I use vitamin B12 for energy - take it about 2 or 3 times a week.

I already take a B Complex every day, among other supplements for bone density, etc.. It has 500% of the daily requirement of B-12 in it. No difference in energy. I'm positive my lack of energy has to do with my thyroid, which docs won't adjust meds for unfortunately.

I was at 6 for a long time until I went back to mainly mech mods. Any more than 2mg in a mech blows my head off.

I am thinking about going 0mg an hour or two before bed. Apparently NIC isn't the best thing to do just before sleeping. :w00t:
I started doing 0mg at night a few weeks ago. Not sure how much it helps but I rather enjoy it most nights. Sometimes I find myself still wanting a few puffs of nic off another mod though but that could be just a flavoring impulse as my 0mg juice is a totally different flavor than what I vape during the day with nic.

stuck in a squishy pod called my brain
@Sugar_and_Spice @kross8 and others -

I'd been at 115-118lbs. since high school, until about 1996. I then dropped down to 95-97lbs for no reason over a 6 week period of time. Sleep habits had become whacked, had a problem with my nails lifting up from the nail beds on 2 fingers and my thumb on each hand, and had what I call some "twittering" in my legs that made my pantslegs quiver, etc. Crappy doctor (too busy having an affair with his nurse to pay attention to his medical practice) was then treating me for a supposed nail fungus for over a year, since that was 1 of the first symptoms I'd had!
Fed up with crappy doctor, I went to a dermatologist. He looked at my hands & nails, and within 3 minutes...said that's called thyroid taxicosis. It's a dead giveaway of a highly overactive thyroid! He had a TSH test done on me and discovered my thyroid was making enough thyroxine for me and 4 other people! Started seeing an endo., and my thyroid was zapped with a radioactive iodine pill. Been back at my reg. 115-118 again since then...until I quit smoking in 2014.

I'd always had enough energy for me and several other people.. Could do yardwork in 90 degree heat for hours on end with minimal breaks. Built my own 24 x 24 storage building at age 58...every nut, bolt, nail, screw, board, steel roofing panel, etc. Only thing I didn't do was the concrete foundation. So I'm not used to having NO energy at all. It's driving me friggin' nuts, but I can't get any help from doctors with it!

So the only think I can think of to do, without self-regulating my thyroid meds (which I don't want to mess with), is raise the nic in my liquids, and see if it helps. I don't want to do nic patches, because I have a mitral valve prolapse, so years ago doctor would not prescribe nic patches because of it.

I'll be interested if a higher nic level works for anyone else, too! I'm going to try it myself starting tomorrow.
good post,, I can relate 150%,, its nothing for me to climb a tree even now. I don't have a problem working in the heat of the day outside etc......I can build darn near anything and have poured my fair share of concrete etc.

the only time I went drastically down in weight was when my husband and I both lost our jobs within a week of each other,,, he found work far away... me and our son stayed back,,i bought him food but the cat and I had to share a can of green beans per day for several weeks..........my parents (the farmers were mad as you know what that I didn't ask for help........40 minutes down the road...........they saw me when I had to ask to move in because some idiot got the wrong address when he torched our apartment)

I might try 0 nic an hr before bed and see if that helps with sleeping. I have to take otc sleeping pill to fall asleep.
Something I use if I need to sleep is a tea with valerian root in it, Republic of Tea makes it and one is Lady Cora's tea, it makes me so sleepy! Or I have 1/2 glass of wine that always zonks me out! LOL Plus using lower Nic at night :)

I hate fire too, hubby always wanted to live in the mts here but so many forest fires I could not handle it, so we live in the high desert with mesquite and sage brush LOL

we were looking to build a house a few years ago..i liked the 2 story floorplan,, and planned on putting interior ladders at each window.....when my hubby remarked I wasn't going to like that look and hate it even more when I get old......................he was right........we stick to 1 story and ground level.

I used to love stairs, good exercise, but with my bad hip and using a cane, ugh I hate stairs now!

When I first started vaping I lived in a two story house - used to huff and puff after one or two times up and down those stairs - now no more huffing and puffing, but still have to use the cane - just don't feel like it is killing me trying to do it... :)
