Catch-22. Someone will say something, then next day something completely different. I don't watch CNN or MSNBC either. Mostly NPR on my way to and from work keeps me updated on everything around the globe and locally.

Bull City Vapors has renamed their site to Bull City Favors.I don't need anything now, but I'm going to order some flavoring tonight just to see if the vendor will supply it to Indiana. You can't order juice from out of State here, nobody seems sure about flavoring.

Got an interesting text from neighbor who works part-time at a local vape shop. In it were these tidbits from a meeting the owner had yesterday AM for all of his shops' employees:
No more custom juice in a variety of ratios, to cut down on # of different products they make. Will only be making 20PG/80VG, unless someone asks for the "COPD blend" (which is 50/50).
As of 1-1-2017 the FDA will give a reward of $10,000 to anyone who turns in someone who is making juice not in an approved facility. (I asked about home juice makers, and he said the owner said beware if you make and sell any of it to others...even friends).
Said a local "bathtub juice maker" has been fined heavily by the FDA for having non-child-resistant caps on bottles of his juice sold at a shop out of state.
Owner also said the FDA is trying to get a system worked out to hire a large number of people who either are underage, or "look to be underage"...to go into vape shops on a "sting" mission, to see if they all get carded before being able to buy anything, and denied if they are indeed underage! Said they wanted to somehow get local Health Depts. involved in it, too.
Their owner "thinks" he has found a way to get around having testers in his shops, by having people become verified "members" of a vaping club in order to use them. Paying their monthly membership dues would entitle them to both sample vape and/or buy things in his shops. If you're not a "member", you can't do either.
He didn't specify anything relating to the owner's website sales.
Just thought I'd pass those things along. Don't know if any other shops are planning similar things, but I guess we'll see as time goes by.
I'll just keep listening to my NPR and PBS newshour for news.
I went into a shop in town today to get some coils, they were sold out of Nautilus BVC's. I got two packs of Aspire BVC coils, the little one's, 29$ and change for ten coils. I'm going to keep buying coils as I go through them locally, and save the ones in the stash box for if the day comes when they are no longer available. I guess next week I'll try and get some Nauti coils from them...
Nice of you to do that and happy moving.I am moving away in 5 weeks and want them to have sonething they will use and something as a going away gift.
I agree with you. And if they decide to lower the boom pretty suddenly we'll be ready.Maybe yes maybe NO. All Depends on what the USPS and Credit cards do about Tobacco products.
Last year I wanted to vote for a friend who was nominated for a cash award from Eagle Rare Bourbon though their Eagle Rare Life Award. I had to verify age. I don't drink booze so have never been on sites of booze companies so dont know if that's the only one doing it.I can't think of anything else bought online we have to verify age for, anyone know?
Every bourbon site I have ever went to (that is a lot of sites) asks you to verify age.Last year I wanted to vote for a friend who was nominated for a cash award from Eagle Rare Bourbon though their Eagle Rare Life Award. I'm concentrating on just getting Nic base I'm happy with everything elseNow that Deeming is in effect, I thought it would be good to track how people are doing on their stock up plans after 8-8-16. Are you running into any difficulty ? We know things are changing, so how is it going for you?
Interesting you should say that. I was at Cape Canaveral for a launch a while back and another spectator saw me vape. He turned to his wife and said: "oh look! She's doing that vaping thing, I heard it's really bad for your health". His wife was smoking at the time. The emergence of ecigs was a scattered ground up movement, while those threatened by ecigs focused their attack with contrived studies and press releases, defining this wonderful solution as a problem. How we vapers are perceived is the biggest barrier to successfully getting it back on track. As long as a majority of people think of vaping in a negative way, regulation and taxation will be hard to undo, let alone slow down. This is a major reason I am stocked up. It could take a long time to sway public opinion back in our favor.
When people around me say that i give a little spiel about tar, carbon monoxide, potassium nitrate, abd 6,000 chemicals in cigarettes.Interesting you should say that. It's funny that people can post their favoritism to left wing media and no rebuttal is allowed. Ehhh... whatever.
I used to listen to NPR daily. Until they had Stan Glantz on there talking about e-cigarettes (all negative). And I realized that a lot of their funding comes from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (Johnson & Johnson). They have not nor will they ever have balanced reporting on vaping. I haven't listened to NPR since.
I have never visited a B&M, but I'm thinking about going to a local one just to see what they've got and what they say about the deeming. I'm a bit skeptical about the $10K reward, but I guess we will see what happens!
