Scott Gottlieb Is Preparing Us For the Flavor Ban

Someone needs to stand up at one of the FDA's public meetings and point blank say:

"Banning flavors in cigarettes did not stop kids from smoking, banning flavors in vapor will not either. So lets all be clear what this is really about. YOU Mr. Gottlieb and your regulations are trying to force people to go back to smoking instead of vaping, in order to more easily collect tax revenue and you don't care who it kills. That essentially makes you a PAID ASSASSIN, willing to kill people to collect money, with regulation as your weapon of choice."

I'd love to see how he answers that.

The reason to keep mixing your own juice and not buy premade. Too easy to tax premade juice and it will be taxed to death everywhere

Oh definitely. I have been 100% DIY since MBV stopped selling Wintergreen juice. I am thinking of all the people yet to be saved.

Look at this man - he looks like he's got a chip on his shoulder and a stick up his .... and he's trying to figure out how he can slip out of the room to get the stick removed. :p

I see this whole flavor ban as a bad omen for us here in Canada too. :(

He's an idiot. They can and are making tax money on flavored juice. They won't make a penny on the thousands of under the table cottage mixers who will sell their juices. etting nic might get tricky, but there will be an avenue for getting it.

It's just going to get more expensive and dangerous once it goes underground.

That's a fact and it will go under ground just like cigarettes and whiskey. There's a huge black market in cigarettes here. $10 a pack if you buy them at the store.or $18 a carton from The Smuggler. As far as e-juice it does sound dangerous. How would you know what they put in it?

If there was ever a doubt about learning a little DIY and having some backup nic in the freezer, this should ease those doubts.
Can you freeze all e liquids? or only the nicotine. Suppose I purchase a stockpile of of eJuice could it be froze?

I don't think VG (vegetable glycerin) can be frozen. After all, its the main ingredient used in modern antifreeze.

Would be easier and take less storage to diy honestly. You will always be able to buy vg, pg, and flavor concentrates. VG & PG will last for a couple years + in a cool space, no need to refrigerate. Most flavors take can be refrigerated for years. Some will fade over time.

I put premixed liquid and flavorings not needed for a month or more in the fridge and nicotine concentrate in the freezer myself.

I guess I'll have to investigate this because I do not know how to make e-liquid. Seems like I'm going to have to learn. Where do I buy PG VG Nic and flavors?

From Puerto Rico? Haven't a clue. Mixing in and of itself is easy, finding what flavors and recipes that work for you is trial and error. I have yet to mix anything unvapeable. Not always what I'm aiming for but good enough to get me through and each mix teaches me something.

Flavorings, VG and PG will remain available for their many other applications, so stocking up isn't really needed.

It's all about the nic for me. That's worth a little freezer space. A liter of 100mg should last most any vaper one to three plus years.

This is my philosophy. Stock 100mg nic/salts. I'm hoping for some good Easter sales.
