drops down the side of the carto, rotate it slightly, drop a couple more drops, rotate, drop etc.. By the time I get all the way back to the start it has dried alittle on top, and I can put a drop or two more. I just keep following those steps until the top is slushy, then put one drop down the middle, put the cap on and blow through the threads. This got me the best flavor and vapor of thel day.
Thanks , I thought I must be losing my mind because everyone was saying it was not that way on the rings. The number of drops I found out along time ago is decided in huge part to the dropper and the thickness of the juice your using. Some of the bottles have little drops of thin juice that goes right into the filler and some bottles have larger drops of a thicker consistancy that don't soak in as good. What ever you do make sure you have that cap on the treaded end when filling or it will run out and lastly if it fills too slow for me I use the spin method.I ordered one box of cartos - regular, high - so had five carts. Me thinks that it is just a bad batch that unfortunately came during the beta test. Like Lorikay said, we are the minority in terms of their carto sales as we refill. I'm betting the rest of their customers...the non-refillers...noticed nothing out of the ordinary. Taste doesn't seem to be affected.

at least I did remember to take the carto off the battery! lol

Ok so my daughter and wife are finally asleep. She is feeling better. Finally watch the clock on the charge time. 2 hours 54 minutes on it's 3rd charge. Wasn't able to do a puff count today due to being in the hospital most of the day but will start that again tomorrow. I am also wondering about hard draw? Mine seems far too airy and I really gotta hit it super light to get good vapor. I am guessing this is just a carto issue considering it really couldn't be the battery. Anyhow the battery most definitely out lasts my joye standard 510. It in fact last approximately 2-3 hours longer than my 510. As far as being an auto bat this is the only one I've even like at all and honestly I love it. If I could make it produce more vapor than my riva I would definitely be using it more often just based off how badass it looks hanging from my lips. Heh. The batteries do act funny though. My normal bats (510 and riva) once they do their death flash that's it until they charge, the pb will still flash every time i try to hit it afterwards and if i let it sit a few minutes works some more before flashing again. Thinking that it doesn't have a shutdown for some reason. Also like I posted before my charger never turns blue unless the bat is unplugged and I noticed tonight the led ash cap was pulsing slightly just before it turned off (done charging). So I'm assuming that when the ash led goes off it's safe to assume it's charged? Anyhow all in all this has become my "driving/going out and about" e cig. Once I get vapor production a lil higher (possibly by emptying and using another carto) it might be my all day user. Only time will tell.
Basementcat....I know I said this was not to be a social thread...but this is a special circumstance.....my prayers are with you and you wife. I am certain that everyone else here on this thread and at ECF will agree. Do not worry about this beta test....it is trivia compared to your family. I know my boss would agree as well. Hang in there....come back when you can. You have no obligations here.
BTW, Spacekitty. There are two little cutrouts in the end of the PB where you can see when the LED is on. Doesn't work so well in bright light, but in the dim works well.
i noticed my jaw is a little sore from the tight draw. maybe thats just the carto. it kinda whistles when i pull on it, so maybe thats the culprit.
Glad to hear shes OK man. Yea, as far as the draw goes, I think you may be right. It doesn't seem near as tight as it was(or I'm getting used to it). Either way I like it alot.
Yeah I'm glad too. Still dunno what it was. As far as draw goes I think I'm just used to the e2 carto I was using. It had a super hard draw. Using a boge right now and it's draw is still tighter than the pb but closer. Just perplexed about vapor production. It still can't put out like any of the 510 cartos I've used. Don't see why seeing as how it's a very similar design to the
Boges (after taking out the extra top pieces) I really need to just try another cart but I'm weird like that and don't like using a new one till the old ones dead heh.
Hmm so do they make 4081 carts that are 3 ohm or less? Also anyone else experience the charger never going blueProlly the ohms. These are 3.3 ohm, 510 cartos are likely 3.0 or 2.5. Even though(according to Scottbee) the PB puts out 3.4v and the 510 is 3.1, w/ lower resistance there is more vapor. Honestly, I never expected the 4081 PB to perform as well as it does. Nice surprize.

No matter how long it's on there?
